Hi, are you able to choose to sail from Ports like Fishguard, Holyhead and Dover to Rosslare, Dublin and Calais in the game with or without loading screens for example and are they and other UK Ports included in the simulation or do i need to download those scenerys if available, Thanks

Hi, Are there stormy routes in the game, if so, are the storm graphics realistic?

Have any of you guys tried Stormworks? You can build very complex boats and ships and play around with all the systems, travel miles selling crude oil in huge tankers. Really cool game just a bit of a learning curve

7:25 That's a good point. I'm holding out hope for physics simulations to be able to accurately model the sea. Water and how it's affected by wind and currents are very difficult to model.

Thanks once again for a great review and your ongoing support! glad you enjoyed Fram, I totally agree with you with regards to getting used to azipods, at least Fram isnt quite as nippy as a harbour tug like Panther, which immediately and severely lets you know, you have turned your controls the wrong way! I would suggest testing a vessel in open ocean to get a sense of the fps draw, Fram is very light on Fps as with all of my vessels, great vid and keep em coming!

Somebody needs to get stuck in with Brasso on to that bell ;) great model.

are there any ship simulator games that allow you to move around the whole world like microsoft flight simulator and not in A closed off map. I know what I am saying seems weird given boats are slow compared to planes but I like the idea of taking A boat no matter what size and just setting it to the open oceon small boats just for kicks. I love simulators but my computer has A panic attack when I play flight simulator and I found out I didnt play it as much as I thought I would and the ship simulators I had were cool but limited in size and for one of them I would sail to the end of the border and then go to the menu and switch to another map but it breaks the immersion so if you let me know thanks

I think it's great that you showed your project off and I hope you run into a few people who can help you tweak it for Open Source release. I can't say why YT recommended this subject, but I feel the enthusiasm and I hope this works out as a completely project with swapable AI voice models. Have you considered messaging the authors of similar tools for your sailing games?

I do try MSFS with ships, but primarily it works best with aircraft, th advantage as a ship simulator, the scenery and weather is good, the water bodies are a bit unpredictable as to depth and tides, the operation of the ships leaves a lot to be desired ? I could only suggest a built in mode MSFS as to plane or ships ?

I am thinking of buying Virtual Sailor NG ? IT IS £33 on Steam ? Does this cover world wide charts ? or is there a limited area ?
