His ultimate plan is wait til his daddy can get in deion ear and give him a starting spot. Unfortunately Kaleb is a career backup and special teams player. He's 2 short, 2 small etc to try 2 be at this level. He should've went 2 a lower level. Much better players already there such as a Kam mikell, and players coming in from portal. Kaleb should never see the field honestly.
He's one of my favorite players, he's a great player
What u mean Caleb play ass back.
Q Gibson is not a 3 star that boy is 5 star all over it . Them stars mean nothing
He said in one of his videos that he wanted to be in the front office of a NFL team. Which to me is the next best thing to be ing on someone’s roster IMO
Yes I was told that as well. And I agree with your assessment.
Ask his dad. Coach Mathis...why do y'all think you know more than they do
Bro I appreciate your comment. But what are you talking about?? Did you watch the video??? Damn the title of the video is an actual question. Meaning no one knows anything bro lol. This is why the QUESTION was even asked.
Kevin Mathis is Kaleb's dad...who is friends with Deion. They played together as members of the Cowboys...as corner backs. Then played in the league for 10 yrs. Kaleb grew up around the NFL locker room. He is not in awe of that life. He came to support his dad and Prime.
Yes I am 53 and a Cowboys fan. I know the whole story and back drop of it all. But he is an athlete and he bust his ass in practice. He also has aspirations' to play in the NFL. You do need playing for that to happen. But I can tell that you know your information lol.
I agree too I like him too 🙏😇
Yes lets hope that he rewarded a little. But I have liked him since I because familiar with him last year.
That kid is destined to be a coach
I agree.
Good 👍🏾
Thank you bro!
Kaleb would be good possession receiver. Just lacks the speed for his size.
I agree with everything that you said bro. And this is the exact role that I think that he can have for CU.
Kaleb is with family learning and growing. He will not transfer. Kaleb will earn his degree and take a professional position maybe in football.
I feel and I believe that your right. But he also has aspirations to play in the NFL. So this is why this is a topic for me.
Kaleb knows the NFL is a long shot for him. So he's actually in a good position. He is able to get a free education, plus collect a check he doesnt need to use, plus he travels and can play special team and practice. Plus if hes trying to be a GM, he can build relationship and learn the game just by keeping himself in position. Smart move by Kaleb
Damn great comment and I totally feel and understand that your making. I actually like this idea as a whole. BUT he is an athlete and he does want to play in the NFL one day. And to do that he has to play. But I do love your comment.
Y'all know his Pops the DB coach
Yes I said that his dad is a coach there in the video. His dad is an ex NFL player.
Either stay around & enjoy the team festivities while getting his degree or hit the portal to get some pt elsewhere 🤷🏾♂️
Yes that's what the video was about.
Sometimes when a player is not as good at a sport and he is still in it, he/she most times are very good in being a future coach job.
Yes I agree with you. But do you think that he will eventually at CU?
Kaleb is 💯 going to stay in CU, and grind for a spot. Coach Prime has said many a times that "Ultimately it doesn't matter how many Stars you have as a Recruit, it matters how much of a Dawg you have in you." Like his father Coach Mathis, Kaleb has aspirations to go Pro, but he's also said that if it doesn't work out he would like to be behind the scenes in a Mgt. or Coaching situation like his Dad. With Coach Prime pretty much being his Uncle, and with his father's reach in Dallas, and now in Colorado that's most likely Kaleb's path
@@ericsalazar6712 This was well said and well explained. And everything you said made since. But at the moment he’s in college and at the moment he’s an athlete. And as an athlete that works hard like he does. I’m sure that he wants to play as well. He’s not doing all of that grinding just to watch all the time. I’m definitely hoping they find a way to get him some touches.
Kaleb goal is to be a GM and getting the experience as a player, watching and going through the development process, being under the coaching staff and learning will make him an Amazing GM and I know Coach Prime will make sure he gets whatever he needs to be successful
@@Simplylee1916 Yes I have heard that as well. But right now he’s in college and he is an athlete right now and I’m sure that also wants to play. But o do get your point.
I find your commentary about Kaleb very interesting. I have been thinking the same thing. With all the talent coming in from high schools & the portal, he's gonna be overshadowed again. I also like this young man & believe he could contribute to their passing game, but it looks like he might get lost in the shuffle. I appreciate your insight about him.
@@jamesfarmer2830 I really appreciate that bro. I have been watching him since last year and I have always liked him and I have been a fan and I have always hoped that they put him in the game plan. We will see what happens this year. And I appreciate the compliment!
@@HUNT919TruthSports Hello my dude, love your take on Kaleb Mathis, also. Love this young dawg from first following CP. He is definitely, one of the players of the Foundational Coach Prime historic JU & CU team. Seems his parents did a good job with he & his lil brother. Quiet, deep thinker, with a lions heart. Hope he realizes that we fans see him & wish him these best in his adult career. Whatever he chooses to do. On another note, Thank you sir for not feeding off of this #12 personal life drama..... Happy holidays Buff Fans!
@@nia-d3x I appreciate the compliment bro. And yes he's a dog and I see it in him as well. This is why I did a segment on him last year and this year. We are both hoping he gets rewarded with catches this year. And for #12 I made the decisions that I will not make any segments on him and his relationship. I appreciate you noticing that I haven't done anything on that. Yes it was a consciousness decision
This Young Guy Works and Learns on the Daily!... He works alot with Sheduer and the other receivers and has been down to Florida with Sheduer to work out with Cam Ward also...
