The stick seems to be really vibrating! Is that normal? Would aerodynamic balancing of the rotor blades improve that? Of . . . is vibration simply a byproduct of having a 37 foot rotor spinning overhead.
That's my ride! MedCenter 4!
That’s awesome!👏
I would have rather seen the couple take us on a tour of the arpt And see what type of planes are based at the air park. Rather than just sitting in the hanger talking about the instrument rating.
St Petersburg Albert Whitted Airport 😊
Perfect plane spotting position! 🎉
Always can find interesting aircraft at JQF!
If grapevine california was an island it would look like this
Good to know!
What plane is this?
Cirrus SR22
@@VincentAir oh thx
I wish you could compare that airplane to something besides a garbage plastic battery-operated Tesla that looks like a damn battery-operated golf cart. I wouldn't have one of those pieces of shit. Tesla is nothing but a garbage electric golf cart with doors
Does Bering air actually fly to Russia?
Yes!
I'm one of those guys, I fly a PPG and love it but I want to be able to fly more. I live in MI. I wonder if there are any gyro events here? Thanks for the introduction! Great video.
At nome right
Yes sir!
I fly on the 1900's the

Will do. Thanks for the advice
What airport?
KJQF
KAVX, My favorite destination 😃🤙🏻. Greetings from F70.
Thanks 😊
…adorable family…COOOL!…
Thanks!
Nice flights
Thanks!
Can't wait to go 😊
Beautiful ❤
Thank you! 😊
Yes 😊
NYC is crazily beautiful from the air.
Love that plane
Yep Cirrus is my favorite
Also local to the Napa area
Napa is beautiful! 🤩
Love that plane
Actually he's low. He drug it in. Probably a half dot low
I used to just do a side slip, or is we used to call it the "falling leaf" and dump altitude for airspeed, slowing her down the closer you got to the runway. Worked almost every time depending on the length of the runway.
That’s a good way for sure. I just like S turn more for its fun sensation 😅
Yes but that could be dangrous if not done properly
@@rw2619 I thought S turn is safer. Side slip uses cross control and can cause some confusion.
I like that you identify sites on the ground
Thanks Santa! Making it more fun
One day i will have a 4 person airplane for under 100k and all maintenance done ahead
Hope it comes true soon!
👍❤️🇺🇸
Thanks!🙏
Badass … great skill of flying… my daughter is in High school pilot program !!!
Thanks man! Best of luck to her!
How high are you flying ?
Usually at 7000 or 8000 ft
it sounded like the more you didn’t pull up the more TAWS got pissed. You could kinda hear it in her voice.
Haha yeah that’s true;)
@@VincentAirwhat plane is this?
Thx for sharing your trip in the Europa mono wheel. These planes are a beautiful flying aircraft, perfect for soft fields, good visibility up or down because pilot is situated so he can look straight down in front of the wing or up of course. I like the mono wheel version best but you may see some tri-gear or conventional gear Europa's around.
Thanks for the comments! You seem very familiar with it. It’s a beauty!
Yes, I own a Europa mono powered by the 914 turbo engine. They are a aircraft that does a great job of cruising fast on a low fuel burn, combine that with the soft field abilities and delightful handling and they are hard to beat @@VincentAir
How were you able to fly on the beach? I thought flying on the beach in HHI is illegal?
The lighthouse area is legal to fly because it’s outside the airport restricted space. You can use app Aloft to check the map
Read it is not longer illegal to fly on the beach there in HHI@@VincentAir
No spequen ingles

What headphones do you use for your kids?
David Clark. Don’t remember series numbers
I use to take flying lessons from Reese Kelso, he owned n.c. helicopters in Gastonia. We used to fly to this airport to practice landing and departure all the time. This sure brought back some good memories. Thanks.
Where is this airpark pls? Which state. Thank you
Lake Norman Airpark in North Carolina
I live near there. Could u tell me next time your coming so I can track you
Will do!
A "tuscan style" castle..... oh my God! Apart from the fact that don't exist a "tuscan style" for castle....( I am from Tuscany and architect too) I will never understand the reason for such kitsch buildings that US people love so much... thsnks fir video. USA is so much different from our little Europe.
Non pilot here. I am not sure I understand what downwind means, does it mean the approach is toward the wind? I ask because planes crash here when there is a big down draft on the approach - the plane essentially loses altitude quickly and just crashes headlong into the cliff. I wonder what caveats there are for wind and what the thresholds are.
You try to land facing into the wind which allows the plane to fly at a slower ground speed. Your “downwind” leg is when you are flying parallel to the runway in the opposite direction. It’s the standard visual approach to an airport.
Yes, there have been many crashes into the cliffs at both ends of the runway. The “bump” in the middle of the runway gives a pilot the perception that the runway is shorter than it is as they can’t see the 2nd half of the runway on final. Some pilots aim for the beginning of the runway and then get caught in a downdraft on short final.. it’s best to aim a little past the numbers.
@@user-gw9hg6zm6g wow what a fantastic visual picture of the challenges there. I was an ocean lifeguard for LA for a time and worked with Coasties, National Weather Service etc on weather products to help you guys, remote sensing equipment. And my guys have responded to those crashes and it’s a question that’s been running around my head for a long while that I now have answered, thanks very much.
The girls in the hats are too cute for words!!
Thanks! 😊
You missed the most important part of landing there. The runway is upslope from either end with the highest point in the center. So when you land you think you are running out of runway before you reach the half way point.
$$$$fly into place for 4hr. you would have bee happier to spend several day with the children. good vidio.
more takie less goober music.
