    I tried mac several times already and i really wanted to love it so i really tried my best to love it. The keyboard shortcuts drove me crazy!!! I realized that many of the windows hotkeys that took only 1 hand now takes 2 hands in mac os. I think you are in the same stage I was before. Mac made me less productive. I found myself doing things slower in mac than in windows. Windows is still king when it comes to productivity especially with multi monitor setups. There is no mac os feature that Windows does not have. The said cannot be said the other way around. Windows phone link does the same thing as mac continuity. You can copy and paste between an android phone and your pc. You can also write sms, read your sms, see and copy photos from your phone. You can even pin your phone's apps in your task bar. Download localsend to easily transfer files between pc, mac, ios and android. Download powertoys so you can have quick search and more. Until now, mac does not have a hotkey to move 1 window to the next display. Windows Hello facial recognition is also very convenient. No need to enter passwords. Iphone has Face ID for so many years already. Why doesn't Mac get this feature in 2025?

      Yeah that would be a fun video. That wasn't a car we were interested in so I wanted to do it to vehicles we actually would have bought... and we did buy one, we chose the Tesla Model 3 and it has been fantastic plus the math actually checked out that I did in the video! We literally spend 1/10th what we did on fuel. It's nuts!

    The battery you bought is LFP. It's better keep it fully charged often.

    • @TheSAHDLife
      @TheSAHDLife День тому

      The Engineering Explained guy did a videos on LFP batteries (on UA-cam) which was really good... and IF it's true, he made it seem like keeping it at lower charge IS better for the longevity of the battery. But realistically we won't still have the car by the time the battery degrades that much (10 year +). Who knows, maybe we will if they are as good as they seem. I'm skeptical.

    I am paying for it. I feel 99 Bucks per month is worth it especially after V13.2.2.1 and future versions. I have been using it in Vancouver in heavy rains for last two weeks and I just had disengagements because i want to take a different route. Else it is just fantastic. I love Driving but i have to comute daily approximately 40KM and i rather relax than drive.

    I just bought a 2025 Huundai Elantra Hybrid, and I gotta say I love the car. 52MPG gotten up to 56MPG 535 mile range. I can truly care less about zero emission. Zero emissions isn't saving me any money at all. it's just an agenda. All I care about is longer range convenience and driver friendly. No matter which way you look at lifestyle wise, a hybrid car blows any tesla out of the water when it comes to overall ownership, driving range, and convenience in time saving fueling up. I'm still saving 3k-4k in a 5-year span over a Tesla. And that's to include fuel maintenance etc.... this all full ev spectrum is a scam. Nobody includes their total monthly bill for charging. Electric bill and public charging Tesla needs new tires after 35k sooner rotations and horrible warranties vs a normal car and hybrid is still 60k- 80k miles for tires and less money.Let all that sink in so when I say I'm saving 3k-4k over a Tesla in 5 years I'm not lying. EV owners always leave out the full owner ship information and just dog on other vehicles 🤣

    • @TheSAHDLife
      @TheSAHDLife День тому

      We are able to charge in our garage every night, so in the 4 months we've had the EV it's cost us $117 for 5,000 range ($81 USD for 3100 miles). Compared to our OLD gas car we are spending literally 1/10th the amount in fuel. I don't think EV's are the right choice for everyone though and I think Hyundai hybrids are a great choice that are very well rounded. I think as long as people buy for their lifestyle instead of just buying something because they want it (like an EV truck or something) most of the choices nowadays are pretty good. An EV without being able to charge at home every night... I don't think I'd want that personally.

    Good video. Im doing braces for the second time at 76. Crazy huh ? I just could imagine the work with invisalign although Im a pretty patient guy. Also, my problems are not just crooked teeth but overbite/alignment issues. You had a good result

    • @TheSAHDLife
      @TheSAHDLife 2 дні тому

      Yeah that's interesting! What happened over the years? Nowadays they give you night trays to wear once you are done your treatments, did they just not do that when you first had braces? We (my wife and I) wear trays every night. And that's a bummer they weren't able to correct the overbite originally.

    • @leewhaley552
      @leewhaley552 2 дні тому

      I wasn't concerned with crooked teeth but the overbite caused me to break lower front teeth. After about 30 years you tend to slack off with the retainer.

      @TheSAHDLife 2 дні тому

      @leewhaley552 hehe that I could see. How long is your treatment going to be this time around? Since do you mind if I ask why you are choosing braces over Invisalign? Our daughter is going to be getting one of them in the next couple months so we're just trying to decide which one would be smart for her.

      @leewhaley552 2 дні тому

      I'm already closed to a year this time. Probably another year. The first time I was 40 and there was no Invisalign. I chose braces for two main reasons....I just could not imagine myself removing and replacing the aligners three times a day and I was concerned about trapping bacteria in the aligners if I failed to clean my teeth sufficiently after eating. At my age I'm not worried about the appearance or what people may think about me. I'm way past that. Haha

    With the PHEV's it's essential to have easy and cheap access to chargers. I live in an apt building with no chargers and charging around town can be reasonable (.21 cents per kwh or even free), but some stations come at premium pricing that's more expensive than gas per mile (.45-.55 cents per kwh). Also important is the MPG after the battery is depleted. My vehicle gets about 35-40 miles per charge, and after that 27 MPG. At that rate, too much highway driving can quickly lower your MPG. PHEV's work well for people that drive mostly in town and do a few trips outside the city per month. If you're frequently driving over 30-40 miles than a regular hybrid is a better choice IMO.

