Hey I have a question. For some reason during my campaign as the empire, I wiped the Hapes Consortium from the galaxy and despite not having fully wiped out the Black Suns, Corporate Sector Authority, and the Rebellion I got the congratulations screen for when you complete the campaign. This is despite the fact that I haven’t wiped out all factions yet.
@@N120Xeno ok I believe there may be a thing in the coding where if you completely beat a minor faction the games thinks you beat the campaign so that may be the issue
@ Have you encountered something like this before? I want to know if there’s a work around as the Hapes have been a constant thorn in my side for a while in my campaign and was looking forward to getting rid of them before fully focusing on the Rebellion, CSA, and the 3 Black Sun worlds that exist
@ it’s not something I have encountered personally, if you want you can join my discord which is in the description of most my videos and they can help, one thing you can do is conquer all of their planets except one and then on the last one conquer the space and leave a ship over the planet and they can’t build anything or ever leave the planet
@ Little bit of an update, I conquered Hapes orbit and destroyed the planet in the galactic map instead of in battle and I was able to continue the campaign as normal so I think the big might be random. I reported it to the discord for the mod and they said it was a known bug so hopefully it gets fixed

Something of note to add, you’re able to build an executor class dreadnaught if you have tech 3 for capital ships (you specifically build the Annihilator). However, you’re unable to upgrade Piett to Admiral as only 1 executor can exist on the galactic map
If you look closely there’s a tiny error in anakin’s lightsaber model from his padawan state. He’s using the one from episode two when he should already be using the one from episode 3 because the other one got cut by a machine from the geonosian droid factory.

Um.... Akakin has 3 stages, you have Padawan, then his Clone Wars General Stage (Jedi Knight?), then his late Clone Wars stage where.... he is not QUITE a Sith yet but he is getting their.
Tbh i think the General and Adult are meant to count as the same cause all Jedi were Generals during the war regardless if they were a Master or not Also i wonder who else would work Maybe Grevious? Also i dont think Darth Maul will be the case unless we have a 3rd faction because he was not with the CIS during the Clone Wars

@captonx2 yeah like No one for them makes sense for this tbh off the top of my head For the Republic Obi-Wan and Anakin make the most sense place any commanders but past that not sure Given everyone else is a master or knight and doesn't move up or they don't get much change
This seems a lot like "Star Wars Rebellion" game progression for Luke.
I bet the clone commanders will get phase 1 and phase 2 stages.
One unranked ship is the ion dreadnaughts from bel iblis. Definitely an A tier. Would love an updated tier list (even if its a bit quicker) as we have seen some major changes to the existing rebel roster with the justice and liberty buffs as well as the larger focus on smaller ships due to black sun buffs and the liberator nerf.
Just a quick correction: if you had looked at the third image in the Lucrehulk section, you'd see the textures are not bugged, as the first one is the Trade Federation Lucrehulk (which has the extra antennas on the back and didn't have CIS colours since the CIS didn't exist during Episode 1), and the second one is the CIS variant which came later on.

the Grapplers are from the Revenge of the Sith game and are not in the CW series also i would assume the ones with the giant cannons are the AT ones otherwise thats a big wrist rocket also the MMT seems interesting and a means for having a decent vehicle and infantry in one granted it just depends how good the MMT is other then as a tank
Question, if your companion is holding too many weapons will they not be allowed hold the flag?

Hey you haven't posted anything in some time. Hopefully your not dead or something. I have to ask do you have any idea when the next big update is. I know they usually have one in December. That's usually not save compatible. I want to do a let's play for the empire. And a person needs to plan it thoroughly. Before starting something like a grand expert campaign.
@@ObiKesnowbi haha all good man, ya around this time of year my upload count drops significantly, as far as I know there arnt plans on updating aotr. The next thing to come out likely next month or December will be the new aotcw mod which won’t affect aotr, if you have any more questions lmk

Very excited for this and the Lucrehulks surpisingly have less fighters then the AotR version Granted the numbers in said sqaudran might be larger Also really hope thwy are limited built caps because a swarm of those would suck so much like one mod where the AI spammed them after a certain point

@@captonx2 yeah true And oh jeez that's still a boss fight if all fight XD but yeah those sound good at the end of the day Also looking back These are still better because of the bombers they have access to As uh AotR Lucrehulk compliment is more for fighter attacks and that's about it Also I should mention It would mainly be a war of attrition at that point of having to go through multiple 45K+ health pools

@@captonx2 oh yeah no That's what should happen or what I do Use them as a blocker unit to make the AI not want to attack places That abd usually a ton of Dreadnoughts as the Rebels But my worry was more so the AI spamming them on higher difficulties and all

I want to say the Composite beam is basically a ANTI ARMOR laser, or a weaker Weapon version of the SPAT Cannon/Photon Beam ability. If I recall it does nothing to shields but if the shields are down it does a TON of damage to Hardpoints, and I think the more Armor it cuts into the better. Not entirely sure since less then handful ships have a Composite beam to begin with. But yeah.... its like someone weaponized a mining laser or something.
The only one i can think of is the Sabboth Mercenary and yeah it's situational from a description I saw

@jaywerner8415 looking at Prince Xizor It's the Refit Venator There is a CSA unit that has Cutting Lases which are similar but fighter only I believe
@@omega13whitelucario95 Well yeah, the Refits have the Spat Cannon. Their is a Cruiser that has a Composite beam, but I forget the name. its Brown, and I think Xisor can get the Corvette version of it.
@jaywerner8415 OH NO THATS THE HUTTS the Mere Cruiser, And on the game itself both are listed as Composite Beams for the Refit and the Mere but both are ability based vs the Sabaoth Mercanry Which those are the only three that have it and that's it
IMHO they should have been a T47 Airspeeder on the ground since they first debut at the Battle of Hoth.
They definitely could have given them t 47s since they did often fly them but 🤷♂️

