I thought that was a different tractor, until you checked under the seat for the disengage lever. Then I saw the one with the CH on the seat.
Yep, different tractor. 🚜 A friend gave it to me because he was having some trouble with it, so I gladly accepted it 😁
"Vell vell vell.... That was dumb..." hahahha! I dunno Aron, I make the mowers talk, and have a fuel line clamp named Mr. Pinch.. So, uh...ya :) There's that..
Bahaha I saw the talking mower and Mr. Pinchy when I watched today 😆 Cracked me up!
Aron shocks his pregnant wife... Child born afterwards grows up to be exactly like Aron. Answers to many questions :D *ducks*
I know... that poor kid... 🤣🤣
I appreciate your creative problem solving. Congratulations to you and your wife.
Thanks Judge! And to clarify, my wife isn't pregnant hahah 😁 That was a story from many years ago. I don't think I could handle another pregnancy... lol
Dang-it! I guess the martini lunch hampered my comprehension.
@judgeguilty Bahaha! Sounds like an excellent lunch!! 🍻
I never liked these mini bikes because they look ugly in Facebook but when i counterone one in the junkyard i just had to buy it they sold it to me for 40 dollars and now im dying to get it running. Im going to call it my Frankinstein. ..
That's what I paid for this one at a garage sale! Haha Probably isn't worth much more now that it's running 😆 Good luck getting it running! It's fun to ride, but be careful turning with the dual rears. It's pretty awkward lol Have fun!
Hi Arron, pups, and family. SO glad you’re back!!!! I missed you! Not just the pups, lol😂! Nah, you know I love watching your vids!!! Especially when they are filled with all kinds of need to know information! I really enjoyed it all! Thanks for the update on Titan! Glad he’s getting some relief! He’s such a good boy with his sticks! But oh boy, your poor wife!!! Touching the electric fence with her prego belly was not a fun feat! That poor woman! Just lucky she didn’t go into labor or anything! What a story! You’ll have to tell which ever wonderful child that was, that they got an extra jolt of 💗 😅! I was getting worried about you not having a video! I was going to start sending stalking emails! lol! Looking forward to the part two!!!! Try to stay 😎 cool! And thanks for the entertainment!! 😊
Heyyyyy Debbieeeee! I know! This summer was so busy... sheesh. I ask other people how their summer went and I frequently hear "Summer? We had a summer?" I can't believe September is here already. Thank you for all of the kind words! You always have such nice things to say that brighten my day 😁🌞 Oh I know, that was not a good day. I guess we know a horse fence won't induce labor 🤣🤣 She's like "I felt the baby twitch!!!" Thankfully, SHE turned out pretty normal.... Except for the occasional tick that she has 🤔 Hahahah kidding! Thanks again 🙂 See you on the next one!
Keep them coming, thank you.
That's a big a** horse! 😜
You're dang right it is! The Gentle Giant 😁
Make a fast mower!!
🤔 I like your thinking... Ideas are churning
one more tip...thats all i got haha soak trimmer line in water ua-cam.com/video/MB0hM3-0RQE/v-deo.htmlsi=MZVQh8MWRMnM3hel&t=87
make it last much longer with this hack ua-cam.com/video/PWF3JuTHEhk/v-deo.html
I used your file trick on the diaphragm (didn't have the right one)... i have the 33cc version...thing runs line a banshee now haha. was flooding with gas before i filed it down (used the dremmel). I wish someone sold a carb kit that had all the styles, like 5-10 of each, but they have them cheap on ebay. I took off the spark arrestor screen on mine (muffler)...didn't see if you checked that. it maybe plugged on yours. you can also get a whole carb for 10 bucks. they have a bunch of attachments (edger, chainsaw, hedge trimmer). my brother in law gave up on it and went electric...free for me haha. the lil chainsaw thing works good with that extension for smaller limbs
That's awesome that it worked! Good call using a dremmel... Probably way easier than a hand file 😆 Yeah, I wish they would do that too. Then you're set for a while. I ran into an issue with my spark arrestor on my Stihl. I definitely removed it from that one. I should have tried that on this one... 🤔 But, I gave it away already lol I do have another power head I got from a free pile at a garage sale! I'll have to play with that one soon! Enjoy the freebie. They are the best 👌🏻 👍🏻 🍻
the poulin has the extension on it...for the chainsaw attachment. take that off and it won't be long...not needed for trimming grass
Thanks for the info! 🍻
Why did you replace the oil flicker why not just use the stock one?
