THIS was such an amazing animated series, from the creative, dark mind of Todd McFarlane! This series came out in the early mid-90s on Home Box Office and in my opinion, is STILL one of the best shows ever created…. The OG of adult animation. Such an all-star cast including the one and only, Keith David, Mike Nicolosi, Richard Dysart, Mike McShane and Victor Love. Jennifer Jason Leigh, James Hong, Ming-Na Wen and Eric Roberts voiced some amazing characters in the series too. What an incredible show this was. I still watch this when I want to watch something that hasn’t been ruined by woke interference.

Damn, man.... remember the days when villains could use slurs and everyone was ok with it because it's expected for villains to not exactly be very polite or considerate? These days it feels like even evil characters that are planning to straight up blow up the entire planet are still willing to stop everything and say "Hey, don't use slurs, that's wrong! Now then, where was I before your BIGOTRY so rudely interrupted me.... ah yes, the Q-36 space modulator."

What gets me is how Wolverine managed to defeat Strong Guy.

If there’s any X-Men I wish were my mentors, Nightcrawler is definitely one of them, alongside Storm (whom I’d nominate as second in command if anything happens to Cyclops and Jean Grey) and Beast. I can always count on Nightcrawler and Beast for their vast wisdom (Nightcrawler for verses from the Bible and Beast for phrases said by deceased artists).

Noticed this was the first time since season 1 throughout the show that you actually got to see a bit of spawns suit, even though it was just the mask. Don’t get me wrong, still love this show but I don’t understand why they chose to not show most of spawns costume in season 2 and 3.

Coming back to this after X-Men 97 and the Bastian saga, this scene has so much foreshadowing…especially how Storm lost her powers and then bounces back like a boss. “He has YET to feel the power of the elements!”

If I remember correctly, this version of Apocalypse was so strong the only way they defeated him was to trap him in the end of time or something. I miss when Apocalypse was an actual threat; however, nowadays he has been heavily nerfed and just granted him true immortality.
