Randy's Ramblins - Randy Bowles Bonus Channel
Приєднався 23 тра 2023
You've found my bonus channel! I have so much to share. I already have a music channel and a spoken word/storytelling channel. Well, I decided to make one more, so I could share more videos, without inundating my subscribers on those other channels. This will probably be an all-music channel. We shall see. Please subscribe, to be notified when I make a new video. And thank you! It's due to the success of my current channels that I feel like I can go ahead and make one more.
At times I post new original songs here to see if anyone likes them; and if they do then I put them on my main channel, which is Randy "Jimmie James" Bowles.
When We Don't Get Along - Original Song By Randy Bowles
I actually wrote this for my cat, Beastie Boy, a once (and forever?) feral cat. He bit me a few days ago, and I told him how much it hurt me when we don’t get along. Well, I remembered some of my words, and I put them in this song. Yes, it’s somber. That’s why it’s on my “Channel Two”. I know you folks give me latitude in my songwriting. - It could just as easily be about human beings. In fact, that would be a lot more logical. But yes, it’s written for my cat. And yes, I’m worried about him. I have to have a cat in my life. BB is all I’ve got. And he deserves a chance at living in a home rather than a barn. But he needs to come around…
This song is kind of in the Willie Nelson style. I had the pleasure of playing with him here in Seattle; I admit he is an influence. Lyrics are in the pinned post.

Lit! - Original Beatnik Poetry With Bongo Drums By Randy Bowles
Переглядів 104 години тому
For those who enjoy my spoken word creations, here is a brand new one, and it incorporates bongos. Total beatnik vibe here... . I wrote this on October 22, 2024. While quite a few of my songs and poems are self-referential, this one is not. The character I write about and portray here is quite a big more lit than yours truly! This is tongue in cheek; hope you like it. Words are in a pinned post.
Bring The Fire - Original Song By Randy Bowles

How many days do you have left to live? How many days to I have? How many more opportunities will we have to give our all our 100% to help other's lives be better? I hope this song encourages you to Bring The Fire. And most importantly, to Bring The Goodness. The words came to me in a matter of minutes. Like automatic writing. I hope you like it and will share it. Thank you! Lyrics in a pinned ...

EXCLUSIVE TO THIS CHANNEL: OK, help me out here? What style would you call this song? I have no idea! I just write what comes to me... Is it folk, or 60s music, or 70s music? Should I just call it singer-songwriter music? I refuse to call it "easy listening". I put way way too much time on writing the lyrics to call it that. I can say that I referenced several songs from my song cycle, "Homage ...

EXCLUSIVE TO THIS CHANNEL: Here's some Gospel Blues for you. I just found these lyrics on my computer. I don't even remember writing them. But I put them to a melody this evening and video'd the results for you. It's kind of like a prayer a preacher would say. My Daddy was a preacher on Sunday and an actual rock and roll disk jockey on weeknights. This is for him: Al Bowles Jr. Lyrics in the pi...

EXCLUSIVE TO THIS CHANNEL: On 9/19/24, I was honored to collaborate with four wonderful Seattle community entities to present an evening of film and music in a park in my Uptown Seattle neighborhood. My friend, photographer Al McCutchan made this video of a boogie-blues number I wrote recently about building community. A great song for the occasion. The wind picked up and blew my sheet music ar...
I’m A Happy Cloud In A Sky Of Blue - By Randy Bowles

My new song is written in the style of the Great American Songbook. I think it’s a good follow-up to my last effort, which was “Her Beauty Shamed The Fairest Flower”. This song is from the point of view of a person who has passed on and wants to let you know that all is well. It’s somber but not sad. - Not meant to be sad, anyway. I wrote it in the style of the late 30s-to-mid-50s simply becaus...

I Want To Die In The Fall - Alternate "Tin Can Guitar" Version - By Randy Bowles
Переглядів 602 місяці тому
EXCLUSIVE TO THIS CHANNEL: This is an alternate take of the song I posted on my main "Randy Jimmie James Bowles" channel today. On this version I used my "tin can guitar". A large part of it is metal. It sounds like a tin can with strings. It really gives a song that vintage blues sound. Well, this one was written in the style of vintage blues, so it all makes sense... I love to write in the bl...