    • @TheSAHDLife
      @TheSAHDLife 3 дні тому

      Thanks for the share. It's interesting as someone just asked whether or not they should get the PHEV vs the regular HEV as they won't get access to charging until they move in a year or so. It was tough to give an honest answer since I actually don't know, but my gut feeling aligns with your experience. They would be great if you had a garage to charge it in every night but otherwise, like you said, regular ol' Hybrids are still great and are just a little more flexible.

    I think invisalign is pretty idiot-proof. The dentist / ortho just sell the product that invisalign provides. I wouldnt expect much of a difference.

    • @TheSAHDLife
      @TheSAHDLife 3 дні тому

      Yeah I hear you. I think the difference is some people have pre-existing jaw issues, so my wife for example was able to correct her bite going through her ortho whereas I went through my dentist and he didn't even mention fixing my cross-bite. Small things. I also think there are better dentists too though.

    Thanks for this . I’ve been drinking alcohol since I was 15 and I’m 32 . The longest I’ve ever went without drinking is one week. One thing I noticed is that when I’d be out doing my deliveries , I’d always go home and take a nap around one because I was so tired and I’d miss a lot of money . When I quit for that week those naps stopped , I had more energy, and I felt better . I’m quitting for good starting today !

      Wow that's a big change coming your way! Good for you. It's insane how addictive alcohol is. It robs me of creativity, I often don't know what to do with myself because all I ever do is drink. I wish you the best of luck. Make it easier on yourself and get the book or any book on the subject. The book recommended in the video has helped so many people. Even get a free copy from the library and read a couple pages a day. It'll help!

      Yeah for sure. We ended up buying a Tesla and I gotta say, it's awesome for our lifestyle. We use it as a commuter and the fuel savings are literally 1/10th to what we were spending before since we're able to fully charge at home. Would we buy it again even without a rebate? Yeah... it's been that good for us. I could see how it wouldn't suit everybody's needs though so I don't think everyone should buy one.

    • @crisgon9552

      @TheSAHDLife I am in the military and travel a lot. That's why I ended up buying a Toyota RAV4 Hybrid. If I owned a home, and stayed in one location, I would have gotten the plug-in or maybe a full EV.

    • @TheSAHDLife
      @TheSAHDLife 3 дні тому

      @crisgon9552 Yeah I would have made a similar choice if I traveled more. We took a ferry yesterday over to the mainland and stayed for a couple days. We had enough energy that we didn't even need to stop but we did stop at a supercharger just for fun. It's a relaxing experience which is cool but it's not the fastest so I could see how for a lot of people that would be a bit of an inconvenience if they didn't have charging at home.

    This is one of my favorite videos around this topic. I am thinking of getting a 25 Tucson but torn between Hybrid and Plug-in Hybrid. The incentive brings their prices very close (1200 CAD difference). I currently don't have access to an outlet at home or at work but the situation might change in a year or two. We drive arount 100 km a day. Would it make sense to get the plug in and use it as a hybrid in a hope that I gain access to an outlet in the future?

    • @TheSAHDLife

      Thanks for the comment! That's a really great question... and to be completely honest, I don't know the right answer. @ghadeershaaya 4 дні тому

      @@TheSAHDLife Thank you for replying! To be honest, I wasn't even considering the plug-in until I found out that they qualify for the EV incentive. I did a napkin math; hybrid Tucson gets 6.4 L/100km and the plug-in gets 6.7 L/100m when not charged. In my case, that's a 0.3 L wasted a day if I get the PHEV which is not terrible. I am not considering the resale value or the reliability of either of the systems. I am warming up to the idea of having the option to plug in my car!

    Quitting was by far the best life decision i've ever made in my life I am about 3 or 4 years now, i did drink this past for Passover, The Rabbi insisted. BUT with that i wasn't goign at it like a wild drunk, i had a few and never again (This was last year) But in all quitting was amazing, the first 2 weeks i was in Thailand, not the spot to quit easily but i managed to figure it out and put myself into my house alone away from the world My biggest reason for realizing i had a problem was i COULD NOT stop, i'd always make mental agreements with myself to buy more "Hey We'll do exgtra study or push ups tonight, no big deal" Anyways 5 hours later im on my 5th Change, for y'all that don't know Thailand beer this is like 32 or 36 oz of 6% beer..yeah i drank a lot But since my weight is down, i lost just about 15kg the first year, my heath is way better - no joke have lost 10 years of visual aging, i am way more positive. I don't wake up with regrets because i tried to sleep with a friend or a random fight i tried to start, both things i never remembered. Sorry I ranted But yeah get past that first 2 or 3 weeks and no joke its easier than anything becuase now your forcing yourself to harm yourself Ah and locking yourself into a Thailand condo for 2 weeks can also help :)

    My wife almost bought me the 6 pack that was on sale for Christmas. But I’m glad she held off, today I found True Classic tees in Target! Finally I can see them in person before buying. I thought they did feel like a decent quality, but not what I would hope for a $30 t shirt. That said they had a deal, $17 per shirt when you buy 2. I liked the green and the navy so I grabbed those (White tees just get too dirty to fast to spend that kind of money on). Get home to finally try them on, I get to see what all the fuss is about! And to my surprise the green one was actually pretty loose. Had I bought the wrong size? Nope, TCTees says I should wear a large, and they’re right, the navy fit perfectly. Snug in the arms, tighter around the waste but not in the belly. But the green is almost like a different fit. Nope, everything says they’re the same just different colors, with the exception of where they’re made. One was made in Vietnam and the other in Cambodia. I’d find that same issue in other reviews only one was China and the other Vietnam. All in all, decent shirts if you find a great Black Friday sale or something, other than that, I’d find cheaper options.
