If you like it, then wear it. The large stone gives costume jewelry vibes, looks less real when the stone is so large. Sterling silver is too soft a metal for a large stone solitaire.

The one on the left has horrible prongs and looks VERY poor quality. I have a hard time believing that stone is a moissanite. Ive never seen one that cloudy or yellow. Get it tested, it looks horrendous. The cz has lovely prongs but not great fire. They both look like costume jewelry. The "bow tie" effect indicates poor light dispersion.

Oh, you bad girl! I too enjoy Aliexpress CZ's and moissanites, however, I did NOT know they sold lab grown diamonds! My 1 carat solitaire ring, set in sterling silver, is on the way! Including tax and shipping, it cost $243. If the diamond is legit, I will have it set in an old 14 K setting, that currently holds a 1 carat moissanite. I will keep you posted. Incidentally, LOVE the emerald ring!

Moissanites are great sustainable stones that lasts a lifetime. Most mined diamonds at this size will have inclusions anyway.

How does CZ wear and tear? I feel like they do not last because the MOH scale is in the low end for CZ. It looks more white than clear to me. It’s pretty! Did you end up keeping it?

Is it a CZ or a Moisannite? It is a beautiful stone. Moisannite is a real gem. It is 9.2 to 9.5 on the hardness scale.

I was comparing a diamond to moissanite yesterday. The diamonds looked more like your moissanite in colour. The moissanite I have is more like your CV. The larger CV stones I have don't sparkle that well because the cut isn't so good.

I agree there are many greedy scammers out there selling overpriced moissanite jewelries selling moissanite for as much as $800 dollars per carat or more which is something I can buy from other online platform for less than $5 dollars per carat for a really high quality GRA certified moissanite.

I don't want to upset you. They sold you a stone of the poorest quality. My wife has earrings with moissanites, they sparkle so much that they can be seen from a distance of 3-4 meters. Compared to it, cubic zirconia looks like glass.

does band tarnish?

If you want to purchase this ring, please save your money, I have bought mine back in February and the band color it’s vanishing, I am very careful with my jewelry. I have tried to contact the seller but not response yet. For $90 is not worth it, this is definitely not pure sterling silver, some areas of the ring had turned yellow and black. ☹️☹️ I was in love for the first months then the color band started fading and also the stone haves like a cloudy weird spot on it, hard to describe it.

The moissanite I have in my collection is an Excellent cut VVS2 3 carat round brilliant and it is soooo clean and sparcly. The gem you have in your ring must be a lower grade moissanite. Nevertheless, very interesting video still! :)

My moissnite looks nothing like the one you have. Maybe if you got a colorless one instead of a GHI color. C.Z.'s are meant to look perfect and that's why the c.z. looks so fake to me. Your moissnite is ugly( sorry).

Moissanite has a crazy amount of sparkle. Its refractive index is higher than a natural diamond's, producing more shine and a special kind of fiery rainbow brilliance. While many people go crazy for these sparkles, some turn up their noses at them. So it deeped on if you want a firey stone or not. GRA isnt a real certification its made to look just like the GIA certification. So if I was you I would have the moissanite tested to see if its real specially coming out of China. Its easy to test if its real moissanite with a diamond tester. Moissanite will test the same as a diamond. Most people can not tell that a moissanite isnt a diamond with the naked eye and it test as a diamond. Moissanite is easily sold as diamonds. A jewelry will test for moissanite but normal people cant tell the difference. Plus it does test as a diamond. If your moissanite test as a diamond its real moissanite but if it dont test as a diamond on the diamond tester its not real moissanite. Also you may want to check around ask about that GRA certification. In the USA a 2ct moissanite with GIA Certification will cost approximately 1500+ or more. I personally think Moissanite is much prettier then diamonds and moissanite is just as hard as a diamond so it will last forever just like a diamond I think it makes a good choice for a engagement ring my moissanite get so many compliments much more then my diamond ring

I'm not convinced that a trained eye could tell. I've actually had trained eyes unable to tell by looking at it that it's not a diamond. I also have a real diamond engagement ring, they can't tell. If they look under their scope they could see, but out in public even a trained professional couldn't tell.
