I HAVE HAD A HEARTHSTONE MANSFIELD SOAPSTONE STOVE NOW FOR TWENTY TWO YEARS. I HAVE FOLLOWED ALL RECOMMENDATIONS ON BURN PROCEDURES. THE YEARLY BREAK- IN FIRES. AND FOLLOW THE OPERATING TEMPS OF FOUR HUNDRED TO SIX HUNDRED DEGREES ON THE TOP CENTER STONE. THE STOVE LOOKS ALMOST BRAND-NEW.

I’m looking for a wood/ gas duel side or 3 side fire place . Do you make those? If so would you please lead me to it? Thanks Julie

I have the stove in my home and the only problem that I have had with it is the popping noise that the stove makes when it's shutting off after it is reached the desired temperature. We have had it checked several times but it still makes this loud popping noise when the flame shuts off. No one has been able to tell me what causes this loud popping noise. I have only had the stove a couple of years so I don't think it should be making this loud popping noise. It is very scary if you are not expecting it to make this loud popping noise. I would love to get this problem fixed so I can enjoy my stove.

I bought this stove and it's been a pain in the neck since the warranty ran out. It has 4 double A batteries,. the stove has continues pilot burning, for some reason the pilot flame goes out the stove starts beeping...so I have to remove the battery and unplug it for 15 seconds and plug it back in the pilot light reignites, so if I leave the batteries out it works great, unless the power goes out then I need to put the batteries back into light the pilot. Now it's beeping everyday with or without the batteries and the power is on. so I unplug it for 15 seconds and plug it back in the pilot relights itself and works fine, until it calls for heat , pilot light goes out starts beeping....I don't recommend Lopi

I moved into a home with the Greenfield GSR2 Deluxe. Was installed 2 years ago with the heat exhaust/blower out through the roof with gas line to central gas. It's still fairly new. Do you need some type of annual maintenance and can i do it myself?

A lot of people say that they prefer cast iron or steel, but our experience with soapstone so far has been great. Just as you mentioned, I can sit right next to the stove and feel a nice radiant heat, not a skin burning blast of heat. Yes it takes awhile to heat up, but it also means that it stays hot for many hours after the fire has gone out! Perfect for keeping my home at a comfortable, even temperature throughout the day. So if you are looking for a workshop or shed stove, id go with steel or cast iron, so that you can heat it up within a few minutes. We are very happy with our Hearthstone Castleton :D great video with accurate info.

I own one of these, love it, but the by-pass control rod has separated from the by-pass plate. Can this be fixed, and if so, how?

We have already purchased this fireplace and are getting it installed this week. I am excited because we have a barn home with about 2600 square feet and I think this will be great. My brother does custom cabinets and has about 2 to 3 50 gallon barrels of dry hard wood every week. Do you think I can heat my house on this alone because you can burn 12 hours on a single burn?