Her Beauty Shamed The Fairest Flower - Flatpicked Version - By Randy Bowles
Переглядів 1262 місяці тому
EXCLUSIVE TO THIS CHANNEL - ALTERNATE VERSION. I use a flatpick, and I strum here rather than fingerpick. In this one, she dies! - I didn’t set out to kill her off; but my Folk-Rock Queen meets her demise here. The song wrote itself. Its key line came in a dream. I dreamed a beautiful young woman was sitting nearby while I sang and played for her. I started improvising this song for her. Then… ...

My new song expresses my strong desire to help Kamala Harris and other amazing women bring us further into the light and further away from darkness. I worked my behind off on this one. All I had was the title. I had to piece this together over several days a very difficult jigsaw puzzle. This is my gift to the Movement. Find my lyrics in a pinned comment.
Alvina (Banjo Pickin’ Gal) - Original Old-Timey Music By Randy Bowles
Переглядів 743 місяці тому
This old-timey style original song is dedicated to my more adventurous listeners who don't mind me writing in lots of different genres. It’s about a real banjo-pickin’ gal I met in Seattle when I was playing folk concerts at a Capitol Hill coffeehouse called Black Coffee Coop. Beginning in 2012, I played 17 shows there in 17 months. Then, they were pushed out by gentrification. But one night, a...

By the way friends if you can help me land one of my songs with an established artist or band, that would be incredible. I would more than love to get off of food stamps. It seems like I would be able to pay my own way with songs like I write. I spend 10 hours a day working on my music -- writing, recording, performing live, working on my gear...

When We Don't Get Along - By Randy Bowles Please forgive what I just said. I would rather be struck dead, Than lose you. And I know that you didn’t mean, To say all those hurtful things. I know you love me. Let’s put aside our fighting, Turn the page and then Start writing, A new chapter in our lives. I’ll do what I can, To be a better man. I know we can get along. You can’t know how it affects me, You can’t know How much it wrecks me. When we don’t get along. When I fight with my best friend, When it looks like things will end, It tears me up. When we don’t get along, Everything seems wrong, In all creation. I’ll do what I can, To be a stand-up man. I know we can get along. Do you think That we could take a walk, Do you think that we could Have a talk, And start again anew. I just want to make amends, Recognize we are best friends, And keep on loving you. Let’s put aside our fighting, Turn the page and then Start writing, A new chapter in our lives. I’ll do what I can, To be a better man. I know we can get along.
Lit! - By Randy Bowles I’m lit, And I don’t mind a bit. I’d hate to be a Bumpy old log. The life of the party, A little smarty, The foghorn in the fog. It’s not on purpose, This three ring circus, Of a life that I live in. I try to keep still, But it’s such a thrill, When i act up, act out, grin! Who wants to be a square, When this rare air -- Is waiting to be inhaled? If I don’t shock someone At least once a day, I feel like Ifailed. If you see me skippin On down the street, I’m just moving to My own beat. You can shuffle along, If that’s your song, I’ll dig this life so sweet. If you hear me laughin, And it seems out of place, You forget - I’m from outer space. So please don’t ask me, Please don’t task me, To join your particular Human race! I’m lit, And I don’t mind a bit. Thank you! I hope it gives you some inspiration and hope for your future. I listened to some of your songs and you are a born wordsmith. Here is one more for you: ua-cam.com/video/zbp1cr0JY5k/v-deo.html&ab_channel=Randy%27sRamblins-RandyBowlesBonusChannel
@ inspiring stuff there my friend, thanks for sharing 😎
Nice one man ✌🏻
Thank you. I can hear this one with an English rock band filling in all the parts. If I did have a band, I would really rock this one out. It's kind of a dark sounding song with positive lyrics.
Bring The Fire - By Randy Bowles Bring the fire, Bring the passion. Bring the love, And the compassion. Bring the beauty, Bring the grace. Share it with, The human race. Bring the wisdom, Bring the light. Bring the fairness, Bring what’s right. Bring a smile, That lights your face. Share it with, The human race. Milk the moment, Milk the sweet. Share it with, Everyone you meet. Milk the kindness, For all it’s worth. Spread the joy, To all the earth. Bring the music, Bring the art. Bring it with, A grateful heart. Bring the goodness, In every case. Share it with, The human race.
