Very clear as you give the rationale for each step. It is easier to keep the steps in mind when you have the WHY of what you are doing. Thank you.
Very clear instructions.❤ I wonder why it is called a hem stitch though. I learned this as a blanket stitch, which of course makes a lovely hem.
Thank you so much for this video.
This has been a very helpful video. Thanks!
Very helpful, thank you!
Wonderful..thank you so much! i was wondering where your accent came from. i was guessing New England, USA!
what do you do if you do not discover until the end that you forgot to go around the apron bar? tia
could you pretend to have a knot in the warp and show exactly what you do? tia
please show slower...how you get the yarn over the apron bar... tia
what length is your table...wondering how long to warp for a scarf with short twisted fringe? i want tge twisted fringe to be maybe 2" when done....not sure how long a fringe to start with to end uo with about 2" twisted?
If you have more than one warping peg, or an over the door coat-hook with several hooks...tgese are even better, imho. using one peg...some warp threads will be slightly longer (especially if you have a wider loom and are making a wider warp...because the strands coming into the one peg from tge sides will be slightly longer than those closer to the middle.
Thank you so much for this video! You are my constant companion every time I warp my loom, even though, thanks to you, I have a pretty good handle on it now. I just find it reassuring to have your calm, helpful instruction on hand. And, the tips you provide are just excellent. Thank you!
I have a cricket loom and have been afraid to proceed on my own. Of all the videos I've sought out on warping, this is the best one! It is thorough and her voice is calm and reassuring. Thank you!!!
Thank you for this tutorial video :)
this video was incredibly helpful! I was getting so frustrated trying to use the loom, and this made it so clear :-)
What a wonderful instructer! So calm and pleasent, I wish I could go and learn from her.
Very excellent! Turning the loom around for the second edge is brilliant. Couldn't imagine how I was going to figure out how to reverse it. Thanks!
This is super helpful thank you
Love this tutorial. I’m a brand new weaver and your warping tutorial really finally gave me the confidence to try it. I noticed you didn’t use waste yarn to begin weaving?
It wasn’t until the last remarks when you said you were from ns that I realized I’ve been in your shop and purchased a heddle reed from you last year! It’s a lovely shop and I’m glad to discover your videos!!!
I wish you had classes on Skillshare as I'm to far away to take a class in person.
Thanks for the lesson. 😊
What is the size of this loom?
Great instruction- what kind of yarn are you using? The color please? Thank you
I really enjoyed your tutorial. I'm not clear on the first part of getting the yarn around the apron bar. Are you looping the yarn every other pass? One over the bar, the next time under the bar? Thank you!
Agree that this is so thorough. My question is can the loom sit on n table when weaving instead of in lap?
Just warped my cricket loom for the first time!!! Thank you for the fantastic easy to follow instructions!
I warp mine the same except the bowl with the yarn I place on a chair by the back of the loom, so the bowl, the loom, and the warping peg are pretty much all in line with each other.
Thank you so much!!!..🌹🌹🌹
Thank you for a clear and concise instruction.
Fantastic tutorial. Thank you taking this time to educate me. I am new to weaving and very inspired, eager to try this.
How do I get voice to work on this UA-cam? 1:24 1:24 1:24 1:24 1:24
wow that was super informative thank you.
I really do love her work. That looks incredible beautiful. They do all a great job.
Thank you, that was very helpful.
Hi, I'm new to weaving. Thank you for explaining WHY I need to weave an inch in waste yarn! That makes so much sense!
So glad to see you again, you taught me the hem stitch today from another video for my woven pillow. Thank you!
Thank you , very good teacher!
Thank you for this amazing tutorial! I was able to warp my very first project today using this video 💛
Your videos are the best for newbie weavers. Thank you and the paper towel tube was a great tip.
Another extremely helpful video. Thank you so much.
Thank you, very helpful. Will be watching many times.
So happy to see you again.
Thank you!
Thank you! I’ve really enjoyed your videos. I have a loom that’s been sitting in its unopened box for a year or so, and each time I watch you warp your loom, I feel a little more emboldened to give weaving a try.
I just purchased this loom yesterday and cried happy happy tears for my beginners journey to weaving ❤ Watching you today makes me feel even more excited for when it arrives in a week 🎉
This was so helpful, thank you!
I have a 25" rigid heddle loom but it's hard to manage (I don't have a place to just set it up) and all I really want to do is make scarves. I was thinking about the Cricket but wanted to see it being used. Your demonstration gave me enough information to make my decision. I just placed the order. :)
