    THANK YOU! Neutropenia recently discontinued the only thing that helped keep my skin clear (2 in 1 Toner), and I happened to be looking through my closet, and ran across this mask that I’d completely forgotten about. I still have 16 uses left on it, but I went ahead and followed through with this hack anyway.

    FYI on latest software version you don't need to go into service mode to see camera previews, it's now under settings in the service menu where you turn on/off carwash mode and wiper maintainence mode.

    Just bought an H9 battery from Costco for 2016 x5 battery replacement. Technical specs on both (old and new) are identical except for AH; old was 105 and Costco's is 100 AH; Per Bimmerlink/code You tube Video, for any new battery setting will require BimmerCode app ( a separate app for $50); Do i really need to spend the xtra $ to get the code app? or BimmerLink is good enough for registration and make it work? Thanks all.

    Is this mount only 2 positions? ie full up or full down, or can you stop anywhere along it's travel and leave it any height?

    • @fixitwithjake
      @fixitwithjake 7 днів тому

      I just went and tried mine and I would say there’s infinitely different positions for the top 80% of the swivel and the bottom 20%. It wants to start falling into the lower position and will not remain stable unless you prop it up with something. So I would say it can definitely do the high position, the low position and a middle position. As well as any position from the middle and higher reliably. Does that make sense? There’s no place to lock it in place at the 50% mark that I know of. It will just float there. All of this will depend on getting the proper size amount for how heavier TVs is. Our TV is pretty big and heavy, but it’s held nicely by the gas struts in the mount. Also, I’m looking right now as I’m talking about this and there is a good size hole on the bracket so you could potentially find the exact height you want and add an additional locking position of 50% or more. I’m no expert on this thing so I would also call the company or email them and ask them because there may be a feature of missing.

    • @fixitwithjake
      @fixitwithjake 10 днів тому

      Their installer manual recommends 1/4” x 2.5” Lag Bolts, quantity 8 and 1/4” washers quantity 8. These are to be driven into the center of two studs on a wall with a wall thickness up to 1.25 inches. If your studs are wider than normal, which means 17 to 24 inches you’ll need the wide amount adapter. The side bolt screws. There’s 12 of those used for securing the Tonal to the bracket those are: M6 1.0 x 8MM bolts. Is that what u needed?

    • @fixitwithjake
      @fixitwithjake 10 днів тому

      For metal stud installation they use an M6 snap toggle anchor eight quantity and M6 1.0 X 80 mm toggle bolts quantity 8 and 1/4 inch washers quantity eight

    Is this usefull for wakeboarding? I have a kindy choppy wave sometimes

    • @fixitwithjake
      @fixitwithjake 15 днів тому

      Unfortunately, no this will not work for wakeboarding. With wakeboarding you want symmetrical wakes work. Both sides are clean and this device makes one side and the other side full of white water. In order to get a Cleaner wakeboard try shifting your weight around the boat from the rear to the front and increasing your speed slightly.

    Man I wish I had found this video BEFORE trying to twist off that mirror. All of the videos I found were showing a T20 TORX screw holding in the mirror. My NOV, 2023 Model Y Long Range built in Texas, has a twist off mirror. It is not easy to turn, or at least mine was not. So it is very nice that this video shows you which way to turn the stalk to get it to release.

    • @fixitwithjake
      @fixitwithjake 19 днів тому

      Ya dude. It’s weird how it’s designed to twist off. Even harder to get the feeling to put it back on. But once you do it one time it makes a lot more sense. On prior cars they also twist off at the same manner so it may be a standard design across vehicles mirrors?? Thanks for sharing your feedback and comments!

    Can u run the pump for 24 hours? How?

    • @fixitwithjake
      @fixitwithjake 19 днів тому

      Yes, most definitely parts of the USA were electricity is very cheap people run at 24 hours a day, especially when their pool is only open half of the year. You would do that within the schedule programming to say start at 1 AM and end at 12:59 AM and that would cause your pump to run all night long except for one minute. Let me know if you need better assistance and I can make a short video clip for you.

    I accidentally hit the ERASE EEPROM and now the intelliflo variable speed pump won't turn on with the schedules?? PLEASE HELP 🙏 🙏

    • @fixitwithjake
      @fixitwithjake 29 днів тому

      It sounds like erasing the EEPROM reset your Pentair IntelliTouch system to its factory defaults, which erased all your previous settings, including pump schedules. Here’s a step-by-step guide to help you get your IntelliFlo variable speed pump running again: 1. Verify Communication with the Pump: • Go to the IntelliTouch control panel. • Navigate to Settings > Equipment > Pumps. • Ensure the system recognizes your IntelliFlo pump. If it doesn’t show up, you may need to re-establish the communication. Re-link the Pump: • Power cycle the pump by turning it off at the breaker for about 1 minute. • Turn the power back on and go to Settings > Pumps > Add New. • The IntelliTouch should detect the pump. If not, check the RS-485 connection (communication cable) between the IntelliFlo pump and the IntelliTouch panel. 2. Reconfigure the Schedules: • On the IntelliTouch panel, go to Schedules > Create New. • Select the pump and set the desired speeds and time intervals. • Ensure you save each schedule properly after setting it. 3. Manual Pump Operation (Temporary Fix): • If the pump won’t respond to schedules immediately, you can manually start the pump: • On the IntelliFlo pump display, press Menu. • Navigate to Speed or Programs. • Select a speed and press Start. 4. Verify Filter and Circuit Settings: • Sometimes erasing the EEPROM removes the filter pump circuit assignment. • Go to Settings > Circuits > Assign Circuits. • Ensure the filter pump is assigned to the correct circuit. 5. Reset the IntelliFlo Pump: • If nothing works, try resetting the IntelliFlo pump to factory defaults: • On the IntelliFlo pump display, hold down Stop and Reset simultaneously for about 10 seconds. • Reconnect the pump to the IntelliTouch system and reprogram the schedules. 6. Update Firmware (If Necessary): • Check if your IntelliTouch system has a firmware update. Sometimes, outdated firmware can cause communication issues. • Contact Pentair support or visit their website for firmware updates. 7. Contact Pentair Support: • If these steps don’t resolve the issue, Pentair’s customer support can walk you through advanced troubleshooting or send a technician to assist. Let me know if you need more specific instructions for any step!

