Great review! I agree with most of your thoughts here although I do feel that a couple of the maps/modes could use some work (Most of my Cape Blanc Observatory matches ended in under 5 minutes). But overall the game feels great and is super fun to play. I wish I had played more Panther in the beta but everyone else kept picking them lol. Seems like they're gonna be one of the most popular strikers.

Always a good idea to take things at a pace you're comfortable with so you don't burn yourself out. I totally sympathize with the exhaustion of trying to make content after working a job all day. Thankfully my current job makes that easier for me than my last job but it'd still be nice to be able to do full time content creation if I could lol. Maybe someday for both of us.

Hi venan, Picklegoon here. You don’t need to strive for perfection in your videos and try to make everything perfect. I personally like the content you make and you don’t really need to improve it. I like the idea of the rp/story streams and it sounds pretty good. If you ever need a creative boost, I really recommend books (try Eragon I really like that book). Keep going, and Freud it still better then rusty

I don't know if you're still playing this, but the PVP is as soul-crushing as ever. The hard staggers were a big mistake on FromSoft's part, given the insane tracking every melee option has, including unarmed punches and boost kicks, neither of which should be in the game. I've talked to some people who think hard lock is a good thing to have in the game, but the less Armored Core maintains its own identity and starts aping FromSoft's more successful series the worse games we'll get.

Wow I kinda just assumed the drops always came down near the evacuation area no matter what. No clue you could bait them to other areas of the map. Might have to try this strategy out.

I didn't get to mention this in the video as I didn't have footage from the diversion team's side. I call this entire idea "diversion tactics" as a standard strategy for randoms and public matchmaking. - Diversion team needs to know how to kite around the map and survive. Your goal is to stay alive and be as disruptive to the enemy as possible. Use heavy armor, explosives, and anything that will attract attention or keep you safe. Be a menace to their society until they can't help but come to see you! - Consider bringing anti-tank as a support weapon or use the several that are placed around the outskirts of the map both for taking down drop ships AND for firing shots at the center if the center if compromised. Communicate with your group so civilians aren't killed but fire rockets toward the center even if you miss just so the enemy moves out to your position. BE LOUD FOR THEM! - You're a distraction and defense for your team and the civilians. This isn't king of the hill style defense. This means you may need to enter the very outer edge of center if there is a patrol or enemies enclosing on the button presser at center. Learn how to get their attention without causing more bot drops to enter at center. Checking your map often and orienting yourself so that you get attention but don't promote bot drops requires understanding of positioning. Don't just shoot everything that moves, look at the situation and figure out how to get them away, not just "destroyed". - Sentry's are useful, but I wouldn't bring that many as they are a distraction to the enemy and will not be focused on the diversion team. This can easily cause them to forget about you and opt to check out center once the sentry is destroyed or out of ammo. Bring stratagems to take care of heavy targets and structures to make the most noise and remove threatening targets. - The map is LARGE for a reason. There's turrets, fabricators, patrols, SAMPLES, and plenty of space to move around in. Some maps are limited with water and walls, but you can move in a circle kiting the enemy around the very edges of the map if you need to. Just remember to be within distance to make a quick sprint towards center if you need to bring enemies out of it. - Never enter center until evac is confirmed. You don't want enemies swarming during civilian escort, you don't want enemies swarming the evac, and you don't want to go through the center to distract... ALWAYS be on the outside of center and beyond. If a side of center is being compromised, find a way to get to that side and aggro what is potentially a problem. - Adapt. Kite, cover, split up, team up, swap with the button presser and reinforce the diversion team asap near you. - If the button presser is downed. Try to throw them somewhere that doesn't have many enemies or toward the center. If center is compromised, put them near you and communicate a plan quickly. It's ideal they do not attract any attention and if they do, you have to become their new target. Even if that means bullets are ricocheting off armor, you MUST be their target. - Center has plenty of supplies, use the resupply freely as needed for stims and grenades. - Start to feel comfy with the enemies? Check the map to see if center needs attention. That's your primary focus, staying alive and kiting enemies you grabbed away is your next focus. Stay active. Remember, destroying is good, but ultimately you need to make noise. Shoot, throw grenades, eagles, stratagems, anything you can that makes you a larger threat. The button presser will not be trying to get noticed, so literally anything you do should get attention if they're doing their job right. Good luck divers.
