I just thought its time I posted an update on how its like living with a Sling TSi. She is approaching 250hrs airborne time and I myself nearly have 100hrs on type. G-DIYA is now shared by 4 pilots, so she flies pretty regularly and her scheduled maintenance comes around rather quickly. Hope you enjoy my ramblings along with the video of a recent flight from Top Farm to Denham.

A very sad start to the new year when the Sling community lost one of its most loved members - Sean Russell.

Booster seats, Light speed Sierra ANR headsets, neck pillows and snacks... we are slowly perfecting the routine to get the girls comfortable for longer flights :)

Quick update on living with the Sling TSi and some thoughts on the first inspection as the aircraft have accumulated nearly 30hrs airborne and about 42hrs on the engine. She has been surprisingly frugal and has averaged 16.5L/hr over the last 36hrs and over 7-8 refills.

Finally some good VFR days and we manage to almost complete the test flight schedule in just 2 days of flying. Only a few more landings remain before the paperwork can go off to the LAA for the final permit application. Can't wait to get my conversion done and go places.
