    I hate people like you with every fiber of my being. I didn't design the game. It's not on me to force myself to like a game it's on the developer to properly design a game that's pleasant to play. I didn't make this game. such a stupid argument to make. there's zero excuses for how bad elden ring is and how much it and sekiro have ruined from software reputation.

    I've never quite understood the complaint around delayed attacks, while also complaining the bosses are just circle QTEs. Would they rather be able to just press dodge as soon as the boss twitches? Isn't it more interesting to have to learn the timings? And having slower attacks allows for bigger openings for your own slow attacks. It seems like reviewers like Feeble basically treat the game as a boss rush, because if you want to talk about artificial difficulty, the final Enir Ilim staircase section with the light pillars is the best example. I don't even think it's possible to outrun the light pillars from the guy on the roof. A friendly suggestion, but I recommend you try pressing jump against Rellana more often. There are more moves you can jump than moves you can't. You can jump both sideways spinning combo starters, the sword beam, the twirly slash combo ender, the double fire slash, the one handed stab, the two handed stab, and the x-slash (but only from range). Also no man, sorry, you cannot defend Elden Ring fire bouncing physics. Bayle's line fire is just a BS are Fire Giant's, maybe even worse since he does it more often. Just got to the Radahn section and wow, while I agree with most of what you said so far... "one small sting on amazing fight" is SOOO off base. Pre-patch this attack used to completely define the entire fight. It's not like Rellana's uppercut that can't be done 2x in a row. He can do x-slash into x-slash so you're literally never safe. You had to always play around it to run behind his leg to be in position to dodge. On medium roll he only had like 5 actually safe attack windows. Combined with the super low downtime on most of his attacks and he could literally chain 10+ attacks of various different combos in a row and not let you get in a single hit. The bloodflame slash was also another awful time wasting attack. Though based on how much worse he was in the review copy, I am 100% convinced Tanimura just didn't have time to finish the fight before the DLC released, and they've been working on him until patch 1.14. I'm glad they took the L and actually bothered finishing him now. I think Feeble's challenge running has ruined his enjoyment of the DLC. It's definitely something I felt going into the DLC, after no hitting all the rememberance bosses in the base game, I kind of expected to do that with the DLC, and was getting very tilted at the start. But then I just remembered I had to treat it as a new game, so I went back to using everything the game provided me (inclunding some of the new Spirits). Feeble basically wants to rawdog a hitless run his first playthrough, without using any of the defensive tools the game provides to make learning bosses easier, while having 10 minute fights because he also refuses to even change the infusion of his weapon to match boss elemental weaknesses.

    I don't use the firestarter because it encourages a playstyle of staying off the arena, out of the action. I don't care if it's more beneficial, I also don't like DOT, I love the jumpstarter, or conduction bonuses in general more, because instead of dealing the damage over time, it charges a giant electric current to blast anything conductive INSTANTLY dealing a ton of damage. It's why I don't mind the jackhammer, it fits perfectly with "staying near the enemies" and "high damage all at once". This is why I neglect it, and continue to.

    Instaflaming rockets with firestarter is some of the most useful tech in the game, cuz it negates the main flaw with rocket launcher's primary fire (that the rocket needs to connect to deal damage). Paired with pboosting or jackhammer cores it can make for some crazy and consistent dps

    Using a sniper type weapon, that being a burst damage hitscan weapon with no spread, is actually easy. That's why there was a need to add a mechanic that would *artificially* increase the skill floor and by extension the skill ceiling. Having high *skill floor* doesn't make the weapon any weaker, nor does it excuse it's high burst damage. I'm not even that good at it and yet i was accused of cheating when i tried for an aggressive playstyle, 180 quickscoped a Spy, won against a Scout point blank before even *i* realized what just happened, and was unable to rushed down by a singular player when i was camping *inside the enemy base...* Now imagine what someone with simply better aim could do. Cheating is a result of bad balancing, and the Bot Crisis wouldn't be a crisis if Sniper wasn't overpowered. Widowmaker Engineers aren't hard to deal with and autoaimed projectiles are a joke. I tried imagining in my head how a fight with a sniper would play out if mechanical skill wasn't at play, just numbers. And i found out that without that 3 times damage multiplier for headshots... Sniper could be balanced and *actually weak in close range.* So i belive to know the solution. Remove crits on headshots and replace it with some less impactful reward. For example: *On Full Charge: Headshot kills recover charge back to 100%* No quickscopes, and no comically large damage numbers. If you have a better idea, please reply.

    I never thought about how useful the firestater could be for crowd crontrol, but it's still pretty likely for me to not used it that much because I still struggle with the controls, in other words; I just have a skill issue.

    Firestarter is my main rocket launcher. I use it not for clearing large areas but for shooting a tiny bit of a oil and a rocket in very quick succession to be able to attack with rockets at rocket resistant enemies. Plus the damage over time is really useful while you focus on other enemies

    I defiantly agree, I basically completely ignored it for hundreds of hours because i thought it was kinda mid compared to its counterparts but I started playing a randomizer for the game and that made me realize just how good it can be in certain situations. ESPECIALLY if you dont have the malicious rail + core eject or saw launcher yet in a run

    I dont use it because why would i? Time in UK is almost a defined resource, similar to health and defined by it, so, the more time you have, the better combo you can do, my personal favourite is a triple magnet kickstart overheat nail spam. The electricity travels across magnets and the 2 overheats can kill guttermen and tanks and boosting the damage significantly. I dont use the firestarter because it takes a bit less time for a lot less effect, and also, its hecka unreliable, a swordsmachine can run away from the fire or instantly die to the Kickstarter, the choice you take though is yours

    I found it easier dealing with 2 mindflayers compared to 4 cerberi. My strategy for them is like maurice: grapple and shotgun swapping. Occasional ricoshots or screwdriver if I want to deal with maurices or virtues first, then mindflayer is just really easy afterwards. But even if I don't use the screwdriver they're easy. For me at least.

    Also if you're a hammer junkie like me you can grenade boost a rocket to achieve the same effect as a core nuke, just with less damage and not a red explosion, this will do the trick though.

    I thought it was proven that the firestarter doesn't deal extra damage? The extra damage comes from the fire, not by increasing the damage taken. Hakita himself said that he didn't want to make it do the extra damage thing because it would make optimal gameplay not as fun

    ive heard burning enemies from the firestarter also have their damage intake increased to 150%, is this true?? I've used this to my advantage in bosses, and it seems like it is true. It could just be placebo effect playing tricks on me though

    I used to use it before they nerfed it’s underwater abilities. While it did need a nerf, reducing the number of explosions makes it feel so weak (it has a far weaker controller vibration now and is quieter due to there being half as many explosions, weak feedback makes it feel like it barely did anything). I still think they should have halved the explosion damage rather than halve the number of explosions. Anyways, while I agree that it could be strong if used correctly, and there are definitely people that will use it well, it doesn’t really fit with my playstyle that well unfortunately. I usually only use rocket launchers for drones, sometimes cerberus, or punching the cannonball at something, and also never rocket ride (would be stuck in the fire) or core nuke. Good video though, hope it convinces more people who can fit this into their playstyle to try using it

    you forgot to say how you can just nullify the rocket launcher greatest weakness... having to aim, by just taping m2 and m1 on the floor you can hit enemies more easily.

    i dont use this in cg for area coverage because thats just not how i roll in fact, i dont use anything for area coverage (because the only one i know for area is nuking and core sniping and i fucking suck at the game) still got to wave 53 though

    Personally I use the firestarter plenty, it's especially good for big bosses because of how the voxel system works. Spread the oil all over them and it does massive damage.
