I know this is an old video, but I would like to offer my experience on a similar noise I had with my stroker. At first I thought that the clattering was the valvetrain, but eventually it turned into a knock and that's when I found out that the #6 piston failed on the wrist pin. The clattering noise came from piston beginning to stiffen up on the wrist pin, and eventually it seized causing it to knock. I took it apart and replaced the #6 piston and the clattering is gone and I was able to do it all in frame without taking the motor out, and I'm ok with the way it sounds now.

I want to verify that the ECU is able to communicate, what tool (or if theres a recommended similar tool) is used for that? Also, what was the pinout? Thanks!

Great video! I put a good salvaged EBCM in my tahoe after my original EBCM failed. Exact same part number etc. It works fine with no abs issues at all, but gives me a yaw rate error C0196 keeping stabilitrak and traction control saying service. I'm certain this is due to the used module swap. Do these chevy factory modules have the ability to relearn or be programmed to work with other modules in a different vehicle or did I mess up by saving money to get a used module only to have the stabilitrak and traction control stay on for the rest of the vehicles existence. I let my mother drive the 2005 buick lacrosse cxl, and when she returned it, the anti-theft system (the beep beep beep when you put the keys in the ignition) volume was super high. She doesn't know what she did and I have no idea why it is so loud now. I've had the car for 8 years, and it was always just normal sounding. What do I do?lol😂

was there a click when trying to start the car? changed my spark plugs yesterday, done the test drive right after and after 2 hours my car won't starts, just make one click, put a new battery today but this didn't help now I think maybe I touched and moved the linkage you were talking about

The pump mounts to what I would call the back side of the timing cover/enclosure. How hard is it to pull the pull off the crank? that drives the timing belt and remove that whole cover with the pump at the same time?

Great video. I was wondering you replaced few battery cells based on initial reading from your voltmeter. But to get a true accurate life and strength of the battery, should you have tested for discharge and charge cycle? That way you can see how each indiviual battery are able to handle the loads. Thanks.

I have a 2007 sierra 1500 that has no power from ebcm to the left front wheel sensor. I replaced the ebcm and still have same result . Can someone let me know which wire is for the left front wheel sensor that feeds into the ebcm . thank you.
