- GI Joe would never have been the monumental success it was without television commercials to get the word out. Here, the daughter of the man responsible for those commercials tells his story.
Great 1st person interview from someone who was actually there! Priceless. So glad she kept her father’s films.
We G.I. Joe fans appreciate the time that you took to share with your father's historic work with the G.I. Joe toy franchise with Hasbro. I really do hope that Hasbro would re-release the G.I. Joe brand.
Wonderful work. Thank you for helping preserve the history of G.I.Joe!
i grew up in the 60's and 70's. my mom bought me my first gi joe adventure team talking astronaut in 1970 with blonde flocked hair.
The media and figures should be inducted into our national museum. Before it is lost forever. Please do everything you can to preserve this history. 🙏
I hope they preserve these films. They are part of the history of the children that grew up in the 60s. In commemoration of the first space mission to WWII and beyond.
I love this channel. I’m not a kid of the 60s so I had no idea there were so many of these ads and it’s great they were all preserved and so well
Also, another thanks to you and your family for sharing
WOW! Great story!
I wonder if she has ever contacted anyone from Hasbro's marketing department and asked them if they wanted to buy the old tapes?

5:49 what is that vehicle?
I believe it’s a LVTP-5, a Marine landing vehicle used up through Viet Nam.
Could I please use a couple of your commercials in a vintage Christmas broadcast project I'm working on? I would credit you with links in the description and I also have earnings turned off purposely so I won't be making anything from the project either. Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays to you either way!
