Because I want your build to be better, I will not send the link to this kit I got haha. I ordered a cheap one off evilBay and it came with a bag of random bolts(most do not work) and came with no instructions and the fab work on the metal was all jacked. I had to beat parts with a hammer to make them line up.

For the bull crap kit I got, I’m happy with how it turned out. Not easy installing solo. I’ll have a full video out of it soon, it was a disaster hahaha. This is how it sits and I’m sticking with it.

That was open headers, it does sounds sweet open. I’ve added exhaust now, when Its complete a video will be uploaded.

@@jeffbrook6054 your bed looks great, lots of creativity. I can’t take full credit for this one haha. A buddy sent me a picture of this old Chevy that had a burnt wood American flag on the bed and I thought it looked amazing so I knew I had to do a flag on my bed.

I put my safety switch under my bench seat.

Hahah yup! I hope it helped. The Vic fuel neck will slide right out and I believe I cut my filler tube at the end of the taper. I cut it too short the first time and had to weld it back together and do it again haha.

@IronSlugs_garage when you cut the fuel neck any tips on not to shoot sparks into gas?

@@Thelegendking-yj4bm i threw a welding blanket over my fuel tank opening. Welding/ cutting near a gas tank freaks me out haha.

@@Thelegendking-yj4bmCasey’s build was great. I do not like modern dash’s on swaps but i definitely referenced his videos a lot.

He put a Small block Chrysler in it in the late '70's, but replaced it with a 351 Ford when he finally wore out the Mopar some 20 years later. He would be in his mid eighties now & still drives his Snow White F100 with his cowboy hat everywhere he goes

I’m not sure on exact year, my guess is late 40’s. I think it’s the generation before the 53-56 body style. It was a sweet truck though and sounded awesome! It’s too bad the freeway wind is all the video was able to pick up haha.

No I haven’t got video of the filler next or the wipers yet. I’ll definitely get to the filler neck soon.

Hahaha yup!! I haven’t built the front support yet or put on the reverse flip hood kit. I threw the hood on to help me line up the front end and try get it at the right level.

Right on! Hope the stock dash works good for you. I thought it was way too big to fit in the cab and I like the original truck dash, so I did what I could to keep it original. With my fuel neck, I cut the fill tube short and put in a 90° rubber fill tube and it’s ran to my bed floor. When I lay my wood floor down I’ll get in to detail about it. I still need to compete the vent tube on it so I haven’t shown any footage of the fill neck yet. And I still have my trucks wiper motor, linkage and arm all installed, no idea if they work but I have my secondary mini circuit for accessories so I’ll run my wiper power to that and control the wipers with some wiper control I got from speedway. They have a light and wiper control kit for $30 haha.

Dont be! This videos brought me back to the beginning of the build! Wow, how far this thing has come. Was just a wrecked crown Vic not too long ago.
