I Wore a CGM. Here's What I Learned about My Blood Sugar (NON-Diabetic)
Join Levels using my link and receive an additional 2 free months on your annual membership here: levels.link/london
CGM, continuous glucose monitor, continually monitors your glucose (or sugar) levels.
If you have diabetes, you may already use a CGM because they replace the finger pricks. If you're not diabetic, like me, a CGM can teach you so much about how your unique body is handling your lifestyle choices and the foods you eat. No more guesswork, lots of fun revelations. Let's go over what I learned and how Levels makes it possible for everyone, including you, to get one.

Hi there Jeremy I had a heart attack last year. I’m on an anticoagulant and metoprolol 50 mg a day. If you don’t mind me asking what medication do you take following up your stent procedure

Doesn’t current thinking believe that cholesterol isn’t the main contributor to heart disease it was once thought to be? The emphasis seems to be much more on issues like insulin resistance and inflammation. I really wish you would address this in a video.

If you quit alcohol 1000 days ago that means you had quit for 1.5 years before your heart attack. No surprises there. I often also see people diagnosed with cancer years after quitting alcohol. The thing is alcohol thins the blood, and if the vascular system has thinned then something needs to be done to keep the platelets slippery. Aspirin is probably the way to go if you’re going to quit alcohol and also a statin like Crestor which also boosts oxygenation by increasing endothelial response. Aropax can also aid with depression / withdrawal whilst also having the added benefit of making the platelets slippery.

This was the perfect video for my husband. He's an athletic 65 y.o. guy. They heard a murmur at a physical 2 years ago. That led to a diagnosis of mitral valve dysfunction and bypass surgery for a widow-maker type of blockage. He has been told he is pre diabetic even though he watches his intake of sugars. I've asked him to watch this video. I'm sure we will be looking into the cost to see just how expensive it is because it might just be the thing he needs. Please follow up on this topic.

Everyone should have their cholesterol checked to be sure it falls into a healthy range. According to the Cleveland Clinic total cholesterol should be less than 200 and LDL cholesterol should be 100 or lower.

I had a career in hotel management and about 20 years ago a couple walked up to the desk to check in. The husband was complaining that his leg was killing him and he needed to lay down. Two hours later they were walking through the lobby to a restaurant. I asked him how his leg was and he said it was just fine. As they were going across the parking lot he went down and died on the pavement.

Our physiology changes dramatically depending on our habits. The way the stomach and GI works , the way the nervous system do the fine control of blood flow and much more depends not just on the food you eat but when you eat and what we eat. The body has its ground rules. Disease is largely a strategy of the body to fight the attempts that violate those ground rules.