Hello there! It's been a long time, but I believe the reason is that it isn't oriented in a way that will do a good job of slinging oil upward to the piston and valve train area. BUT, maybe we tear it apart, put the original back in and see if it will do the job? A project for down the road maybe? 🤔 Thanks for the comment!
This what ive been looking for. Think lot people are too
I had fun with this 🙂 Going to find a home for it someday! Thanks for the comment 🍻
Never ignore your dog. He has something of importance to present you.
Don't you worry, he gets lots of attention from all of us 🙂 Thank you for the comment and kind words 🍻 🐕
Spring nut
That wire runs to the stator and trigger coil under the flywheel you couldn't get off. You can open the e-box and disconnect them at the other end, which you have to do if you plan to put a new engine in and connect it. Whether a 300 is worth investing any money into is debatable since the 440 I had struggled to get anybody over 200lbs out of the water.
That's great info. Thank you! It was driving me nuts trying to figure out how to disconnect it. I've heard they aren't worth a whole lot, but he's pretty enthusiastic. Also less than 200 lbs lol We will see what happens. Thanks again!
@TractorFella I forgot I was on my personal google but I'll be building a 650 and posting videos to @idiotinagaragecny I'll have to run all the wires and everything
The exhaust valve guide has backed out. When it does, it develops a lip at the very end of the inside of the guide. The guide may gradually move back in a little bit, and hold the valve open. A good fix is to drive the valve guide back in and install an intake valve seal on the exhaust valve. The spring pressure will hold the valve guide in.
Hello there! Thanks for the comment. Someone else tried to warn me of that too, which I didn't take action on and the guide continued to back out until it cracked the rocker. Whoops! I fixed it in this episode... well... "fixed it" : ua-cam.com/video/TysGp6Sbjso/v-deo.htmlsi=ylsJ-SN2izV9F67K Thanks again!
File the rake tooth down
👍🏻👍🏻
Nice vid. That's a good find. I had to pay for my Poulan pole saw tree trimmer. It's also a PP28. I'm using your video to try reassembling the carb after it sitting for a while. Now the bulb will not fill... no fuel to the carb. Reversing the fuel lines had no effect. I guess the problem is in the carb, so I'll take it apart again and clean it better. You don't mention the fuel. Your fuel didn't appear mixed with 2-stroke oil. Was it mixed 50:1 as stated on the fuel cap?
Hello there - Thank you! Definitely challenged me on this one. I had trouble getting mine to prime as well. Bought a rebuild kit and that helped some. There are little flaps in the carb that act as check valves for the primer (I believe, don't quote me 😁) and they get old and don't flap anymore. A commenter in this video said you can just buy a new one for around $15 so maybe that's a possible option for you? Not sure the source. Probably Amazon haha Yep, I used mix. I use 89 octane recreation fuel (no ethanol) with Stihl oil at 50:1. Has worked well for me so far!! 🤞🏻🤞🏻 I appreciate the comment. Best of luck with your machine! 🍻
Thanks for your quick reply. I believed the problem was the plastic film with all the cut outs. Instead of the rebuild kit, I went with a carb for $15 from Amazon that should be here in a few days. Last year a carb for my Craftsman (Husqvarna) chainsaw was $55 from Jacks Small Engines. Guess I should have shopped around. The carbs are very similar. I always use non-E gas, but it doesn't seem to make a difference. I don't like emptying the unit. Here in central Texas we use our stuff year-around... pretty much. Need to try a fuel stabilizer additive next. Thanks Again!
