  • Welcome to the Town Fair! The Critters are enjoying a beautiful day. But the Greek gods are up to their meddling ways. However, there is nothing like a retro happy song I first heard as a child while watching the Flintstones followed by the cheeriest of Brady Bunch songs to get the Critters through their day. While watching reruns as a kid, I still can recall the excitement of stumbling upon an episode where the Brady kids sing one of their great songs. My only regret is that my raccoon critter could not capture even half the passion that Bobby Brady expressed during his solo 😂.
Music: “Open Up Your Heart (And Let the Sunshine In)”- performed by Pebbles and Bamm-Bamm on episode “No Biz Like Show Biz,” season 6 from the Flintstones. Originally written by Stuart Hamblen
“Its a Sunshine Day” performed by the Brady kids on Season 4, episode 16 of The Brady Bunch, "Amateur Nite". Written by Stephen McCarthy.
I will be incorporating more Brady Bunch songs into my videos in the future - whether you like it or not - ha, ha.
Also glad to finally use my Playmobil Mount Olympus set. I’ve had the concept of this video with the Greek gods meddling with my Critters since last year but just needed time to execute it. I also plan to create a Strawberry Shortcake inspired village, but for now she is visiting the Fair to partipitate in the Baking contest. Hope you enjoy!

So much fun, watching! What a great space/room you have for your houses and figures.
I watched the Bulldogs and cats with curled ears, I love them, but not for sell in the Netherlands...

Thank you! I’m very glad you enjoyed. It is set up in my living room. Behind the sky backdrop is my sofa, which nobody has been able to sit on for over three months 😂! I’m working on my Christmas diorama in another room. My home looks like a toy shop - a very messy one. But it’s fun 😊. Wondering if it will be feasible for you to purchase the curly ear cats and bulldogs from the UK at some point. I appreciate you taking the time to leave a kind comment. ❤

I don't even know where to start, what a great way to end our Sunday, thank you for this video! We loved watching it, it was like a show!
We loved seeing the mischievous Gods and the little devil mole.
I felt sorry for Creme when her ice cream ended up on the floor, her sad face. And when the little devil cut the rope!? And the water he threw at the policeman, everything was so well done❤.
The set up is wonderful, the chosen figures, the stores, the buildings, the accessories and the music.
The dog-shaped balloons are so cute! And your devilish laugh is perfect😄!
I imagine it takes a lot of work set up everything with so much detail, congratulations, the result is amazing.

Wow - I can’t thank you enough for your generous comment. It really means a lot to me! I’ll keep playing with my critters and creating my set ups as long as I enjoy it. But sharing with the small niche of people like you who enjoy what I do really helps keep my fire fueled and makes the process uniquely joyful for me. Thank you for noticing so many of the little details! And it’s an absolutely priceless compliment to me when your kids enjoy my videos 🥰. Grateful to have you to share the love of Sylvanians with! ❤️

SO GOOD! I almost spit out my diet coke when Cerberus transformed into the mole baby... LOL so cute!! But so mischievous! But even the Gods can't take the sunshine out of your critters... And lovely setup as always, it's amazing watching your collection grow, and congrats on almost hitting 1,000 subscribers!!! Keep up the great work! 🥳

Aww - thank you so much! Glad that the Cerberus transformation was a little surprise. This was a fun one to take my time to do, but it sure takes up a lot of space for many months! Reaching 1000 subscribers is a fun milestone - thank you!

Another incredible set up, I always love how much depth and detail is in every one of your scenes, every character is doing something different and its such fun to spot the little details! Looking forward to the full tour!
The little devil mole had me laughing, such naughty antics! My favourites were the cutting of the tug of war rope and the dumping of water on poor PC Roberts 😂

Thank you! And I love hearing your favorite moments. I always find that interesting. It was fun putting in all the little details for the set up - so hard to capture it all on camera, though. Always appreciate you watching.

Wow! Now THAT was a Lot of work and So Well Done!!! I love spotting all the little surprises here and there. Strawberry Shortcake???!! Totally forgot about that gal. 😀 The little balloon animals were very cool, never saw those before! And yes.....the music....um.... 🙃 You were right! LOL
I know the 2nd was Brady Bunch and when I heard the first, I went back to the stone age.... Pebbles and Bam Bam??? I believe that was the only time we heard them form actual words. Nice job with the Poof of smoke for the doggie changeover! It was All excellent! 👍👍👍👍👍

Thank you, my dear soul mate!! 🥰 I’m thrilled that you enjoyed it. I appreciate you noticing so many little details. Glad you liked the poof of smoke - makes me forget some of the frustration of creating it. I went through a retro Strawberry Shortcake phase earlier this year, and she’ll likely make more appearances. The music was fun and I’ve been dying to incorporate the Pebbles and Bamm-Bamm song. Makes me reminisce about the days when we couldn’t hear any song we wanted at a whim. And there will definitely be more Brady Bunch songs in the future - haven’t even used my favorite one yet. Thanks again for taking the time to leave such kind, encouraging feedback!!!❤️

@@SylvanianWorld I remember having my little portable cassette player next to the radio, so I could record a favorite song if it came on. LOL, always yelled at the DJ if he started talking Before the song was over. 😄 I have recently tripped and fallen into the rabbit hole of 1:48 scale... yikes! 🤪All happened because I bought a little Polly Pocket doll that came with a die-cast vehicle. Then came the little Dollar Tree houses and the furniture it comes with....also bought the Polly Pocket Advent calendar = More Polly's and this one actually came with a Family. MALE Pollys! 😁 Finally a lil Testosterone into the tiny pink homes. Been transforming the cheapo furniture with paint and fabric and am waiting for an order of wood to build my own furniture as well as hopefully some homes of my own design. 1:48 is tough to find on Ebay and Amazon. Seems a lot of sellers have no idea what the scale is. I ordered from one and it turned out to be 1:144...teeny tiny! Anyhoo, all because I bought that darned little Polly Pocket. 🤠 Like I said, a rabbit hole! ; ) My goodness, I sure am wordy today! 🙄

@@randomviking8676 Ha, ha - I remember waiting with my cassette player at the radio, too, and wanting to strangle the DJ for talking. And once I spent all night calling a local radio station to request a song. I had heard New Edition’s version of Earth Angel at a middle school dance and was dying to record it. I called an oldies radio station and got through at about 10:30 PM and requested the song - sitting on my bedroom floor in the dark on a school night whispering to the DJ. They played Earth Angel for me by 11 PM. But back then, I did not realize they would play only the oldies version by the Penguins and not the version I was hoping for. Those days were so fun, though. I think it is awesome you fell down the rabbit hole of 1:48. It’s addictive, huh? The good thing is that it may be hard to burn a hole in your pocket since finding 1:48 items is limited. I did a quick search and below is a link to a set of brown plastic furniture that is described as 1:48, in case it fits with what you are looking for. I think it’s cool that you plan on making some furniture. Have fun with it - the miniature world is really so magical. And I would love to hear more about what you are doing, if and when you ever feel like sharing. The dollar store houses are nice and I’ve seen some great transformations using antique white spray paint on the houses.❤️

@@SylvanianWorld Thanks for the link! I have seen that set for sale, but never all as one. It's always one room for sale at a time, so this is a bonus! : D My next hunt is for an affordable stand alone magnifying glass of decent quality. Hoping to find one with little arms to hold pieces as I work on them. (LOL, that creates a strange image.)
Gotta say, I don't remember the New Edition's version of Earth Angel but I do remember calling radio stations and the looooong wait! 😀
