I use the zoeller sewage pump at my house. 3/4hp kitchen and bathroom. Works great. I clean it every 6 months and no problemo. I paid $399 at home depot on long island.
Good ol Zoeller 267. I’ve installed many of these. They’re very simple once you do a few of them. Thanks for the good laugh when that pipe blew apart 😂. As they say “$h** happens”
Looks like a DIY? Between the gate valve and that nasty clinger this was a interesting one! Is that Veto Pro plumbers tote a new item? Cool video! Thanks for posting! I read about a waste mate in a book called Charlie's Requiem by A American that was electrical waste management unit (the prisoners and guards called the Muffin Monster) in a county jail in Miami FL that stopped working after a EMP hit the USA...
Good work. The only question I have is, is there a reason you used DWV fittings and not pressure fittings. We always used pressure fittings on any pump discharge.
That application for the zoeller is probably right on cost effective but ive done plenty of commercial/industrial installs of grinders and that one you had the Liberty omnivore is probably best i ever used at of any and never had issues with rusted out blades in extreme environments with extreme abuse of what ppl flush down toilets getting chopped up easily Tho my experience is with the high voltage 3 phase grinders
I know rules are different in each state, but we’re not even allowed to use ABS pipe. I don’t know if it’s because of our climate or what but it’s not allowed here.
Speaking of whom, Steve has reported that newer Zoeller pumps are trouble compared to what they once made that built their brand. Lots of failures of newer Zoellers according to him. He replaces failed Zoellers with some other brand now, I forget the name. I hope this one works out differently for the client.

That’s why plumbers get paid well.
Thanks for sharing.
The footage rolling and dumping the trash can full of sewer would have been epic!

Nice job as usual and interesting to see plumbing in Cali. How about a van tour and tool review vids.

@ARrebel I've always used dwv fittings, pressure isn't that high. I don't think pressure fittings are permitted here

I bet you that smells lovely too I've had to deal with that before and it's never fun
Veto bags are the best yes they're not cheap but their strong as a tank

That trash bin had to weigh a ton full of poo like that. Los is a beast to be able to dump that thing without painting the house with it.
@@Fatterpilot yeah i shouldn't have pumped it that full
“Uncle Los” lol

@jeffreyplumber1975 nah it was legit just used a gate valve which was odd

That was hilarious.
I always shut off the main and flush the toilets. Without fail they will flush a toilet no matter what they say!
Hahahahaha silly guys, the piggy back plug is the float, you plugged in the bypass for the motor.
Did you puke a little bit?
