    love it. I bought 3 weeks ago to use my Osmo Pocket 3 and Insta360 x4 for a festival. However, I don't like it's the LOUD Rode logo. I had to darken it with a marker. Also I can't place a mic flag on the mic because of where the button are. I don't understand why I can't access the recorded files from my phone but only a PC. The built in battery is not a problem for me. It should last up to 7+ years my use case like my phone.

    Hi I see i'm 4 years late to the party. I really like this turnkey options although a little pricey, but I'm looking into starting a time-lapse service for construction projects in my area and after researching I ran into this video. Just wanted to know 1. if practical to start with 1 unit until I can afford others. 2. what your pitch to companies, I know your established, but starting with no previous videos? 3. How do you charge for this type of service? Thanks in advance

    • @BobbyInBlue
      @BobbyInBlue 3 місяці тому

      Yes it is a great system. Yes of course you can start with one. That’s what I did. I made a sample video of Timelapse’s with just my go pro without the kit. It was a shorter term Timelapse. Then I used that to pitch companies. Timelapse is a unique way to show off progress and companies that build or make things love to show off their process. It depends on the project. I usually break it down for the amount of hours it will take me and then I add some to pay for the use of the equipment. It took sometime to fine tune pricing but I generally price it in a similar way to other video work. It is an area that is more unique but it has really helped me in my business. Best of luck, thanks for watching.

      There is a lot of tech in this headset. I am not sure exactly how it all works. I am still learning about it. The basics are this. There are a bunch of cameras and sensors that allow the headset to display what it sees around you and also to track the space around you. You put the headset on and it shows you the world around you with digital things digitally placed to look like they’re in your space. It is neat. 😊☺️

    the Meta Quest 3. This VR headset can do the same things as the vision pro, but for Far less money. Why is everybody treating the Apple vision pro as a new milestone? it's been done already!

    • @BobbyInBlue
      @BobbyInBlue 5 місяців тому

      You are right it can do some of the same things. The quest 3 is an amazing headset, I know I love mine. Even though they have some of the same capability. The headsets are not the same. The quest 3 can do some things that the VP cannot and the VP can do some things that the quest cannot. The Vision Pro has better screens and it works better for many things. It is a better user experience, integrates with all of your Apple software and hardware, executes the user interface and software SO MUCH BETTER. I own both. Both are great at different things. Apple entering the industry means a lot of people who don’t care about the Quest will care now. Quest is focused on gaming and fitness and the Vision Pro is focused on work and general computing. The hardware in the Vision Pro is better. Better screen, better cameras. Watch the fix it tear downs on both devices. The cost is in the components used. Apple has people who see value in their ecosystem so I’m sure the cost is that as well. Whether you like Apple or not them entering the industry means that the industry has a chance to grow and evolve. It also means people like Samsung and google will be entering the space. When these companies compete the tech and the software will get better and better. It will be like the smartphone industry. Apple’s goals are high end user experience, amazing hardware fueled by innovative software. Metas goals have been gaming, the metaverse and a headset for everyone. Meta has also said they were going to do a lot of things that they have never completed. I mean look at all the false promises made around the quest pro that they sorta just shoved to the side and pretended like it didn’t exist after charging people $1,500 dollars for it. And not following through. At the end of the day for the industry to grow we need to figure out what to do with this tech and if and how it can progress and be more. In summary a Honda civic and an Audi A3 can “do the same things” but the civic costs far less yet most still considers the Audi to have more value. What brings that value? Little things, luxury, user experience, spec improvements, status, quality of parts or lack there of. If you don’t see any value in Apple then buy the Quest. If you do see value in it the buy the Apple. Options and competition in an industry lead to better tech for the consumer. So many people are so upset about it and saying it has already been done and The Quest this and the Quest that. The Quest is great in a lot of ways but personally it has just made me see what this tech can do and what it could possibly be one day…. But Meta continues to fail at bringing that future to life. Apple has an ecosystem that people love and their ability to enter the market and bring connection to the Mac, Apple TV, messages, keychain, and all the other great tech that lets their devices work together is a big deal. Having a connection to well established current tech like the Mac and the iPhone…. Means that while we figure out what to do with these headsets we have connection to our current tech as a way of bridging the gap. The industry doesn’t need another Quest competitor it needed someone to make Meta sweat a little and to push themselves to do better. Competition fuels innovation.