Huh Interesting tbh I don't use air units often because of the AIs love for having some AA support Minus a handful of maps because if those have Shields up It makes them an absolute pain to be able to do anything there or gain any ground Rendalli I believe the name is is a major case of this Because of how many turrets they can set up and how big of an area the shield covers Fighters are necessary to break through, especially if it's the randomized start where if you corner the AI early enough, it becomes a pain with all their ground forces I also learned from that same one Nemoidia is a PAINFUL planet to try and take if starts with Turbolaser defenses
Rogue Squadron does have 1 campaign map mechanic, I believe: If you have them in a battle where you beat the Empire, and the Empire has the Deathstar in that battle, Rogue Squadron will kill the Deathstar.
They deserve that 10/10, i mostly use them on the ground, tho they can be quite helpfull in space early on. They can indeed kill a flak turret and even an AT-AA (flak version) AA missiles will kill them tho and its anoying to babysit them when the enemy does have good AA

Sadly with some recent balance changes for the Lancers, the mission is currently impossible. The lancers can fire from their starting position to just past the station, so once they're in system they open fire immediately if you take this route, and it only takes about 2 seconds for either ship to die.
@@leeionicatlas6461 this mission has completely changed as of two weeks ago with a new update, you can now bring in your own space forces as well as have the two heroes be invincible on easy difficulty

I think if you have two Justices and at least one unit with missile jammer and point laser defense you could severely reduce the amount of damage he should take when making an approach.

Sounds a lot like the Black Sun from AOTR, though I’m not sure if they have units/buildings that require multiple techs.
@@ZKP314 sounds like it but you can have all of the techs at once which is the major difference from black sun other than that ya pretty similar
Yeah the single Tech at a Time seems to be a bit balanced and also makes it to where the Computer cant just snowball into fully teched up very quickly Also yeah investing all into Capital ships is not the smart move Given they take up so much Pop to begin with and are expensive and take a while to build But this system seems very interesting and i cant wait to see how it all plays out
Im not a fan of that change, specialy in AotR, i don't want to wait my entire campaign to unlock all the units couse what am i even gonna do with em. I dont realy care as rebels, i can win big chungus in 40 weeks so the most usefull tech for rebels is infiltrators. But as imps i usualy have all the tech and some shipyards to to go with it by week 40 while the campaign takes about 100. Idk if the lack of tech will slow it down or encourage me to rush, but ill probably spend most of my campaign building techs... and don't even get me started on remnant/new republic techs. And i want the AI to tech up FASTER not slower ;( Maybe CIS will work differently since their tech system isn't like rebel or imps but i still have a feeling that ill win the campaign before i can mąkę use of all their units
@agentiq007 that's fair but also That's what some planets are for that speed up research times as well Plus the Black Sun is like this as well so I feel it's more balanced
@@omega13whitelucario95 well black sun can only use one tech at a time and their vigos speed them up so getting to tech 3 is realy fast. Now if you need 12 diferent techs its gonna take a heckin while, even on planets that speed up tech construction
@agentiq007 true But I feel it's still a nice balance especially on higher difficulties when the AI could just spam them before you have a good chance to do anything Actually wait thinking about it I do wish they were more split between space and ground but I feel that might not work fully
@@omega13whitelucario95 i for one like AI spamming techs. I remember my old imperial campaign where rebels made no techs and were spamming dreadnoughs and justices, that was boring AF. Also in my case its usualy the AI who doesnt have a much of a chance to do anything ;)
This guy and Tashkin for the Empire need a serious overhaul to make them feel far more effective.
I'm pretty sure on ground he has the rebel aerial transport.
Crix Madine, If I remember right he was a Storm Commando Commander. He is also a prominent Character in the Rogue Squadron Series of Video Games. (in the first you help him Defect, and then he is usually your superior for many missions in 2 and 3) Wait he's a Frigate Captain?! Why....... that is so dumb the only units that really benefit from that are MC30s with their torpedo spam and the Nebulon Bs since you will always have some in your fleet for Jamming purposes. He Probably SHOULD have a General bonus at least, since that is his Rank in Rogue Squadron "This is General Madine". Maybe give him some Elite Infantry that comes in with him, like a Sniper squad. The Rebels could use a early access to snipers, who better then a former Storm Commando? Otherwise, giving him a Infantry DISCOUNT or TRAINING SPEED bonus would be nice.
@@jaywerner8415 ya I made this video two months ago and after making the devs talked about how a lot of heroes don’t really bring anything special so there going to hopefully add some features to some characters.

being on a ship with a very niche purpose unfourtunally does that to you, not like he's commanding an MC80 Liberty but i agree with you on making him a raid unit, it'll improve on his utility even more
Yea, Crix needs some kind of change. Personaly i always wanted him to have a cruiser bonus since rebels don't have any heroes that buff cruisers and the frigate bonus is kinda useless. (It only works for those units : MC40 - good but hyper specalised, you don't need more then two, nebulon Bs - great, but again you don't need more then 3 and you don't bring them for their guns, quasars - lol, lmao even and last but not least, MC30s) I guess if you use nebs and MC30s in your fleet you can make some use of him, but i would still rather have someone who buffs dreadnoughs and assoult frigates. But now that i think about it, it would also be realy heckin cool, if he had like 3-4 infiltrator squads of various types, no stealth, just a way to bring multiple infiltrator squads in your standard field battle. And let him keep the MC40 i guess
It is not a tank, but a damage dealer, Venators are relatively squishy
I’m pretty comfortable with the one tech at a time change. I often find myself out-teched by the AI. This will help with my campaigns when my eco is pretty trash and my defenses are consistently harassed.
