@@MoreThanASwing I’m from Sabah, Malaysia hahahah. Would love for you to make a video on whats in your badminton bag, or maybe a video on affordable badminton rackets as well. Im currently using Ryuga 2s and lee zii jia’s shoes, but I’m always looking around for more affordable but good quality entry level rackets to recommend to my friends who are just starting to play. I’m sure many others out there would be interested in these videos as well. Especially rackets that are available to us in South East Asia with other brands like Maxx, Felet in comparison to the already well known yonex, victor and li ning. Just a recommendation from a fan hehe… anyways keep it up coach, looking forward to your next video!
@@BrandonBadminton Hey! thank you for your suggestions. We will add them to the list of videos we are producing. :) If you ever come singapore, perhaps we can meet up. :)
I love this video a lot, even just a simple stroke as the lift has a lot of techniques and strategies behind it that could potentially upgrade your game on court. Especially the last part, I’d had trouble deciding if my opponent will do a netshot or lift so I usually hit a bad shot after or sometimes I position myself farther from the net but then I leave a huge space in front of me so hitting a netshot is more difficult. I advise practicing this, it’s a good skill to have in singles and doubles. I’m still practicing it as well.
I do specifically train my back movement for this. I suggest covering in front more. hear me out. you played a tough rally, you've set up the shot for the kill by giving a got net shot. but because you are covering the back more, you dont have enough time to go for the net kill and the rally lengthens. what a waste. so, i train players to move back fast, so that they are confident of staying nearer to the front.
Really loving the cinematic b-rolls. Production value through the roof in your recent videos! I think I still struggle with knowing when is the right time to do a faster and lower lift to catch the opponent out of position. Guess it takes a bit (a lot, really) of practice and "game sense" to know when is the right time to use this haha
My new favourite badminton channel, please keep making videos! You’re awesome!
Hey! thank you for your kind words. It motivates me to do better!
Where are you from ?
