After finishing the video i gotta say the wait didnt disappoint. I understand you not liking the autotune, kanye practically created autotune in the mainstream with his album 808s and heartbreaks... so you can blame him for that. I really enjoyed the video and it made my night. i know this video was longer and probably took longer to make but id definitely recommend checking out his album "my beautiful dark twisted fantasy". it was his solo album before yeezus and it shows him at the peak of his carrier. mbdtf is a lot more like the "dance songs" that you expected in yeezus. yeezus was kanye stepping out of the norm and experimenting to express himself. if you want more catchy or #1 songs then mbdtf is definitely an album you should check out. Keep it up 👍

i think songs like blood on the leaves would not be the same without the use of autotune, in songs like this it sound more like and instrument and it splaps. Great video btw

Yeezus is the album that made me a fan. I remember hearing "On sight" for the first time and the song literally hurting my ears. But after a few minutes I started having the biggest earworm of that song. Its just crazy how depolarised this album is, and how the strangest combination of sounds can add up to such a nice wave of sounds to listen to. Definetely in my top 3 Albums of all time, I am not sure wich place exactly though.

Yeezus is a very difficult, important, versatile and experimental album Considering the fact that it's from 2013, congratulations on choosing it as the first album to react to. It would be great to see you react to the Old Kanye (The College Dropout, Graduation, 808s, MBDTF, Late Registration) or even the "recent" Kanye (like Ye and Donda). i'm glad you enjoyed the album 🙏 i think my favorite part about ye's music is that almost all of it is just based on how he feels at the time, and he can make you feel like how he felt just by listening to the music. in 2004 he wanted to prove himself as a rapper on top of being a really good producer, then in 2007 he was embracing the super mainstream and making hits left and right, then in 2010 he wanted to make "the best" album with the best production and the best features to come back after controversy, in 2016 he was finding the value of his relationship with god and his family, in 2018 he was opening himself up after going through a lot of mental health issues, there's a lot more examples but it's so cool how he just gets a feeling, locks in on it, and turns it into an album. it's obviously a little deeper than that, once you get past the surface level of the music, but you can see it on almost every song he does

Early version of this album was called "Thank god for the drugs". It contained a lot of tracks and they we're long, till Rick Rubin made this album simple and minimalistic week before release. You still can find some tracks on UA-cam. Heavy experimental album, you gonna like every track it'll grow on you