You have a beautiful song ,a beautiful voice and a beautiful guitar sound. Also, I am also from the 1960s. 😊
You are the best. I live to rite and play music. I'm blessed to get about one gig a week here in Seattle. That's more than a lot of young players here get. But of course, I want them to get gigs too! Gigs for everyone, I say...
Holy-smoke, what a beautiful performance. I am your newest subscriber. 😊
Thank you! What is it that you like about it, if I may ask? Would you call this 60s music? I'm not sure h=what genre it is. It just came to me...
Note: I've posted a new video, as I've written a part 2 to this song, with lots more verses. Here is a link to that: ua-cam.com/video/A5nxAY9mQbY/v-deo.html&ab_channel=Randy%27%22JimmieJames%22Bowles
Great job Randy
Thank you so much. This is my "stealth" channel where I put songs that I like; but that I don't think are going to get many views. And I'm right - it has not. But if you like it then you made my day. I played it a few times live in the last week, and folks like it. :) Regarding my main channel -- here is a link to a playlist of 90 originals: ua-cam.com/play/PLZJXx5FErYdievc3kYa8ZXOVc47P1PvMR.html Thank you again, and Blessings, Tom.
A bright and airy sounding song to bring the summer to an end and usher in the autumn. ✌🏻
Thank you for that great description. When I use C Maj 7 chords as the root of a song, I try my best to not make it sound stereotyped. It's hard. I worked on it a long time. This is just one of my B list songs; but it insisted on emerging. I'm working on one now called Bring The Fire that will have that New Orleans/Iko Iko beat.
Nothing Can Touch Your Love - By Randy Bowles Nothing can touch your love. No one kinder has ever lived. I’ll give you everything I have to give. You were born with such goodness. Blessed with the kindest heart. No one in my life has Played a bigger part. I was born to be forever by your side. To share an endless love That will abide. Nothing can touch your love. You’re the best there ere will be. Who would have dreamed You’d give your love to me. Nothing can touch your love. When all is said and done. How in the world could you Think I was the only one? I was fated to be forever in your arms. To share the kind of love That keeps us safe from harm. Here we are a-walking, Walking hand in glove. If it’s a dream, let me dream. Nothing can touch your love. My walk with you gets sweeter, Sweeter every day. My affection for you Is more than a song can say. I’m blessed to be forever by your side. To share an endless love That will abide, will abide. Nothing can touch your love.
Irish people like to make fun of us for thinking of Ireland so magically 😂 but if you're Irish-American you just can't help it from time to time haha. Great song Randy!
Animals,plants too,not just humans
Well I've been near-vegan for exactly 50 years, and I adopted a feral cat -- my 4th -- he bit me today and I had to go to the doctor). So I think the animals would be happy with me. However, I do eat the plants. I can't eat gravel! ;) So did you like my song, or not? ;) I can't tell by your comment. I can tell you this: I work my ass off on these songs and then give them away for free. Here is a link to my main channel, where you'll find nearly 100 original songs: www.youtube.com/@randyjimmiejamesbowles
Everybody Needs A Home - By Randy Bowles Everybody needs a home. A special place, To call their own. A place where they Can lay their head. A quiet space, A comfy bed. Homelessness Is not a crime. Folks lose housing All the time. One paycheck From poverty. This can happen To you and me. Let’s work together, Find our role. To house us all, That is our goal. Imagine no roof O’er your head. Imagine being Barely fed. Say a prayer, Give some money. This is the land Of milk and honey. Is that true For everyone? If it’s not, Our work’s not done.
Positivity all the way man!✌🏻✌🏻
Thank you Steve! I'll get to debut it tonight in our historic district for what could turn out to be a good crowd. The thing is literally about 24 hours old. Then, when I get home I'm going to publish my new Beatnik song on my main channel. Please look for it early on your Friday. It's called I Don't Give A Fig.
@@RandysRamblins-RandyBowl-jb9ou have a great gig brother ✌🏻
@@thestevesociety3331 it was surrealistically good. I finally was in a listening environment, and I have to say the reception was amazing. .All original songs, loud applause, requests for me to repeat the songs, new followers, big paycheck. 20 year olds videoing me ll night long. And I made friends with a great artist (her work is this month's featured exhibit at Foggy Tea/Gallery) who also plays music, named Rebecca. We will probably do something together soon.
