Living in an air park community is definitely in our future. One thing I noticed around here (FL), is you must own an airplane before they will let you buy property in a air park community.
I would have rather seen the couple take us on a tour of the arpt And see what type of planes are based at the air park. Rather than just sitting in the hanger talking about the instrument rating.

That’s interesting! But it would be a moot if no airplane anyway
It's nice to see some younger folks buying at an airpark.
Yes!
This is my dream. When I leave Florida I'm going to Texas, and that's where I want to live. An airpark
Me too! The next dream.
Life goals
a dream for most flyers!
For sure!
This would have been great if you toured the park showed some homes. I think if someone went around America showing different flying communities
Do HOA dues cover boat slip and runway maintenance?
I would think so
What does the “instrument” get you?
Safer and more weather conditions
You fly beyond just visual flight rules. More opportunities and better ability to fly regardless of weather and visibility.
Very true!
Long Island Airpark in North Carolina ?
That is right Jonathan. NC26 is the code.
@@VincentAir let me guess, its all refugees from NY ?
Not necessarily. Maybe more from Northeast
