2001 දී ඇෆ්ගනිස්ථානයේදී ත්‍රස්තයන් විසින් බාමියන් බුදුපිළිම පුපුරවහැරිය ඔයාලට මතකද? අද video එකෙන් යන ස්ථානයට පාදක වෙන්නෙ අන්න ඒ සිද්දිය.
ඇෆ්ගනිස්ථානයේ බාමියන් බුදුපිළිම ත්‍රස්තවාදීන් විනාශ කිරීමෙන් පසු මෙම පිළිමය සෑදීමට මූලික වෙලා තියෙන්නෙ දහම්පාසලේ ළමයින්. මෙය දැනට ලෝකයේ විශාලතම ශෛලමය සමාධි බුද්ධ ප්‍රතිමාව ලෙස සැලකෙනව.
මෙම පිළිමය තියෙන්නෙ රම්බඩගල්ල මොණරාගල මහා විහාරයෙ. මෙය පිහිටා ඇත්තේ ශ්‍රී ලංකාවේ කුරුණෑගල දිස්ත්‍රික්කයේ.
ළමුන් සහ දායකයන්ගෙන් මුලික මුදල් එකතු උනාට පස්සෙ ලොකු හමුරුවන්ට තිබ්බ ලොකුම ගැටළුව ශිල්පියෙකු සොයාගැනීමයි. කෙසේ හෝ ලොකුහාමුදුරුවො නුවර එලියෙ යන අතරමග දේවාලයක තිබු හනුමාන් පිළිමයක් දැකල තියනව. පසුව එය කරවූ ශිල්පියා ගැන සොයාබැලීමේදී දැනගන්න ලැබිල තියෙන්නෙ ඔහු ඉන්දියානු ජාතිකයෙකු බවයි. පසුව ඔහු සම්බන්ද කරගෙන මෙම ප්‍රතිමාව කරවීමට කැමති කරගෙන තියෙනව.
2002 දී වැඩ ආරම්බ කල මෙම ප්‍රතිමාවේ වැඩ 2016 දී නිමකර තියෙනව. මෙය බැලුබැල්මට කළුගලක් වගේ පෙනුනත් මෙය චන්ද්‍ර පාෂාණ නමැති පාෂාණයකින් තමයි කරවල තියෙන්නෙ. මෙහි ඉදිරියෙන් ඔයාලට දකින්න ලැබෙන විශාල පොකුණද මෙම ගලේම තමයි සාදවා තියෙන්නෙ. මෙම පොකුණ අඩි 7 ක් පමණ ගැඹුරු බවයි දැනගන්න ලැබුනෙ.
ප්‍රතිමාව ඉදිරියේ ඇති මෙම පුවරුව බැලුවොත් ඔයාලට ප්‍රතිමාව සැදීම ආරම්බයේ සිට අවසානය දක්වා සිදුවූ සියලු දේ රූපරාමු සහිතව දැකගන්න පුළුවන්. ප්‍රතිමාව ලඟට ගියාම අපේ ප්‍රමාණයත් එක්ක මෙහි විශාලත්වය හිතාගන්න පුළුවන් නේද?
තවද මෙම විහාරස්ථානයේ විහාරගෙය සහ බෝධින්වහන්සේද මෙම විශාල පර්වතය මතම තමයි ඉදිකරල තියෙන්නෙ. මෙහි පසෙකින් තායිලන්තයෙන් පරිත්‍යාග කරන ලද සක්මන් බුද්ධ ප්‍රතිමාවක්ද ඔයාලට දැකගන්න පුළුවන්.