Divine Road Map - By Randy Bowles Help me represent, All that is good. To live as you intended, To live as I should. Help me be a beacon, To do what’s right. Help me be a leader, A guiding light. Won’t you help me represent, The best that I can be. I never thought to be a leader, Would be my destiny. If there’s something I can say, Something I can do, Help me not to hold back, But to come through. It’s true that I’m not perfect, But I try my level best. Time and time again, I fail the test. The only thing to strive for, The only thing do, The only thing to do, Is to come through. I want to build a better world, Bring about a brighter day. To represent, inspire. To help folks find the way. To carry out this mission, That’s fallen in my lap. Give me direction, A divine road map.
Kind People - By Randy Bowles Kind people Don’t tell you who to be. They know folks Need to be free. They look for bridges They can build. Kind people Want bellies filled. Kind people Don’t tell you how to pray. They don’t say Theirs is the only way. They don’t tell you Who to love. Kind people Don’t push and shove. Let’s work together Lift everybody up. So everyone drinks From the loving cup. Kind people They don’t tell you What books to read. Kind people know Kids need to learn. They know books Should not be burned. Kind people see We’re in the same boat. They don’t make it Harder to vote. You don’t have to do Just like they do. Kind people know You have the right to choose. Let’s vow to build community. To join together in unity.
Note: I've simultaneously published this new song entitled Kind People, on my other, Randy "Jimmie James" Bowles channel. Please check it out: ua-cam.com/video/GQh8tjCHSy4/v-deo.html&ab_channel=Randy%27%22JimmieJames%22Bowles
Lyrics By Randy Bowles I’m a happy cloud In a sky of blue. I’m watching Out for you. Don’t cry because my Days are through. Nothing beats this sky of blue. Wave to me When I pass by. I just changed shapes I didn’t die. I’ve got a twinkle In my eye. A happy cloud In a blue blue sky. A happy cloud In a blue blue sky. I won’t rain on your parade, Won’t block the sun Less you need shade. If you get showers, That’s not me. I’m as happy as can be. I no longer feel the pain. I no longer know the strain. All my cats are here with me, Purring through eternity. All my cats are here with me, Purring through eternity. I rose above my Human failings. In the atmosphere i’m sailing. I hope I was a friend to you. My silver lining is my love for you. My love for you… I’m a happy cloud in a sky of blue. Counting the days waiting for you. We’ll float above the folks we love, Think happy thoughts, To see them through. They’ll wave to us as we pass by. We changed shapes we didn’t die. We’ve got a twinkle in our eye. Two happy clouds in a blue blue sky. Two happy clouds in a blue blue sky. Two happy clouds in a blue blue sky.
I originally made this for my Randy "Jimmie James" Bowles channel, and decided to share it here. Thank you, everyone.
I Want To Die In The Fall (So The Leaves Cover Up My Bones) - By Randy Bowles I want to die in the fall, So the leaves cover up my bones. I wanna hear that autumn wind, As it cries and moans. Let it sing me to sleep When I’m six feet deep. I won’t have to count no sheep. I want to die in the fall, So the leaves can cover my bones. No let me die in the spring, So I can hear that robin sing. Let me die in the spring So I can hear that robin sing. Let the daffodils grow over me. Prettiest things I ever did see. Let me die in the spring, So I can hear that robin sing. Let me die in the winter, Let the snow cover up my mound. Let it pile up, As I am heaven bound. Not a creature is stirring, The earth’s asleep. My bones are lyin in a heap. Let me die in the winter, Let the snow cover up my ground. Can I die in the summer, So the sun shines down on me. Keep me warm as I sleep for All eternity? Wanna lie underneath that Blue blue sky. Hey now Baby don’t you cry. Let me die in the summer, So the sun shines down on me. Summer winter spring or fall, I guess it don’t matter much at all. But when the seasons change, Baby won’t you think of me. When the seasons change, Baby won’t you think of me.
Sad, but a beautiful tribute in memory ✌🏻
Her Beauty Shamed The Fairest Flower - By Randy Bowles I met her on a summer Sunday, Fell in love with her on Monday. Tuesday told me I had found my mate. Her red hair streamed down Past her hips. Strawberries paled next to her lips. To live a life together Seemed our fate. Her beauty shamed the fairest flower. A day with her felt like an hour. I couldn’t wait to be with her again. Her passion fed my heart’s fire. Her favor was my one desire. I could never find a better friend. For me she was the only one. I lay with her when day was done. We dreamed our dreams together Arm in arm. We thought we’d found unending joy. A village girl a country boy. We thought we were forever Safe from harm. Her beauty shamed The fairest flower. I built for her The finest bower. I caught for her the stars The sun the moon. Golden rings hung from her ear, Birdsong made her Shed a tear. Why did her passing Have to come so soon? My heart became an empty space, When shadows fell upon her face. And angels took her To her place of rest. Her beauty shamed the fairest flower. But death robbed her of all Her power. Creation lost the brightest And the best.
