After doing surgery how many days to recovery to normal life
@@RahumanSafvana it depends on your definition of normal to be honest. And also if you’re talking about pain wise from the surgery or are talking about the symptoms in and of itself.
@TheBounceBack1996 pain and after surgery and when u have normal food
@ Your doctor should go over all that with you but for me the pain went away after 2 weeks for the most part. However i couldn’t walk upright with a good posture for much longer and it would hurt and feel uncomfortable where the wrap was if I did for about a month or so after. But most of the pain went away after two weeks.
you said you are 123 and after 2 month you become 230 you gained 3 kg right , so do you feel any throat discomfort and from surgery till now how much weight you have gained
@@hackattackanddefence4471 130 not 230 haha. My lowest point at surgery was probably 121. I stopped checking the scale after 123. I felt better after I got off my ppi and I would attribute that to the better digestion probably because I had more acid in my stomach. Felt good for a bit and got up to 138 but had some returning symptoms. That’s when I started having significant throat clearing again albeit not as bad as before surgery. I also noticed heavy bloating. I put two and two together and since then have been focusing on addressing my gut motility because I was almost at the threshold of gastroparesis. Ever since I upped my fiber intake consistently I have been doing good which currently has been about a week and a half. There were random times before when I would up my fiber with a supplement for a few days and I felt better but never out two and two together until recently. I am now taking fiber everyday and it has been doing wonders.
Having my surgery on Nov. 6th. So excited!!!

From what u have SIBO? Medicatiom like PPI / Ranitidine?
@@henokhefradsaputro3585 Sorry I don’t understand your question
Hey man, you mentioned in this video about wanting your life back and wanting to be able to have a few drinks with friends and be able to breathe the next morning. That is how I was every morning with alcohol and now since January I suspect its a hiatal hernia bad that it got to the point where one beer would make me short of breath and now I don't even attempt because of heartburn and SOB. the hardest part for me is getting diagnosis. I have an endoflip coming up soon. Are you able to drink now? Smoking would be a big no no for me as well. You just sound very similar to me with the globus throat feeling as well. I have a gas that comes up and feels weird in my throat then instantly makes me dizzy
@@DF__1900 Yea I drink some once every two weeks or three weeks. Not often. Sorry to hear brother. It’s a very hard thing to go through and I feel your pain.
You had shortness of breath prior right? Was waking up from surgery instant relief on symptoms?
@@DF__1900 I didn’t wake up with shortness of breath anymore but I wouldn’t say instant. But I only got the partial fundoplication
@@TheBounceBack1996 do you have terrible gas like other people? Because of the surgery
@@DF__1900 no
@@DF__1900 I do have some gas but I believe that is from my motility issues rather than my surgery itself.
Can i ask what were your symptoms
@@julieve7936 when it started I had very bad stomach pain and nausea. After years of being on the proton pump inhibitor my symptoms were lots of mucus, throat clearing, coughing and breathing issues.
How long you can back to job after surgery?
@@henokhefradsaputro3585 About two months. But I didn’t go back until I was comfortable enough because for my job at the time I have 20lbs of additional weight on me and it can be physically demanding.
@@TheBounceBack1996 thankyou for answering I really appreciate. I have a heartburn everynight and belching in the morning. My pH metri was GERD, so what do u feel now?? Heartburn go away? And how about ur throat clearing now?
@@henokhefradsaputro3585 My recent videos cover those topics. I’ve been documented the journey In its entirety and I plan to even after I’m completely back to normal.
I hope you do well , I had the same procedure and mine has now come undone ...pure hell I would really advise staying away from alcohol for atleast a year and no straining or heavy lifting for a year as well .I promise you it coming undone is worse than everything before having the procedure. It is a god aweful condition and its ashame that they haven't found something better that actually works and isn't just a bandaid that will cause other issues.
i have same symptoms the throat clearing and thicker saliva
@@hackattackanddefence4471 Sorry to hear that brotha. Keep seeking answers. Somethings gotta give!

I feel like gerd is by far one of the worst diseases. I have it, i got it at 30 years old. I have not taken any ppis I've been just surviving by intermediate fasting, probiotics, and dgl. I stop eating at 12pm and only drink water. For some reason i can drink beer, but not coffee. My symptoms are a globus sensation in my thoat i am getting use to the throat symptoms. @@sidmak198 The surgery made me have no sour taste and my mouth and no burning. I have given up ppis completely. The only thing that remains is still throat clearing and mucus. Which I believe is from gut motility issues and sibo. Currently working on that as well.
@@TheBounceBack1996 have you tried homeopathy it helped me with my lpr and throat clearing symptoms, hope you get to a 100 percent real soon
Hi. I saw a few of your prior videos talking about consuming alcohol again and eating pretty much whatever you want. I've read that the effects from lpr can take up to 6 months or more to heal. I would think if you're consuming inflammatory food and drink before your larnyx and esophagus has fully healed that your throat sx could certainly come back. After all, whether it's from reflux or an acidic beverage - it will still effect your esophagus on the way down, causing all the same sx.
What was done at ER to help your throat?

