- Freeze Frame! This is a very rare interview with Jonathan Cain from 1982. It was on a TV show called "Freeze Frame", hosted by Doug Pringle. Jonathan talks about his time in the band as well as how he became a Journey member in 1981. He goes to to talk about what it was like to write new songs with Steve Perry as well as record new songs without ever performing with the band!

I loved this interview. It is ALWAYS great to see this again! I appreciate THIS channel!!! Ross never struck me as funny. SP seems funnier but I think his relationship with the young lady back in the day helped to make him worry.
I really hope you get to meet Steve Perry soon if you haven't already. Jon Cain was a GREAT songwriting partner with Steve, who is not given nearly enough credit for being a great songwriter.

I wish we still had these programs today but with the same artists from yesterday! I had just started to watch another Jonathan Cain TV interview around the same time that I have on DVD the other day but got interrupted and didn't get to watch it all. And for the life of me I can't think of the name of the program right now. But this reminds me to go back and finish it. It's been too long since I've watched the whole thing haha. I love when you put these up Ron.