Love your lyrics, Randy! Life makes you fall sometimes, but the most important thing is to get up again! 😊
Exactly. You and I both know that so well, Hanni! -- This one, like the other one I published yesterday, is going nowhere fast. But I keep trying. I've got two more songs ready to go. I just have to "parcel them out", or they too will go unnoticed!
Love it Randy!
Thank you much! This is my "Channel 2" where I share my extra songs. They often come in bunches, and I can't put them all onto my main channel, or I would drive folks nuts. The name of my main channel, where you can find 82 of my original songs, is this: Randy "Jimmie James" Bowles Channel :)

Life Is A Relay Race - By Randy Bowles Life is a relay race, You’re handed a baton. You run with it, Then you pass it on. It takes great effort, To do your part. Most of all it takes a willing heart. You’re part of a team, Not on your own. You’ll have help with the baton Until you’re grown. Then it’s your turn to run, Fly down the track. Carry it forward, With the wind at your back. Progress is measured, One step at a time. It doesn’t happen, On the turn of a dime. Carry that baton hold it high, It’s your turn to show how Fast you can fly! You may stumble, You may even fall. Some-times you’ll feel Like you hit the wall. Get your second wind, Don’t let it get you down. You were born to run, You were meant to carry on. When you’re much older, When you reach the end, Hand it off to the one Who’ll take it round the bend. And if you’ve run your hardest, With all your heart, -you’ll rest assured You did your part. Life is a relay race, You’re handed a baton. You run with it, Then you pass it on. -it takes courage, To do your part.
It's very funny to me that the companion song that inspired this one, got 10 views here ("Dear Sisters"). And this one got over a hundred in 17 hours! Well, Dear Sisters is hovering at a hundred on my main channel, which is called: Randy "Jimmie James" Bowles channel. Here is link to it: ua-cam.com/video/C0LvBi9L9Zg/v-deo.html&ab_channel=Randy%27sRamblins-RandyBowlesBonusChannel
Positivity will win out in the end, no matter how big or small!
Thank you Steve! This came in a flash and I slipped it in here on Channel Two, just to get it out there. I need to play it a few times live, to nail it, and then I may rerecord it and put it on my main channel. I have a new one for my main channel, for this Thursday -- the one about being a beatnik. I got really lucky on that one; all the words came together. I hope you will like it! But I'm glad you liked this one. I'm trying to keep the momentum going here in the States for Kamala et all.
keep goin Randy!
Lyrics: All this goodness, It’s starting to grow. I feel it from head to toe. Change is coming at Such a pace. I see smiles All over the place. All this goodness I feel it grow. I see it everywhere i go. People laughing full of joy. Hope for every girl and boy. People dancing In the street, The taste of freedom Is oh so sweet. We’ve had enough Of the arguments. The time has come for Common sense! Strong men turn out To be weak. Their lion’s roar Is a mouse’s squeak. Who cares what A bully thinks? What we need is Quiet strength. Facts are facts, Here’s one for you. We’re surfing a wave, It’s a beautiful blue. All this goodness Starting to grow. Bring it with you, Wherever you go. All this goodness, It’s starting to grow. I feel it from head to toe. Change is coming at Such a pace. I see hope for the human race. All this goodness!
