Hello Nico, I am a snowboarder (former pro) and I have so much trouble to improve my riding in waves. Everybodies tell me it is similar to snowboarding but I feel so embarrassed with the sails, it is funny. But I keep pushing my limits every time and have so much fun and joy practicing this sport. I am sooo windsurf addict now ;-) Can't wait to sail again

Hi Nico! I'm in progress of changing my storage for windsurfing stuff. I always thought it's not good to keep it in unheated space, especially in winter, when temperature might make water freeze. But I see you do it and your equipment is just fine. Do you think it's good idea to keep it this way?

I love those not so prepared vlogs, it has an element of uncertainty! On you main channel you try to make too professional and it ends up being too boring because everything is planned out.

great video Nico, I used Flymount from 2017 (with Gopro) and from 2020, I used Insta360 with the original harness mount plus stick all extend. I have lost one Insta360, (broken attack of harness mount) Insta has upgraded the mount and the second insta360 has broken from the base of the stick ...in my opinion, it is not the best solution for action sports with water (like windsurfing, on the website of Insta had removed that the accessories are compatible with windsurf). My friend has created a reinforcement with carbon to upgrade the base of the harness, I will use the camera with no maximum extent of the stick (it's too fragile for windsurfing). In my opinion, I think it is too heavy to mount on a helmet. P.S: Nico I use GPS to add stats to video, cool output.

On O’ahu windsurfing seems nearly dead. On Maui it still seems big. Kiting is obviously alive and well. But wing foil. Or anything foil related, is going absolutely nuts. I just love that you can add a foil to any current discipline and it just gets better. Now there’s parawing. 😮‍💨

is the unicorn stick the one from the ski bundle ?

What helmet were you using with the unicorn mount?

i made my own harness mount, based on standard products, so you can change the angle, length etc. very easy, and all carbon so you don't fel it at all. next to that I use the flymounts (the old one and the new one) but be careful when using the standard GoPro connection as it's plastic fantastic and with a long extension it's not that durable...

It’s worth noting that any camera on top of the helmet gets in the way when water-starting.
