I understand how you feel because iam also sailing in the same boat. Like you I was also passionate about my job and i was hard working. Because of this indigestion issue, I quit my career. Indigestion not getting cured after so many health checkups for more than a year and being jobless is bringing down mental strength.
My prayers for you to get well soon. After watching the video, I feel Iam not alone. Thanks for sharing your experience.

Thank you for your comment! Has anything helped your issue so far? I’m still in the middle of it but might be getting anti reflux surgery depending on the results of the 24 hour ph test.

      @@TheBounceBack1996 Please ensure
      1. You don’t have H.pyroli - tested using endoscopy
      2. Enzyme levels are normal- (amylase, lipase) tested using blood test
      3. You don’t have other bacteria - could test it using stool complete test and stool culture test
      4. You don’t have low stomach acid - I tested it at home using baking soda stomach acid test
In my 1 year struggle with burping, this is the knowledge I have gained. There may be other reasons. I believe, since we know our body, what we ate and how it all started.… educating ourself and ofcourse taking medications with doctor’s consultation would help.

I feel you man I have had reflux bad for the past 5 months I feel like most doctors just keep pushing these acid reducer meds which cause more issues. They gave me bad anxiety and insomnia, I told the doctors to get me off the ppi which made me happy I have reflux at times but no where near as bad I think most issues from reflux are not the hyperactivity of acid but the lack of acid in the stomach which causes the les to relax and let up acid. I noticed that when I ate then drank a some acv diluted water it helped me have less reflux. Also taking probiotics, magnesium glycinate, and zinc carnosine. I have been trying natural options with the use of Pepcid if absolutely necessary and I’ve gotten a little better not 100% healed but better than 5 months ago. I have also seen that the keto diet or carnivore diet have helped tons of people with reflux I haven’t tried that yet but I’ve noticed carbs seem to make things worse for me which is what most doctors recommend to eat, grains, veggies, nuts, etc.

I, too, have zero quality of life, damned reflux destroyed it, lost my health, my job,, a future career i was training for and passionate about, my home, had to move in with a friend, can't live here permanently, makes me nervous being in a temporary living situation if I don't get better don't know where I'll go. Had the misfortune of being single when this condition got me, so don't have that loving support of a partner, being alone throughout this whole ordeal has made it a nightmare. You're lucky you have a gf you are such a great guy you deserve it, glad you didn't have to go through this by yourself. Wouldn't wish it on my worst enemy.

Hey! Im sorry you’re going through this. Keep exploring every single option and be your best advocate. You cannot leave it up to these doctors. If you haven’t seen my recent on sibo, perhaps check that out as it appears to have been the root cause for me. I am hopeful you will get to the bottom of this. Please let me know if you have any questions. I’m no doctor but I can speak from what most lack and that is first hand experience.

A lot of people find a ton of relief with carnivore diet

Yea unfortunately that didn’t help me too much. The big thing for me was just eating very very little and waiting a long time before I even lay down. Also I found onion and garlic powder or in any form are huge triggers for me.

    Dizziness? Or dry eyes?

    • @TheBounceBack1996
      @TheBounceBack1996  Рік тому +1

Sup man, yea I have dizziness but not dry eyes. My advice to you is to do all the testing and get a definitive answer. I was Mr tough guy for too long and didn’t go to the doctor enough and do the testing they suggested so now I’m paying the price. Best of luck and let me know if you have anymore questions.

So I’ve done pretty much all the testing. And found out I have Barrett’s with no dysplasia. And it’s short and under 1cm so have to rechecked in 5 years. 😅 the weirdest part about all this is I’ve never had heart burn till I started taking PPI’s I only started taking the PPI’s due to the LPR. is your dizziness all day long? Almost feel like some of these symptoms are the PPI’s

@@guntalk90 I definitely feel more energy when I’m off the PPI’s but I went off of them for 5 days in a row in September and I got really bad heartburn when I was off of them.

Sweet potatoes are the worst for me. Also rice!