Of course! Sounds like a good plan to me. I went with the rebuild kit, and it didn't work out very well. Then again, I'm not super experienced (if ya couldn't tell 😆). I hope the new carb works for you. Let me know how it goes! I could understand that being in Texas. I'm many miles north in the "mid-west" as they call it. I try to drain the gas and run them until they're empty before winter when I can, but more often, they stay with gas in them lol Can't say I've used many fuel stabilizers, but it's worth a try! Good luck!! 👍🏻🍻
Surprised that while you had it all apart, you did not check/clean/rebuild if necessary the carburetor. Lucky it did not need it.
Yep, I took my chances with that one. Good thing it paid off, or I probably would have had to rip it all apart again!
Check valve timing and inspect the head gasket if it ran lean there's also a possibility it's got A blown head gasket
After the valve adjustment it's been running like a top. We will see if the issue comes back. Thanks for the comment and advice! 🍻
This machine has points and condenser for the ignition system the Toro s-200 snow blowers have the points the toro s-620 snow blowers have electronic ignition so they always usually have spark
Funny the differences between models of the same manufacturer. Good info, thanks! 👍🏻👍🏻
I love watching motor tinkering. Love learning. You were pretty entertaining to watch. I have a Ryobi Pressure Washer but I dont think its a Honda Engine. Think its breaks N Scrap Em' engine.
Hi Aaron and family! So glad to hear you and the family had a wonderful vacation! Thanks for filling us in! Yum carnival food, and tractors! Your new friend is too cute. Always cutting into your video at just the right time! She’s taken Titans place 🐓, lol! Jk no one can do that! The pups are the best! I like watching you mow and change oil, and shrink wrap , and change oil again and power wash, and the moon was awesome! Thanks for a cool video! You still know how to mix it up! Keep up the videos! 😁
Hello there Debbie! Thank you for the happy thoughts! Hahah I thought there might be a chuckle or two out there. The misses doesn't know when I'm recording all the time, so she comes to tell me something and it turns into a partial comedy act 😆 Thank you again! You always brighten my day 😊 Hello to Mr. Honey B. 😁
Btw, those crocs are looking 👀 good! ☀️
You're darn right! I LOVE these 😊😉
Thanks for sharing your knowledge. Your Gomer Pyle impression at 16:45 is spot on.
Haha thank you! I'm happy to share 😁
sitting home this weekend and I thought, "I'd like to go to my Sister's house, sit in the shade, talk to the kids, play with the Dogs, and have a good heart to heart with some horses (they are the best conversationalists)."
That sounds like a really nice thought 🙂 And would be a wonderful day.
I see you had a wonderful experience with that Oil Filter.. I just did my wife's oil this weekend too, and guess what... I had to use a pair of channellocks to take it off, and it had to be crushed badly.. And that tick, is not a good sound. It's rod knock.. It's a bad sound :( That engine is kapoofnick.. At least in the bottom end.
Yeah man, I was telling another commenter that I used to work at an oil change place when I was younger. I remember a few instances having to put a screwdriver through the filter to get it out! Yeah, it's in the shop right now. Putting that warranty to work hopefully. 🤞🏻🤞🏻 Thanks for the comment!
I enjoy your aridly dry sense of humor.
Hahah "airidly dry." I like that! Thanks for tuning in 🍻
thumbs up and comments do a lot and of course glory shots of crocks
Thanks partner! I appreciate it. Always have fun with the special shots 😁
I’ll be dipped, tractors 😱 who would have thought 😎😁 Sweaty, covered in huil cussing like a night shift nurse, you’re turning into a genuine grease monkey ✌️👍👍😂 🍻it’s good to see all’s good. Even a wee oil spill awwwww 😍
lol yes sir! All for you 😆 I used to work at an oil change shop... I still have nightmares 🤣 I remember putting a few screwdrivers through filters to get them off of vehicles!
First ☑️🎉 Hy Aron, always was wondering what is going on with you 😃😘👍 I am doing fine, eye surgery was a big success and now I have the appointment for the right eye on August 12th. Then I will see crystal clear again. I will watch the video later tonight and give you my ultimate and highly appreciated review 😂😘 So: be excited 😅
I am VERY excited 😁 Great to hear about your eye surgery! And now for the right eye. I'm sure you did great on the first one, so the second one will be a breeze 😉 Great hearing from you, Maik. I hope you have an excellent week 🍻 👍🏻
so which way do the fuel lines go? couldnt ever find a good pic/answer in the vid
Yeah, I was definitely all over the place with those fuel lines. Check out 43:35 - The suction side in the tank is the line closest to the fuel filler neck. The suction side on the carburetor is the fitting closest to the fuel neck as well. Not sure if it's supposed to be this way or not, but it worked. Hope that helps!
@@TractorFella thanks, also which line needs the weight attached to it inside the tank? mine luckily still has that, though i don't have the small plastic piece you put on one line inside the tank, whatever that is for
Sure! You'll want the weight on the suction side (line closest to the filler neck). This way, whichever way you tilt the engine, the weight will fall to the bottom of the gas tank and keep picking up gas.
@@TractorFella thanks so much!
You're welcome! Good luck!!
I have a predator 212 chopper
Nice! I bet it rips!
bore out the crankcase to crankshaft case bearing surfaces and press fit new rebuild bearings. or make them from pipe.
If it's called "McCulloch" or "Talon" or "AL-KO" or "MAX Cut" or "Champion", it's still the same design anyway.
Funny how they rebrand the same stuff in so many applications. 🤔
@@TractorFella That is true. I think it's some kind of way to cheat customers. I still understand that in some situations the original trademark means something unpleasant or inappropriate in the language of a target country - so the brand is changed to a different one for that country's market than elsewhere. Marketing in general is dishonest - or how often do you remember seeing a completely honest advertisement?
Yeah man. Not too sure about advertisements, but I find it funny how one brand can cost more than the other, but overall it's all the same or similar components! 🤦♂️
@@TractorFella Most people find ads trustworthy or fairly trustworthy. If you focus on listening and reading what they say, you will begin to notice that mainly in two ways: - do not tell anything really new that would differ from the competitors. - imply some benefit that has no cover. Example paper towel rolls: "We added sheets to each roll" Me: "Ok... Are there two more sheets on the rolls now than before? One doesn't qualify because it's not plural, but two does. Why would they have added three or more - so probably two. But why? What's the real benefit to me?" An example of a mobile phone operator's device store: "You can pay us with 36 months interest-free payment period" Me: "the same goes for every one of your competitors." If ads were honest, there would be no advertising agencies. Now advertising agencies are like hitmen - they are paid to do the dirty work - and the person ordering the ad is as if innocent of everything.
Oh lookee.. a PowerMore! 🤣 Whodathunkit? I see what you're saying about that Tecumish and loose blade
Hahah indeed! Yeah, I'm glad I didn't keep it running to see what happened 😬
Damn! $95 now!! 😳
lexivon is half the price of the berkling, and they look identical except for color. 🤷🏻♂️
No, dude or dudette! Here! Berkling BSG-568 3-IN-1 Cordless Butane Gas Soldering Iron, Heat Gun Blower, Mini Torch - Self-Ignite, Instant Start, Rechargeable, Light Weight, Portable, Adjustable Flame Control, Up to 90 Mins a.co/d/5zV0SSQ I'm seeing $35 ish? It works well but keep it warm in the winter or the gas doesn't evaporate well to burn.
Regardless, go with what you want!
I'm the same on bee,s as well.
Yup! Any time they fly close I shiver hahaha! 🤣
