On 5 November 2019, the heavy load shios ZHEN HUA 27 delivers three STS to HHLA Hamburg. The cranes are the first of five new gantries for the CTB container terminal. They have been supplied by ZMPC of China and have been shipped fully assembled from China. Here, they are passing Hamburg-Blankenese.

I recently enjoyed a short break on board @Color Line's COLOR FANTASY. Always a pleasure to sail these phantastic cruise ferries from #Kiel to #Oslo. I fear that I gained a kilo or two from the food and 'Hansa' beer... For those who also have a soft spot for Baltic ferries, here are a few impressions of the trip.

I see the vehicles leaving the stern, facing the stern. Then the vehicles load facing the bow. Is there room to turn around? How does this work? They make a U turn on board?
With your vehicle, you can enter and leave the ferry at the bow and stern.
No, the vehicles do not have to do a U-turn on board. On the Danish side, the ships load and discharge via a door (doors) at the bow. So cars, trucks and buses are stowed in the direction the ship sails on northbound voyages, and they are parked facing the ships stern on southbound voyages. There are however some roro ferries that only load and unload via the stern, so that vehicles need to do a 180. Typically this is only done on longer voyages where the extra time this takes does nor matter that much.
I'm planning my first trip ever to a different country and will be using this ferry to go from Frederikshavn to Oslo. Heading to Oslo for 17th of May in 2022. Thanks for the video & have a great day! Kentucky, USA

Yes. One ferry on a three-hour cycle: 60 minute crossings and 30 minutes at each port.