    Yes, I need some help I have a pentair easy touch panel with two pull lights the lights have been working properly for a couple years now all of a sudden, they're acting like strobe lights is there a setting messed up in the panel or is it step down transformer can you leave me in the right direction

    • @fixitwithjake
      @fixitwithjake Місяць тому

      From my experience definitely sounds like a step down transformer issue. Are the lights at your pool 12 V? I have another video on how to pull these lights up and check on them or replace them as needed. You might want to look at your transformer and find the model number and simply replace it. It’s fairly straightforward and very cost-effective. Before I replace it, I would put a $20 multi meter on the transformer and see what the voltage is on the output side to see if it’s going up and down or on and off which would indicate a failure and also with your lights flashing. Voltage is the issue down the lights. But since you were saying that both lights do it off the same transformer it’s likely that it’s the transformer itself. Let us know how it goes and happy to help out if you need more assistance.

      About 40 washes later and not one issue. This fix completely solved the issue. Saved me from buying an entire new wash machine :). Super happy about it!

    Can it be used as leak detectors?

    • @fixitwithjake
      @fixitwithjake Місяць тому

      I think there’s other models on the market that are better suited for detecting leaks. This is just an electronic on and off water valve with Wi-Fi control and Scheduling.

      Thanks. I’m sure it could be better but I definitely try hard to film the important parts while I’m trying to fix the car. And mixing the two together makes it take twice as long. But hearing that this helps people makes all the hard work worth it!

    Can u adjust the handlebars up n down or not I’ve read conflicted deatails on if they’re fixed or h can make shorter how young of a kid can ride it most kids ones wont go over grass

    • @fixitwithjake
      @fixitwithjake 2 місяці тому

      No, the handlebars on this one are fixed. I think if you had adjustable handlebars, it would flex and not be very sturdy. I don’t know how small the kid is but they grow so fast that they adapt quickly and I’ve seen smaller kids ride with higher handlebars with great success. You may want to put some padding on the front bar so they don’t hit their face on it :) a plastic pool noodle maybe?

    Does this work for kitchen my water is so hard n leaves a film in my dishes thanks

    • @fixitwithjake
      @fixitwithjake 2 місяці тому

      Yes, these filter systems are mainly designed for use in the kitchen. But it will reduce how much water flows out of your main faucet. So generally people have a second smaller faucet next to the big one just for filtered water to come out. If you wanna filter the water coming out of your main kitchen faucet and not slow it down you’ll need a bigger system that usually has larger diameter, pipes, and filters to keep the same amount of water coming out. So it’s not restricted like this one that has smaller diameter pipes.

    the battery depends on the controller modell. My Mavic Pro 2 (controller RC1B) has a different battery than linked here. The product number for the RC1B Battery is 623758-1s2p (size and connector are different). But thanks for the instructions :)

    This video really helped but I still ran into issues. Ordered the replacement gasket pack from Amazon and it turns out my pump needs a 201 vs 200 shaft seal. Other parts were not exactly the same which I’m sure is just how it goes. I also broke off two of the tiny bolts and some of the other parts were different by just a little. Really need to be handy to take this on, but way cheaper than replacing or getting someone to do it. Thanks big time for the guidance.

    That was helpful - re top up water. I have created 9k litres rain water storage underground and in the dark. Also when they are full I have rigged up a direct feed to the pool with a fine filter. Remember keep your roof and gutters clean.

    • @fixitwithjake
      @fixitwithjake 2 місяці тому

      Interesting very savvy of you. Any concerns of algae growth and dumping that water into your clean pool?

    • @chrismeese3666
      @chrismeese3666 2 місяці тому

      @ NO - because 5000 lt are in an underground concrete tank the other 3 x 1000 lt are sited out of direct light inside at the back of an large out building the other 1000 lt tank I have sprayed with black paint and is stored on the north side of my home along with some conventional green 500lt water butts. Some times I juggle the water round and top up the pool using a small portable pump and hose. The main thing is I keep my gutters and roof clean by occasionally spraying with bleach allowing the first rains to by-pass the storage tanks. I also use the stored water to drip irrigation my veg garden. Plus I have the water from the 5000 lt underground tank plumed to allow me to use this water for washing machines, toilets, and outside taps for washing the car and equipment plus irrigation. Started 20 year ago. Wish I had sunk more underground water tanks when I had the 5000 lt tank installed. One can’t have to much water.

      @@fixitwithjake I don't drive with the auto stop\start feature so I think it's just cold that has killed it both times, desert or moist PNW either way. I'm going tomorrow to auto parts and see if I can order an H9, first time my mobile mechanic did it and I'll have to check it when I pull it out.