Dear Sisters - By Randy Bowles Dear sisters I stand with you. I have faith you know what to do. You’ve got my vote I’ll join the call. The call for freedom and justice for all. Now more than ever, There’s a reason to say, Out with the old Bring in the new day. Raise your voice for freedom of choice, The future’s now it starts today. Dear sisters your time is here. I feel a change in the atmosphere. Bring the hope, Let the darkness be gone. Let the future begin, Bring on the dawn. Old fashioned ways have had their day It’s time for our sisters, To have their way. Gather your strength, Let the new day begin. Be the thunderclap and the whirlwind. Dear sisters, Lead us into the light. You’ve got comrades In this fight. The darkness ends With the light of day. Let your heart and passion Lead the way. Take your power March and shout, Be the change we need Throw the old guard out. You hold up more than half the sky, It’s time to raise your voices high. Dear sisters… Dear sisters…
GUYS PRAY FOR SAM AND COLBY THEY BEEN DECEIVED BY DEMONS AND ARE IN DANGER THEY ARE UA-camRS❤ God wouldnt allow souls to be trapped on earth, its umbilical and never happened all souls belong to God, so you cant sell your soul to the devil❤ And not everyone is a child of God jesus said it himself youre of your father the devil and your desires are to do his will true children of God are the ones who have been born again spiritually and repented from sin❤ So many people say they love God, but most of them never repented from sin and have a personal relationship with him, and love isnt just a feeling love is doing❤ Familiar spirits are demons well if I'm wrong I wasted nothing because I got peace and joy from him, but if you're wrong you wasted your entire life!! ❤️🎉 And demons love when people believe that lie that God doesn't exist and they love it when people don't know they are there ❤I copy n paste this everywhere❤ And no one talks about repentance, God will never lower his standards to be okay with your sins, sins is very serious in the eyes of God hes holy and righteous and it seperates us from him❤ Demons exist, and the devil comes to steal kill and destroy and uses people to do so❤ Btw telling the demon to stay doesnt do anything unless you have the holy spirit you arent safe. People: okay please stay this is your place❤ Demon: okay People: **leaves** Demon: **Goes with them anyway** Demons arent gonna make it obvious they are there so yeah. Demons are fallen angels that uses the form of our passed away loved ones to make us believe ghost exist and the souls of the person we knew still remains here❤❤ Astrology is demonic before my relationship with God I would always do zodiac signs literally just a bunch of sins put into each one I bet if everyone was sinless zodiac signs wouldn't make sense and literally a cover up for demons❤ Hearts are deceitful above all things, listen to God❤ Depression can be a demon you may need deliverance❤ God said unless you're born again spiritually u will not enter the kingdom of heaven also God doesn't judge us by our good works he's judging us by our sins Gods standards are so high he's that HOLY saying oh my God is using Gods name in vain it's called blasphemy ❤ To get to heaven you must believe with all your heart that Jesus died and rose again paid full price for your sins repent and receive his Holy spirit. UA-camrs I recommend Impact videos ministries David diga Hernandez IsaiahSaldivar Mapalo DLM christian lifestyle Billy garham Danial adams Living waters Mike Signorelli Okay now pray this to be saved and to get to heaven pray out loud Jesus I confess that you are my lord and savior I believe in my heart that God raised you from the dead I ask to receive your holy spirit and I repent of my sins with your help❤ by faith in your word I receive salvation now Thank you for saving me! I am now reborn a christian a child of almighty God I am saved thank you Jesus! *Be genuine when praying this* Watch videos on how to receive Gods holy spirit on YT God creates Jesus redeems The holy spirit changes Now our good deeds and works we think are good are like filthy rags in the eyes of God Things to get rid of in your home 1sage 2dream catchers 3crystals 4crystal ball 5ouija board 6 tarot and angel cards 7religious statues 8demonic movies music or video games 9soul times items 10pornography Now like a theif robbing a store, demons won't make it obvious they are there unless they have to. Now know you can't save yourself Jesus said I am the way the truth and the life You have insurance on your house if it ever caught on fire which rarely happens but when it comes to your soul, you play with it like you have forever to make your choice which you don't 150k+ people Die everyday and you never know when it may be you God spent 9 months shaping and forming you before you were born but only 7 days on earth you're fearfully and wonderfully made beautiful in the eyes of God❤ Don't waste time Hearts are deceitful above all things ask God for wisdom and understanding we are just tiny humans with a 3 pound brain and our imaginations cannot go beyond what we already know❤ Your souls is so valuable both Satan