I think I lifted about two months after surgery. Was not a problem. My doctor was conservative with giving me that much time to heal.
@@TheBounceBack1996 Thanks for the reply :) Will definitely lift again after the recovery time. At the moment swallowing is really hard for me, even when I eat small bites and chew good. Did you have the same problems first days after surgery? Best regards 🙏🏼
@@joshuazms4788 My swallowing was fine but I’d have issues with air bubbles coming back up. My doctor had me on a liquid diet for a very long time after surgery. I hear sometimes peoples doctors give them the green light for solid foods more quickly. But I also got the partial fundoplication not the full one.
I, too, have zero quality of life, damned reflux destroyed it, lost my health, my job,, a future career i was training for and passionate about, my home, had to move in with a friend, can't live here permanently, makes me nervous being in a temporary living situation if I don't get better don't know where I'll go. Had the misfortune of being single when this condition got me, so don't have that loving support of a partner, being alone throughout this whole ordeal has made it a nightmare. You're lucky you have a gf you are such a great guy you deserve it, glad you didn't have to go through this by yourself. Wouldn't wish it on my worst enemy.
Hey! Im sorry you’re going through this. Keep exploring every single option and be your best advocate. You cannot leave it up to these doctors. If you haven’t seen my recent on sibo, perhaps check that out as it appears to have been the root cause for me. I am hopeful you will get to the bottom of this. Please let me know if you have any questions. I’m no doctor but I can speak from what most lack and that is first hand experience.
I always think of your struggle ! Because I’m struggling as well. Thank you for sharing your story! I met couple of people struggling as well in re-edit and we created a group support in what’s app and share our symptoms. I shared your video with them ! Thank you!
I can relate to you we have some things in common I had made it through Citizens Police Academy last year with LPR no pain fro. Reflux just sinusitis and eustachian tube clogged, prayed I wouldnt get Gerd, but then January some heartburn a few times then never again H Pylori infection gastritis antobiotics cleared that up but then just constant acid reflux into my throat burning like hell ER trips and hospital did an endoscopy showed esophagitis and a sliding hernia that was causing the symptoms of acid in throat wound up in ER so many times and lost so much weight I was afraid of starving to.death, I couldnt eat anything or I'd wind up in the hospital. I had thought the H.Pylori caused the LPR/GERD but I had managed to see a GI specialist and got a referral for surgery which the surgeon thinks the hernia caused the LPR amd GERD so maybe the H.Pylori was a coincidence or aggravated it, there is a chicken or the egg thing like does the hernia cause the reflux or the reflux damage the LES and cause the hernia, guess ill never know but main thing is to get it under control , had a partial wrap last week still recovering just went from liquids to soft foods and so much younsay resonates with me i had to quit my job because of it, i also worried a partial wrap wouldnt get rid of my symptoms i was disappointed the surgeon wouldnt do a full wrap inwas willing to take the risks to keep acid out of my throat and i alway felt like the full wrap is done more often for a reason, that its more secure but i had to trust my surgein he didnt want the problems that come with a full wrap and i think like you I can see if the partial wrap and it it doesnt work i can convert to a full wrap which may be easier to do than the kther way around. When you say dont give up and keep fighting thats why i watch you because you have the closest situation to mine and give me the inspiration i need. So far no reflux with my partial wrap but atill have my LPR symptoms but now that reflux is under control at least they won't get worse and yes Jamie Koufman is good i watch her too and take her advice on LPR, no/low acid diet akyline water, famotidine and gaviscon handy, nasal spray. As lomg as the LPR doesnt get worse i could live with it as lomg as the partial wrap keeps acid out of my throat but if it starts creeping back up i hope i can get a full wrap even though i dread the idea of going through surgery again. Have you wished there was a high tech way to fix it without surgery i wonder if we are still in the dark ages with this and in the future we will only have to have a laser beam zapped into our LES area and fixes everything, the hernia, the valve, etc. Just the fact that like you said most doctors and even specialists and surgeons dont even know about LPR or believe it is a thing, ( i had an ER doctor look at me like i.was crazy when i told her my acid/pepsin? is so bad its affected my ears) or that its not just acid but pepsin and ppi wont work for that so that shows we still have a long way to go..When i see the small number of views on your videos i got worried youd get discouraged and stop making videos until you said in this ome that you wont let sub/view count influence you and i was so relieved Thank you for continuing to make these videos and for the right reasons, not about subs and monetizing but documenting your journey and helping people. Ive probably watched every acid reflux channel and video out there and yours is most important to me because you have the closest most similar case/symptoms/experiences/opinions/feelings to mine. A big thank you and keep it up! Sorry about the typos.
