Does the front camera plug and the back camera plug the same type of plug (when it plugs into the rearview mirror)? I'd like to purchase another waterproof back camera and place it on the front bumper, but it's got to be waterproof.
So, they "look" the same; however, I specifically asked that question because I wanted to use the "Room" cam input (or whatever it is called) with that exact camera (same one as for the rear cam), and got told it wouldn't work, no real reason stated, just that it wouldn't, you'd have to order the specific cam designed for that input. If you do buy it, just be sure to buy it via Prime or through some easy channel to return if it doesn't work.
I started by mounting the camera to the rack in its permanent location then carefully ran the wire down the rack, through the small hole in the bed, then zip tied it along the frame rail up to the engine bay, then came through the firewall port on the driver's side, up the A-pillar, then over to the mirror.
Very nice ride!
Thanks!!

How did you run the wire from the cabin to the back>?