@@vernondavis154 And this is why I’m a big fan. I said in the video that he works and never complains. Coaches and players love this type of player and want to see him do well.
Let’s keep it Colorado big! I didn’t een watch this one
@@SincereTheGeneral lol lol why not???? Lol
@@HUNT919TruthSports CU and Coach Prime info bring the attention…just my humble opinion big dawg 👊🏿
Kaleb Waffle House Mathis is my favorite CU player. On one of the well off videos that talked about him wanting to be a coach and a GM. I saw him on special team this year make some great tackles especially in the oK State game. I really to see him blow up this year.
@@medstayinc5589 Yes bro I’m a fan as well! This is why I created the segment hoping that he can get some time this year. But he may have to go elsewhere to play.
To get an education... if he wants playing time, he will transfer to an HBCU or FCS program he's not awful by along shot but he needs to focus on his education and what's after college like the majority of kids...💯💯💯
@@terryjones662 Well said and great points. I do point someone of these things out in the video. And I speak on him being a good player in the video.
I think some forget that college is NOT just about football. If I’m correct, Kaleb is majoring in engineering and rocking a 4.0 GPA “I think”. At any rate, he and his family are scholars. That’s something we don’t discuss and I think we should bring that into play because everyone is NOT going to pro. Furthermore, the education aspect is the main reason for any college student. Another thing to point out is that he’s at an awesome university. It’s a prestigious university with much to offer and everyone does not have that opportunity to attend such a university.. I personally believe that he would be doing a disservice to himself if he left even if he decides not to play ball.
@@pershingrifles4735 Yes I say these things in the video. You responded to the title and not to the actual video. And that’s ok.
Great info
Caleb just needs to get stronger and develop his body. If Caleb went to TCU he would have played early but may not have been ready there either. He's not going anywhere.
I love that kid. Him and O
@@wezhira4107 Me to man. In the video I say that I’m a fan and I want to see him do well and get in some games.
I hope to see him on the field this year
@@myrawallace7417 Yes I do as well! I’m pulling for him.
I never knew he didn't play Highschool ball because he look good when he play for cu.
He played in Highschool.
I don’t think him or his brother will play at CU they’re kinda stuck honestly
@@TayskiGamingTv I definitely understand exactly what your saying.
Bro you suggested this man leave Colorado lmfao . Yall be wanting content just talkin bout anything …. That’s his father bra . You think he leaving lmfao 😂😂😂
@@JUDAH144ISRAEL You clearly didn’t listen to the video and it’s cool bro smh. And yes everything is about content. I also created a video titled “15 things that you should do before you enter the transfer portal. You probably didn’t watch. You clearly just responded to the title and not the video smh. Listen to the whole video bro. I’m smarter than that. I actually don’t like the transfer portal. But you have to talk about it todays sports world. And honestly Kaleb is not huge context. I just happen to like him and I tell you why in the video. I also made a video on how m last year because I like him. Know me better bro. Take the time to listen.
It's weird how Quentin Gabriel is a 3star player but dominated 5star players in the Championship game🤔 (7 catches for 181 and 3tds)
@@leroysanders3564 Yes after doing research on him and seeing everyone talks about how good and he citing that he was. I was a lil surprised to see him as a 3 star as well.
@@leroysanders3564 he didn’t get recognized until the desoto game , and he played db last year
@@playamadetx5279 Yeah but, how do you not get noticed breaking Texas high school receiving records? (Cee Dee Lamb I heard)
Jimmy Horn is not that big and tall, wes welker is not that fast, Kaleb was 3 Star coming out of high school. The problem is that CP was padding Shaduer’s stats by throwing the long ball. Hopefully now that Shaduer is gone, the offense scheme will change to ball control and Time-of-Possession, instead of “Hero Ball.” That way, a route runner like Kaleb will be more integrated in the offense
I agree with you. But you named 2 players that he couldn't be out either. Jimmy was the fastest on the team. Welker was proven on the Div 1 level with over 1,000 yards the year before he came to CU and this year over 800 yards this season. Now you have guys with a lot of talent are coming in which is why I thought about what are they planning to do with Kaleb. I'm a fan of his and I want to see him play.
He and brother are very small but big hearted. If he wants on field time he may end up at G5 or HBCU.
I was thinking HBCU as well. I was actually Jackson State IF he somehow decided to leave.
Actually he will see the field next season just like the two way player. Both of them been on kickoff. The freshman and sophomore don’t really see the field like that. It’s mainly jr and sr year. Sophomore and freshman year it’s more of getting the feel for game and development.
@davlet53209 they shouldn't see the field at all except special teams. They both 2 small, undersized, 2 short, 2 light. They belonged as walkons at best as a much lower level.
They have Farakan too
I am not familiar with him.
@HUNT919TruthSports he's a wr/te from Texas HS great pickup
He may make his bones on Special Teams, he will make it to the league as a special teamer then get promoted to slot receiver. He will be a good pro.
I am a fan of his. But how do you see the pros?
Must get bigger and stronger. I said that his freshman yr
I also have done videos saying that sometimes it's not your time until your later years in college. Sometimes you have to wait grind and develope.
Those old HS tapes of the Sanders family you can see little Kaleb on the team. He is family and has a spot.
Yes I am sure. