REAL plumber reacts to using Milwaukee M18 FUEL top snake
Переглядів 2,3 тис.14 днів тому
I am not a Milwaukee fan boy, I actually dislike Milwaukee even though all my tools are Milwaukee (for the most part). These companies get you. Once you start buying the tools you gotta get the batteries as well. Having 5 different chargers for 5 different brands of tools is a pain in the butt! This snake really is the best top snake I've ever used!

I have always been curious about how waterless urinals work. This video was fascinating and helped satisfy my curiosity. Thank you for educating me!
Mount those pipes on your living room wall
@@charliegodinez9655 that's pretty funny
Great Video! Love the way you attack a job and don't quit until it's DONE! BTW you have way better tools than "old-school" Steve!
What about a parts guy??
Nice work only thing i woulda added is a cleanout under TY for future And these armchair " plumbers' probably never worked in section 8 housing and see the abuse they take Cmon guys the plumbing is all exposed in bathroom with a tub on a fugazy wall lol Yea lets put a nice shiny chrome trap back in lol Get real
Nice work. I learn a lot from your videos.
I never found an ABS or PVC traps leaking other than the plastic washers! I always change out the chrome for Plastic.
Good fix. careful of the paint job LOL
Anyone who says putting in plastic traps instead of chrome has never had to sweat out an old chrome trap and put a new one in. It's torture. Ya solder a tail piece in only for the piece of shit unions to just leak anyways. Oh and then a couple years down the line when you go to unthread the union to snake the line, the fucking tail piece snaps.
Repairing anything old is like playing Russian Roulette. Most of the time, no drama. When there is a snag, it's a Nightmare.
no leaky leaks
Chrome P-traps are garbage and like you said they're expensive
@@bestvalueplumbing the unions always leak on metal traps too, I hate them
Wouza. Now I remember why I gut bathrooms and kitchens. I hate old plumbing and electrical. Much easier to start from scratch.
I normally won't work on rentals. Roaches bedbugs roaming around. Just nastyness
Plastic doesn't rot. I hate the metal ones. On occasion it's for looks and I can understand that.
Nice job for a school janitor. 😂Lol. Just messing with you. Thanks for sharing your knowledge and experience.

Those toilets are still manufactured by Niagra Corp. Tank flushing system is based off of Niagra Falls.

That whole handyman thing makes me laugh. It shows so much insecurity. I had a tile setter get hot with me and pull out his card. LMAO. Oh wow. You got the cslb card. He went on and on about how much he hated handymen. The conversation ended when I pointed out he must really hate his customer whom he didnt even know was a handyman. He looked at the customer's truck. Then turned around and looked in the garage at all the tools then walked off.

You need a small inspection camera. Drill a small hole to peek inside a wall. It can sometimes save a lot of time, guessing, and destruction.

My ancient Lamosa still flushes like an F5 tornado compared to the trickle you get from a new Toto - or anything else you can buy today.
Aren't you reducing the flange from 4 to 3 inches? Is that an concern?
@andylandry5062 no. The toilet discharge on bottom of toilet is only 2". This does reduce it but it's still a 3" opening.
@ thanks. I’m dealing with an old house and this looks to be the solution but I was concerned I was limiting space for discharge
@andylandry5062 they work great, no issues

@@emmettbenedum8127 southern California
For the shit hole rental properties you work in. That was the BEST solution. Kiddos.
Use a rubber foam ring instead of a wax ring if there is any risk of a wobbly bowl. The most important job of the ring is to keep an air tight seal. A foam ring springs back: a wax ring doesn’t.
For those closet bowl bolts that keep spinning ..... Put a nut near the top of the spinning bolt. Now top that nut with a jam nut. Tighten them together. Now you have a solid surface with which to grab and hold steady and keep it from turning as you unscrew the main nut
Just stick a potato in the clean out, JK
nice repair as far as Im concerned technically illegitagent but I have used dollar plugs and will use again . Im not judging but I do repairs based on what the people living there or owners want if they have a taste for quality it costs but exposed on outside good enough for many or most
