@werksfeerii8434 it was some time ago, and i think the mod was after the anniversary patch. But I just followed the instructions.

Pimax has very bad customer service, many, not all have had issues with their headsets out of the box, and had major problems getting it sorted. Do a search on UA-cam.

@reviewforthetube6485 i did the testing after the 2 patches. Its definitely not just me, some just don't notice it, and automatically think it's perfect which it isn't.

I dont think its perfect. I think the ffb gain needs to be raised so we dont need to use it as high. They def reduxed some things aftet rhe expo because they were oscilating when higher. But i think they pulled back to much now you have to raise it more to get that feeling which ia fine but still. Also the physics feel good to me. Better then acc when its early access happened. Much better. Its got a year until its actually launch. I think for early access its good. h​@aubreycolemanracing

@scorchio89 Definitely NOT overkill, i use my 4090 for 4k gaming also, yes you don't need a 4090, but it helps drastically with anything that needs to push pixels, and high resolution. It also helps with encoding on the fly with the Quest 3. Previously I used it with a VR headset connected with HDMI, that runs high resolution. The 4099 makes a huge difference, and is definitely NOT overkill.

@aubreycolemanracing overkill was perhaps the wrong word but the reality is that very few people have the budget for a 4090 and I'd hate to see anyone put off trying one of the best VR experiences around because they don't have one.

@@scorchio89 I'm sure people will work this out. If they can afford a 4090, which will soon be alot cheaper, it's definitely better. Obviously if they don't have the money, then don't get one! 4090 or better will future proof for headsets with higher resolution, and HDMI connections.

@aubreycolemanracing from talking to people in the community, you would be surprised at how many think you need a 4080/90 to play VR. This is down to countless UA-cam videos giving the impression that that's the case. As for price, no... The 4090 absolutely won't be a lot cheaper, soon (at least not when purchased new) The 5090 will simply raise the price bar, unfortunately.

@scorchio89 I've never said to people they need a 4090, but if you can afford it, it's fantastic. And I've just seen the price of the 5090!🤣 And it's now quite hard to buy a new 4090, and yes, the prices of the 4090 has exploded! Glad I got mine under $3000 new ages ago.

@deniskraussner6425 This is an old version, but surly it's content manager related. Have you tried deleting the car fully, and reinstall? I'll have to try the newer version.

@ its not content manager related.. i found out, it has that buzzing sound from the compression that powers the sequential transmission of the car. Its a sound from the mod. The good thing is that i found a sound mod for this car and now its diminuated and its not that loud anymore. Thank for help anyway!

@odkdsjf Yeah and thing are quite different since this video, but diff settings play a big part in AMS2, and cars seem very sensitive to it.

yea theres a setup in the exchange for nords now and ive manged to get it down to a 6 39 with that, unforgiving at full pace though easy to loose

@@aubreycolemanracing well it has no comparison to iracing, Forza was the best it can comp with lol from the crashing to remapping buttons every time I start to race and extreme lack of tracks, and the need for subscription to get in championships and what ever els the sub provides def wasn't worth the cost of the game and then the extra 40 for DLC , way overpriced and way under delivers

@sp33dreaper62 Your complaining that it's expensive, and lacking in content, even though it's still a new game. The cost of iracing would cost you WAY more money when you have to pay a subscription, buy cars, tracks! Your not making sense. Just don't play LMU. Keep playing your "cheaper" iracing.🤣

@@aubreycolemanracing iracing crushes LMU and no its not "way more" money and trust when this sim gets more content, if it makes it that far, they will def charge for it, fyi I haven't had to buy any tracks in a long time, and there wasn't no 3T subscription like there is for LMU. At least know what you're talking about before trying to sound cool. gave an opinion on this sim so others are not mislead like I was

@sp33dreaper62 Iracing DOES have a monthly subscription, and if you want content you DO have to purchase it. Not saying iracing is bad by any means, just your making it sound like LMU is bad because it's expensive. I know what I'm talking about. You should watch the videos on what actual GT3 drivers think of the physics in LMU. I'm not comparing sims, just what your saying is ridiculous. And even comparing to Forza is hilarious! Try adding up what it would cost someone to play iracing for one year, with the same amount of tracks as LMU.

You can just enable csp new audio app and you can adjust the same way and it cranks the volume a lot. It's not that loud but it is perfect

This graphic engine is really bad though, only saving grace is that they got the color tone on point (but you can achieve that in any other game with some work using a reshader, which is now a default feature of the nvidia app now and will cost nothing perf wise). The LOD model switching at such short distance is so distracting, just get in the game an follow a 499P and see bit of rear bumper and aero element poping in and out at a 5 meters distance, horrible. No other modern sim have such a bad optimization.

@@aubreycolemanracing I do which is sad, as the WEC licence is trendy. Wish the licence will fall in other devs hand someday or that they will just dump the rF2 engine for something more up to today's standard...

@IxNAPxI Some of it is because your watching the real life on board from a camera, and not actually driving the car. But yes, I know what you mean. You can get a better sense of speed by increasing the fov.

@aubreycolemanracing well I drove a real Ferrari gt car at Silverstone and at 250km/h I was shitting my pants. A part from the engine that was literally screaming out, the road was moving so fast and my heartbeat was going accordingly. Increasing or decreasing FOV might improve it but you loose the comfort of a realistic point of view

@@IxNAPxI in vr the cars feel very fast in every sim ive tried gt3s, higher fov increases the sense of speed because you have more peripheral vision and can see close objects flying by.. when i was on a 32 inch monitor things felt slow but driving in vr things feel scary fast although the lmgt3s do feel slower than normal gt3s and lmu makes the cars feel very weighty

​@IxNAPxI thats bc you have peripheral vision in real life. More than 200 degrees even. And feel the vibrations. You can never replicate the sense of speee in racing games. And it's not necessary.

@@mw9020 Sound is almost exactly the same as the real cars. LMU has probably the best car audio in sim racing.

You’re watching/listening on UA-cam which compresses it. Sound is pretty damn good

LMU on youtube sounds way better & more spacious than frickin iRacing.

Agree sound is terrible, it lacks any kind of growl, any kind of onboard crack, suspension noise, trasmission wine, tyre squeel... Just listening to the sound you have no idea what the car is doing, until you hit a kerb or the grass, which is just bad. We already have no g-force to feel the car and without proper sound we lose another sense. It also explains the random switch to neutral, this is not a "you" problem, it happens because you have no idea where you are in term of gears and rpm.

@MikiLaggard LMU is fully supported now, as in your can start the game in steamvr, no option for oculus yet though. LMU in vr still needs work, but still works good enough to drive.👍

@@aubreycolemanracing I guess I will still give it some time then and do some research on open composite compatibility with LMU since my older mid-range system is quite dependent on sims running on oc. So much better performance!

I've got it running in open composite now with Virtual Desktop and definitely improves it even more. Crisp, clean and smooth you should give it a try.

Running open composite with link cable, it is second to AMS2 in vr for me, runs really well and looks amazing, just takes a while to dial it in.
