2012 Explorer Fix. IT WOULDN'T START!!

Here's a 2012 Explorer that had major body repair work done. The engine and dashboard were removed to allow for the necessary structural repairs to take place. Once assembled there were some starting and communication issues that I needed to address. The vehicle wouldn't crank and it wasn't possible to talk to the PCM with a scan tool. Here's how I fixed it.
