I feel like everyone usually hates GNB and DRK. Mostly cause newer players don’t realize that they have some decent self healing and expect their healers to do it all.

You can even do more with a little help. BRD Nature's Minne, WHM's Asylum, MNK's Mantra, and get a WAR to use Thrill of Battle or a GNB to use Great Nebula, obviously they (either Tank) would also use Rampart. You can get some RIDICULOUS boosting there. Then Deploy that bad boy to the raid. Bonus points if you have a WAR since they can THEN use Shake It Off. I have no idea what use this could possibly have, but my GOD it's fun when the yellow bar is longer than the green bar. :D THICCCCCC.

GNB main on console. I don't even have superbolide on my hotbar. I've got 16 slots available and way better things to fill those spots with. I might try using it now that it only drops you to 50% of max, but the only thing that might be worth swapping it with is Nebula.

SGE main. Favorite genre is EDM

Update, only war needs a kiss for his bubu. Paladin straight up says no to dmg. Dark Knight takes his removed skill "last surviver" to literally and heals himself, as if his intro theme is playing. Gun brake doesn't shoot himself anymore but sets himself to 50% or below.l, but aura heals him up to 70% in the time. Warrior is the only one who refuses to die and needs healing, he can heal himself, but if ther is only 1 enemy, then it's only to around 30to60%, IF it crits.

It’s not that I feel called out by this or anything, but two days ago I saw an outfit I just HAD to have and found out I had to be an Astro to wear it and I’ve dropped everything in the game to level up that job… nice to know I’m not the only one in it for the aesthetics.

hmm I really like your 2nd idea and your 4th idea. Your 1st and 3rd not so much. Just because the 1st idea just loops back to spending an aether ability, also the conversion of spending 10 aether (4 aetherflow casts =240seconds) to get one aether back. Doesn't look good. The 3rd idea is interesting but if my faerie does aoe damage around them and hypothetically drains the gauge in order to continue this damage. That means if I tell my faerie to do anything else during this they'll stop doing dps to do the new command I just tell them to do. This just seems clunky in my mind. Having to decide if my faerie has the time to spend all 100 faerie gauge now to do damage or am I going to have to interrupt that so they can support my team? The 2nd idea seems like it would work really well for the older Sch mains out there when there were two different faeries. Imagine being able to spend your faerie gauge to do old selene abilities. I feel like this would be fun but also beneficial for your team. Your faerie would be able to buff your team's damage if fae union wasn't needed. The 4th idea is an interesting one that could be look into but like you said could be broken. I want to share my one idea that the extra faerie gauge could be spent to buff one your faerie's abilities for a one time use. Like using half of the faerie gauge to buff whispering dawn healing or duration. Increase fey illumination magic damage resistance or healing potency, etc. This wouldn't apply to summon seraph because seraph is already a buffed up version of your faerie. But I feel like this would work really well with Sch kit of synergizing abilities together to make a potent spell. Like how you combo recitation + adloquium + deployment tactics = thick aoe shield. Overall I think if Square Enix were to touch faerie gauge it has to relate to the faerie itself in some way. Period.
