Just saw this review and I absolutely disagree. I've run my entire house including on demand water heater, well pump, lights, refrigerator and 3 deep freezes in my shop. Also ran the washer and dryer although not at the same time. Best $2000 I've ever spent.

3" owens board is 190 a sheet by me at this time. kingspan 2" 55 a sheet. at 55 it would cost me close to 3,000. I can get a do it yourself kit for 800 that should cover everything 2" for 1600 I can get two and would have 4" in most of my building.

Nobody goes to harbor freight to buy a generator for their garage to run high amp equipment. Does the generator run the whole house? Does it run your domestic well pump in the event of an outage? Yes it does. This video is bad and you should feel bad.

I still run a 7.3 it's the best engine that has ever been put in a truck there's 0 debate about that. Address the 4r100 and get a built tranny and truck will live forever What I love most about the Ford is you rarely have to rotate or balance the tires the power train on a Ford does not eat tires like I have seen on the chevy and Dodge.

hello love the videos, i have a 20x30 shop that has metal beams that the walls attach to, i can i still do this and if so how would i attach the foam panels. also would the f150 work just as good

We used the same sheets, 3.5", on our 16x40 tiny house, at 7,000ft. Came out great! 😊

Simple serrated bread knife (not the type with a standard carpenter's saw blade edge) will cut the foam perfectly...works on rock wool too.

Do you plug up the ends of corrugated metal ribs or leave them open? I have a metal roof on porch thst drips all winter.

I am in Florida & I'm trying to insulate a wood shed & have a window AC unit in it. There's no moisture barrier in it, just the wood. Would you recommend using this against the walls & ceiling or do I need to add a tyvek house wrap inside & then place this in between the studs? Thank you for the video & any good advice you can share.

Dumb review... Seriously a compressor with a 7 ho motor to start with a max generator of 9500 watts.... Lol that is funny.... Notice they recommend a smaller generator half the price but yet they don't give any names and what you recommend... This guys don't know what the hell they're talking about.

LOL.. I have seen 30 reviews of people testing THIS GENERATOR with ZERO ISSUES. I have seen this run WHOLE HOMES. So yeah, sounds like USER ERROR for these guys.

Little late to the party, but I don't think an inverter generator is a cost effective approach to running compressors, welders, etc. I have been under the impression that the inverters were good at providing "clean" power for electronics and the like.

Metal buildings sweat, right? Leaving the gaps in the walls, those little channels will still sweat, I think. Not sure the upfront cost savings would be worth it, for me at least. I suppose if it’s only a garage then it will be adequate. For a Barndo, I can’t say I could justify the moisture build up.

You guys should start reading labels of equipment and generator. There is a power consumption by each equipment and a maximum possible supply by the generator. If equipment consumes more than the max. supply of the generator, it won't work.

Maybe you got a bad one? Consumer Reports rates it highly and says it has no problem providing the rated power.

Inrush current is your problem.

Try the same with a Honda gen of compatible size.

If there is a fire, this foam burns like hell. Mineral wool does not burn at all.

The inrush for that compressor is probably between 150-200A. Of course a 9kW gen isn’t going to start it

Zero chance that is r12 It would be around a r1 to r1.5 and the foil always goes out no matter what. Putting the foil in will still allow condisation. The only thing that it is good for is moisture Barrie and radiant heat barrier.
