CGM, continuous glucose monitor, continually monitors your glucose (or sugar) levels.
If you have diabetes, you may already use a CGM because they replace the finger pricks. If you're not diabetic, like me, a CGM can teach you so much about how your unique body is handling your lifestyle choices and the foods you eat. No more guesswork, lots of fun revelations. Let's go over what I learned and how Levels makes it possible for everyone, including you, to get one.

Your videos are informative and interesting. Please post your salad dressing recipe or even better, put out a cookbook.
Hi there Jeremy I had a heart attack last year. I’m on an anticoagulant and metoprolol 50 mg a day. If you don’t mind me asking what medication do you take following up your stent procedure
Tell these guys don't drink Cherry bombs in bar with monster..killer
How bad are energy drinks?
Doesn’t current thinking believe that cholesterol isn’t the main contributor to heart disease it was once thought to be? The emphasis seems to be much more on issues like insulin resistance and inflammation. I really wish you would address this in a video.
Thanks Tom segura!!
What are the best form of those three to take ?
Nice thanks
Apo B And Lp(a) (20% of population has elevated Lp a, which can increase the risk of stroke and MI)…
4 in the morning its 😮
Mouthwash caught me off guard there.
Talk about fasting ... ..Please
Something to always consider: Regardless of the medical concern, all medical professionals state the same thing first: Don't smoke.
Where can we buy the bamboo water please
I thought red wine is good for the heart. My cardiologist tells me to have a small glass of red wine with dinner.
Yeah can I get a large Mcdouble with extra cheese, a Large coke, remind me to stop and grab a 4loko on the way home.
If you quit alcohol 1000 days ago that means you had quit for 1.5 years before your heart attack. No surprises there. I often also see people diagnosed with cancer years after quitting alcohol. The thing is alcohol thins the blood, and if the vascular system has thinned then something needs to be done to keep the platelets slippery. Aspirin is probably the way to go if you’re going to quit alcohol and also a statin like Crestor which also boosts oxygenation by increasing endothelial response. Aropax can also aid with depression / withdrawal whilst also having the added benefit of making the platelets slippery.

It probably gives you a much more deep appreciation for the condition aswell. Reading something out of a book or listening to someone tell a story isn't the same a experiencing it.
I love this. I feel quilt for the way ate for years. I am working on my health but need to learn to let things go. Thanks doc!
This was the perfect video for my husband. He's an athletic 65 y.o. guy. They heard a murmur at a physical 2 years ago. That led to a diagnosis of mitral valve dysfunction and bypass surgery for a widow-maker type of blockage. He has been told he is pre diabetic even though he watches his intake of sugars. I've asked him to watch this video. I'm sure we will be looking into the cost to see just how expensive it is because it might just be the thing he needs. Please follow up on this topic.
dark chocolate has tons of poliphenols annnnd many foods have poliphenols and antioxys and anti hypertension foods!!! dont drink the damn wine!!
It’s incredible how undereducated doctors are in heart health and how food relates to it.
I stopped smoking 5 years ago. Stopped drinking too. I use mouthwash because I can't afford dental care. Salt rinses seem to help my teeth. I think everything in moderation huh?
I'm in that year now and grateful. I gave myself until Dec 31 but might be done by Nov 30.
Why milk? I thought it was okay, with calcium etc. It can though cause acne etc. But why not milk in terms of heart health?
Everyone should have their cholesterol checked to be sure it falls into a healthy range. According to the Cleveland Clinic total cholesterol should be less than 200 and LDL cholesterol should be 100 or lower.
thank you
If it quacks.
"Processed foods" I believe you're going to be a little more specific. Unless it's a carrot out of the ground, most all food is processed in some form.
Thank you Dr London
Having the hat doesn’t make you a heart surgeon.
Stop living
I thought this was Tom Segura😂
@drjeremylondon what's your Mal's name and how old? I have a 12 yr old Mal/Dutch Shepherd X. Best dog on planet.

As a scribe, I see a TON of pts with EF 50-60%, how much of a difference does that 10-20% make (besides the obvious answer of 10-20% lol), thanks!
Thank you for explaining these complex things in such a clear manner. You are an excellent teacher. ❤
True. But how to change that.
I had a career in hotel management and about 20 years ago a couple walked up to the desk to check in. The husband was complaining that his leg was killing him and he needed to lay down. Two hours later they were walking through the lobby to a restaurant. I asked him how his leg was and he said it was just fine. As they were going across the parking lot he went down and died on the pavement.
Keep moving! Sitting for prolonged periods is SO bad for us.
Being alive is a known cause of cancer

#3 should be #1
genetics matter! I have family that smoked, ate processed food & lived long lives with no terrible disease or disability
This is beyond helpful. Thank you Dr
Our physiology changes dramatically depending on our habits. The way the stomach and GI works , the way the nervous system do the fine control of blood flow and much more depends not just on the food you eat but when you eat and what we eat. The body has its ground rules. Disease is largely a strategy of the body to fight the attempts that violate those ground rules.