and God want it but it's your choice who you will serve You serve the devil when you Lie Hate Blasphemy Disobey Lazy Gossip Gluttony Wanting what others have cause what God has for you is for you he will never deliver your male to someone else's house Hate And unforgivness And cussing murder and more And once you die, you're locked with your choice of where you're spending eternity God doesn't care about you doing more good then bad cause he's not judging that God never said that's the way to heaven So who's lying you or God? Be serious about this❤ God is holy and righteous God is love So either you would play around because you don't believe hell exist or you don't believe you're going there but the bible makes it very clear The path to destruction is wide and easy many are on it the path to eternal life is hard and nerrow very few find it and to get into heaven u can only enter through the nerrow gate❤ You dont have to wait until you die to know if youre going to heaven you can know right now 100% where youre going❤ Satan doesnt rule hell this is a myth when lucifer known as satan now became prideful and rebelled against God he took many angels with him Demons are fallen angels we live in a spirital and physical world so hell was made for punishment for satan and his angels and the reason why people go there is because they Align themsleves with the devil in SIN! Sin separates us from God and the wages of sin is death if youre found guilty with one sin on judgment day you will not enter the kingdom of heaven so the thing is We us humans broken Gods law and jesus paid the fine! So the good news is you dont have to go to hell if you accept him as your lord and savior! God offered us eternal life as a free gift and you receive it by faith! You dont have to work for it you dont have to pay all you have to do is receive it by faith❤ Don't expect Gods best when you always give him your least don't reject him anymore let him come in and change your life❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
What a foot tapper! Old time music is ace
Thanks Steve! I've been tried for years to turn this idea into a song; finally did it. I would love to run into the fair Alvina and see how she's doing 12 years later. I just sneaked this song onto UA-cam via the back channel, because I didn't want it to go unheard.
Here are my lyrics: Alvina (Banjo Pickin’ Gal) - By Randy Bowles I blew in to Seattle, Fresh out of Pasadena. Met a banjo-pickin gal, The beautiful Alvina. Alvina loved the banjo, I’d say she took to it. She made it talk, made it sing, She was born to do it. When she looked into my eyes, I was taken by her. It wasn’t just her banjo pickin, Set my heart on fire. Been to the north, Been to the south, You know I’ve never seen a, Sweeter banjo pickin gal, Than the beautiful Alvina. From Tonopah to Yakima, Raleigh to Alta Dena. There’s no gal can compare, To the beautiful Alvina. I had a date with Mary Ann, She played the concertina. Couldn’t stop thinkin Of my banjo gal, The beautiful Alvina. You can have your Dolly, Emmylou, Wynona and Martina. I’ll take my 5-string Pluckin gal, The beautiful Alvina.
Excellent original my friend sounds fantastic great job love it ❤😊
Thank you. Started this one 41 years ago; found it in my notebook, and finally figure it out! I played it live last night at my concert, and folks liked it. It's WAY different from my "normal' writing.
@@RandysRamblins-RandyBowl-jb9ou but came out great 👍
@@JefLBoyd2312 Thanks so much. :) I would so love to do it with an acoustic jazz combo. I've only played with one other musician in 20 years, once! I need some musicians!
Violins And Candlelight - By Randy Bowles Violins and candle light, Evoke the mood I’m in tonight. The feeling’s strong, The feeling’s right with you. Now you’re here so close to me, Your tender love has set me free. Take me where I want to be with you. The violins play soft and low, The candles shed an amber glow. This is the only love I know with you. Until the dawn brings soft sunlight, I’ll stay with you throughout the night. I only want to hold on tight with you. Violins and candle light, Evoke the mood I’m in tonight. The feeling’s strong, The feeling’s right with you. Dancing close to Samba sounds, My heart races leaps and bounds, The dance of life has just begun With you.
Sounds fantastic my friend excellent song, performance. Thank you Sub 20 ❤😊
Thank you -- again! This one required major surgery. ;) About a dozen near-total rewrites. -- I've created an entire playlist dedicated to this woman I'm writing about (just created it 2 days ago). And right now I'm finishing what will be the cornerstone song entitled Folk Rock Queen. Here's the playlist: ua-cam.com/play/PLZJXx5FErYdjDppOdf9_dFgF_M37dBfj7.html
Love songs are my favorites, since love is such a fascinating emotion. So thank you, Randy! 😊
Thank you! I rewrote this one about a dozen times. I used so much printer paper on it (I write by typing/printing/revising/typing/printing/revising/repeat). So yes, I used up half the ink in my printer. But I NAILED it! :) It was a job. :)
I wish someone would comment? I don't know if anyone cares if I do this or not...

