Your channel helped me decide to get mine, 2024. Going to try to make it last decades. I wish Mitsubishi wasn't getting rid of them, but I can be thankful they kept it going as long as they did. Which Scanner is a good one. I want to program key fob to. I heard bad things about Snap-on and Autel Scanner.

those cheap $40 - $100 aftermarket chinese / whereever axles generally are junk. If your axle is in good shape other than torn boots- I'd get the boot kit; boot, grease, clamps. I 'rebooted' both driver and passenger sides on my 2003 s60. Also replaced the tripod joint for the passenger side. The originals lasted me over 345K miles... and still going. Current mileage; 351K miles. Good luck everybody.

I use a snap on verus. It's not fancy schmancy, but it works just fine

I"m doing this, taking copious notes from the video. Given how crucial keeping everything aligned is, wouldn't marking the gears and the BELT and then transferring those belt markings to the new belt be a fail safe way of doing it?

i have the MK908Pii, LOVE this scanner and you can get a glass screen protector for it! seeing yours is pretty scratchy. $35 I have piece of mind if I drop it or anything I have that hope to save it still. just the updates are VERY pricey. keep Ebay in mind as i got a yr for 1/2 price. $685us

Here's the novel idea make every car manufacturer have a OBD scanner built into their dashboard and they're required to put it there so we can look and see what's wrong with their junk instead of having to buy a $400 scanner to look it up or take it to a mechanic and find out they fix things that there was nothing wrong with it these cars are so complicated this needs to be a must I push to have an OBD scanner built into every car so we can tell the real story of what fails on these things rather than work on trust with a mechanic and then the people that enjoy working on their cars would have some clue as to where to start with these complicated space shuttles with wheels I think that be a great idea but you'll never see it that would lose money for the manufacturers of the automobiles they never do it they're too much of a capitalist society that they exist Within

I have a 2011 Volvo S60 t6 - considering replacing the factory screen and entertainment system with an android 14 touch screen. Unfortunately that would lose access to the settings of the car on the built in touch screen. I am looking for a solution to access all the factory settings if I go this route. Would this scanner take care of all factory settings? I would also like to be able to program extra keys for my volvo and Honda 2018 crv. What do you recommend?

I have a Xtools D9 pro and it sucks really bad....slow to connect, tests that don't work that should, doesn't recognize modules that are there. I've since used a Launch x431 and it's way better!!! -regretful Xtools buyer

Great informative video but I do have a question. I'm about to get a Ford Transit Connect XLT 2012. The seller tells me there's a small issue of that the car will slip in first gear but besides that the car works perfectly. He went on and had it checked out but the problem was they told him the transmission was fine or at some point they told him the transmission needed to be changed. So some person suggested to me a diagnostic tool of like the ones that you show. And to go into the diagnostic and clear the transmission data that should realign the transmission to work in the right way. Would you recommend getting one of these tools or just having someone who has one of these devices come and reset the vehicle? Help me Obi-Wan and thank you

I'm close to 90k and never done a transmission fluid change...should I drain it or give it 2 oil changes without fully draining it? Mine is a 2015 Mitsubishi Mirage.

I just looked into the Launch X431 Pro Elite on Amazon and "lightning deals" based on some comments here. I just saw a lot of unhappy people saying their units were used, have no support from Launch, the ones received don't support American vehicles (chinese region only), and the seller/tech support is in China. Reviewers say they like their Autel better. So many options, not enough reviews, too many bad reviews (as with most electronics nowadays).

I am in new Zealand.

Nice; I drive its younger brother, an 05 Tundra, but the NE winters is taking its toll on the frame/body and I'm saving my pennies for its inevitable replacement. I had been leaning towards another 1st gen Tundra but the T-100 has certainly peaked my interest.

i got the 1.2 engine and i gotta say that was a bitch to get the oil filter can in and or out, but luckily there was a starter shield under the can so non got onto the starter, but it also got heavily in the way and got a bunch of old oil everywhere getting it out.

Can it be used for odometer corrections?

Can you add a key to VW and bmw and Audi too? Or just Toyota.
