Im just starting to play Wither 3, first time experiencing anything Witcher related. Details and backstories are essential to me. Watched so many recap videos and came out more confused than when i went in. But this video finally did it for me. You did and Amazing job, Thank you! Thank youu 🤍 I can continue playing now with so much better understanding, ,more enjoyment, and deeper immersion

In the original myth, ChangEr was indeed considered to be servant of TaiYin the moon goddess. Also it was TaiYin who gave ChsngEr the potion of immortality as reward of her husband shoot down 9 suns. Out of greed, ChangEr took double dose of the potion as one makes her immortal and two would make her deity. Little did she know, she would become deity in the moon realm, a lonely world and she did.

I found the Witcher books at a local book event and found more on audible, i downloaded the Witcher 3 to play along side!

This helps loads. Ive been trying Witcher 3 on and off for years but never gotten into a proper groove Gonna give it a fairer shot over this holliday break and see if I cant get invested at last. Some backstory really helps

Its been forever since I read the books so this is a great refresher! One question though, in the short story The Witcher did Geralt bite the striga? You mentioned he admits he had to do it but didn't state he did it beforehand. Bit confused

If I knew it's such a story heavy game I would've payed more attention and treated it as such, and not just as tough as nails metroidvania. The exploration and difficulty was at times so frustrating that tons upon tons of dialogues on top of that made me start skipping all of them for the majority of the game.. I never skipped dialogues before so here I am, catching up😅
