The whole 'minimal sugar' thing is to avoid refeeding syndrome which can kill a person. Once at a safe place with food, the restrictions are less important because the physical danger is so much less. RN x 35 yrs; restrictive eating disorder x 50+ years. I'm getting help again, and if this doesn't work, I'm toast because of chronic medical conditions related to a life of restriction (starting with my mom paying me to lose weight at age 6, when I wasn't remotely overweight).

Would you recommend/healthy to gain so much weight so quickly? Or do you think it would have been better doing it in increments? Because I am slowly gaining, and I'm just so sick of how long it is taking.
Whatever’s best for you! I personally did it very quickly but some people prefer going slow. Everyone is very individual but also some people have to go gradually for health reasons

It ain’t just sugar it’s also protein and fats but I don’t have a problems with sugar we need it to have a functioning brain so maybe you should have some more?
also TWWW cals mentioned but how come I eat roughly 1600-700 cals and put on like 0.5kg and I do sport It doesnt make sense to me, like a few months ago I lost on that much and I haven't like changed my diet that I can think of? dont worry if you dont know just feeling a bit hopeless
Hey realistically you’re probably not eating that much and even if you are it’s probably because your body is metabolism has gone into starvation mode so I would increase your calories and your realise that your body has more energy and just stop focusing so much on the weight because it really doesn’t say that much about your body! ❤
@@katiagardnerthorpe yea Im going to start slowly increasing as I lost some muscle and my weight is a bit on the weak side. I used to maintain on 2100 so im going to try increase to that, ill let you know though

about the height thing I was diagnosed with Ana at 11- im now 18 and I grew a little mainly in inpatient cos ive been a few times but im only 150cm, and rlly underdeveloped which I hate , I want to look tall like a adult :/ also my brother is 16 and 187cm ....
I know it really sucks. I don’t think people realise it has such an effect on our height!!

I’m in the process of “restoring” in a larger body and it is soooooo hard because…. society, medical professionals who don’t understand science, etc. I feel like I’m climbing a wall covered in oil. Ughhh