What a groove, top tune. Look like you had fun playing/recording this one, and I bet it didn’t take too many attempts either ✌🏻✌🏻
My 60+ year old, 80 buck guitar thanks you. It languished for years and years, waiting to be brought back to life. And I treasure it. (I actually wrote the first draft of this song before I acquired the instrument -- prescient, I reckon.) I've tried since 2021 to turn this thing into a real song. Nothing I came up with seemed worth sharing. But very recently, having finally figured out how to write a song, I pulled it out of my folder where I keep song fragments, and I finished it. Last night I recorded a new country blues song called Drop Anchor Blues, another one I started and put down. I started it in 2006 and finished it a couple of days ago. -- Now, it's one that I really like. -- After I got done recording it, I had a few minutes left before it was 10 pm, which is when they make rowdy boys like me get quiet in this senior bldg. So I grabbed the music to this one and gave it a shot. I don't consider it one of my A-listers, so I posted it here on my back channel. And for you to like it just made my day. And my guitar's day. I hope you like Drop Anchor Blues when I put it on my main channel.
My Axe - By Randy Bowles I like my action high, My strings brand new. I like an old guitar, That’s tried and true. Don’t need a lot of gizmos, Don’t need a lot of gear. Just a good guitar, Like this one here. My axe… If it could talk, What tales it would tell. All beat up, But it plays so well. When it plays the blues, You’ll feel a natual chill. It’s got the mojo To cure your ills. My axe… I could have a fancy axe shiny & fine. But it wouldn’t have the sound that -- Blows minds. It wouldn’t have the history, It wouldn’t have the charm. It feels so good, Nestled in my arms. My axe… I picked it up 20 years ago. It was sittin in the window of a Thrift store. It called my name Love at first sight. Try to take if from me, You’re in for a fight. My axe… It’s played hundreds of shows, Thousands of songs. On this old man’s lap, Where it belongs. When i pack it up, When the show is through, You know we gave it our all, When we played for you. My axe… When i’m laid in the ground, For eternity, There’s one kind favor, I would ask of thee: Give this old axe to a girl or a boy. Tell ‘em old randy wishes them joy. My axe, my good old axe. My axe, my vintage axe.

great heartfelt tunes, Randy. Keep on doing the thing you love.
Thank you so much, Richard. The rollout, to use a silly music business term, of this video was a hot mess. I'm putting this new version on all 3 of my channels, so you may get more notifications. But thanks for letting me know you got notified here. I spent the last two days trying to fix this. Not nearly as much fun as playing the gig!
I would really love some comments and likes here. This is basically the ultimate thing I've done in my music career -- well, at least since 1975, when I tied for 4th place in the Grand Ole Opry's 50th Anniversary Talent Search. -- Do you like this? I worked my butt off!
Amen Randy! Love these lyrics! We need his grace comfort and his gifts! Love the bluesy feel!
Thank you my friend whom I haven't met in person! Blessings to you and yours from Seattle. If you ever come here please look me up?
Here are, first, the lyrics, and then at the bottom, a link to the electric version of this song. God’s Little Graces - By Randy Bowles God’s little graces Those heavenly gifts, Bring us joy, When our hearts need a lift. God’s tender mercies, Forgiveness and grace, Make this old world A brighter place. God’s little graces Sweet little gifts, Bring us comfort, When our souls need a lift. Here are a few, I wrote down in a song. I’m sure you’ve got a list, That’s twice as long. A child says hello, As you walk down the street. How could anything, anything Be that sweet? Little ones need, Our love and care. But they return it, In a double-share. A kitten crawls up upon your lap. Circles twice and takes a nap. Purring softly, snoozing away, That little kitty just Made your day. And… God’s little graces Unexpected gifts, Bring us joy when Our hearts need a lift. God’s tender mercies, Forgiveness and grace, Pay it forward to the whole human race. Your grandma takes you By your hand. Says you’d make grandpa A happy man. Right when you needed A kind word or two, Grandma knew it, And she came through for you. You slip and fall At the grocery store. You got a cut and your arm feels sore. A crowd of strangers, Comes to rescue you. Loving-kindness right out of the blue. At the drive-through, Picking up your meal, Not feeling great, Life gets so darn real. The woman at the window says No worries dude, The car in front of you Paid for your food. Singin’ about… Here's a link to the electric version: ua-cam.com/video/Z4rNiy8LlJk/v-deo.html&ab_channel=Randy%27%22JimmieJames%22Bowles
