Dolomites Cinematic Drone Video
Mountains and raw nature has always been like therapy for me. I go there as often as I can (which isn't that easy being based in Denmark). I created this little piece for myself, in one night's sudden burst of inspiration, and I hope you'll enjoy the video as much as I enjoyed making it.
The Dolomites is a massive mountain range in in South Tyrol, bursting with natural beauty and diversity. This part of the Italian Alps is a region with stunning views, quaint villages, a unique culture, and tons of outdoor activities. I tried to capture the grandness with my drone during two trips in 2023.

Capturing wild deers in my local forest with a 70-200mm

In this vlog I show you how I managed to practice my wildlife photography close to my home. I wanted to try to capture red deers in my local forest. It's kind of a "wildlife photography for beginners" type video since I have next to no experience shooting wildlife photographs. The males were grunting, I was panting, getting dirty, and enjoying the beautiful frosty October morning! ⚡︎MY LIGHTROO...

That HUGE CRACK one day will collapse! If there's a strong Earthquake it will collapse and killed people. These people are ignoring that giant cracked not safe.
What is the ambient name?
AI😂
This rock will fall one day in to the ocean. When? They don’t know, but when it happens they have not much time to evaluate the city Stavanger before the flood comes. I live nearby and it’s a beautiful tour.
Это где?
В Норвегии. Но когда там стоишь выглядит не так эпично.
Super cool Reviewer. Thank you. Ordering the Mk1! :)

Шикарный ракурс
Very well narrated..all the way from Bangalore -India..loved it
Thank you! I just purchased this, my 1st, lens to go with my A7C and can't wait to be as accomplished and capture images like you do! Beginner to FF and moving away from my Samsung phone as primary camera.
Great video you have placed some great insights into the use of wide angle lens! Love your photos and what they express!! Best wishes Anthony
Nice vid thanks! Subbed.
I know this is an old video but this changed my mind about selling my 16-35mm f2.8
Very informative. A lens in this range will be my next upgrade for sure.
A couple of days ago I was scouring the Internet to find a sharp lens with a focal length between 24-150mm at a reasonable price to upgrade from my old Nikon AF-D 35-70mm f/2.8. I was also keeping an eye open for a good used Nikon D850 with a shutter count under 125k to replace my Nikon D500 and D810 cameras, all at a price that I could afford. It was late, and I was looking on FaceBook Marketplace as I've done for the last few weeks, and then I found the listing I had hoped for, it was a Nikon D850 that had a shutter count of 90k, It was bundled with a Sigma 24-105mm f/4 Art lens! The pair together were selling for a little over $900 which is a bargain so I bought them as quickly as I could, and I'll be heading out shortly to put them through their paces.
Amazing photos. Great insight on the lens choice.
Great video and discussion!
Christian, fantastic video. I am about to travel to Japan without my camera bag full (8.5kg). I have a Sony A7m4 + FE 24-105 and that is all I am taking this time. Your examples have inspired me. Following trip Africa, I still don't think I can leave my Sony 200-600mm at home.
Good tips👍🏻
Beautiful pics. Lovely
Hi, very good video, which drone did you use?
Hi. Thank you for your kind words on my video. I use a DJI Mavic2 Pro. Even though that model was released in 2018, it’s still a mind blowing good quality drone today. Very good for photography as well💪
Good vibes I enjoyed it.
Thanks a lot. I’m glad you like the vibe in my videos. It really means the world to me 🙏🏻
GOOD JOB WELL DONE.
For me I am more about the F stop and sharpness being " good enough" and I definitely prefer the range and freedom of range to not be missing out on shots I know I will regret. I have the EF version on an EOS RP.
I love your example photographs. Well done, singing the praises of the 24-105. It makes me so happy I decided to order one for my new full frame camera. I've only had crop sensor dSLRs before and relied on my 17-40 as a walk-around lens, which was barely okay as it was only 27-64mm equivalent. On a full frame that 17-40 is too wide for those general purpose, ready-for-anything situations like you describe.
So beautiful 😍
I have a simple Nikon D5300, It's not a full sensor camera. Would this lens still be your recommendation?
My friend. It was a pleasure listening this. We are being stopped on a spinning wheel at certain time-space. To reflect. It was a humbling experience.
Nice video. 24-105 has rapidly become my favourite zoom lens on my Sony cameras. Always on one body as it is so versatile as you say.
do you find yourself using the 70-200 a lot? I am building my gear up and I am deciding between a 24-105 or a 70-200 and having a hard time deciding between which one to get first
very good review and EXCELLENT images wow!!!
very nice shot und edit .. i love it
Hi Christian. I mainly use a Canon 6D with a 24-105 and 70-200. I have a 50mm and a 1.4x converter for occasional use with the 70-200. For travel, there is no question that the 24-105 is the one I would take. It's the Canon L IS Mk 1 lens, so it produces fine results even down to 1/40th handheld if necessary. Thanks for your interesting video.
Hay Christian, had my 24-105 for years, but it sat on the shelf, oddly. Only took it out a few days ago, been watching a few videos like yours on the lens and you have inspired me to get out there, cannot think why I didn't sell the lens, but feel really happy I still have it. It's great to tell you your decision to make this video is still influencing people like me, all these years later. So, thank you Christian.
This is why I love my 18-400mm. I can shoot almost anything with it.
I don't know why this does not have more views! Wow! Great drone footage.
Beats me too😅 It was a wiiild experience for sure!🔥
@@ChristianAls Just watched again and blown away again! 😊Damn YT crappy algorithms! You should repost maybe? Are you allowed to do this haha🤔😂
good video, thanks, look forward to light room stitching video
I have both a 24-105mm F4 and a 24-70 F2.8. I find myself using the 24-105mm more.
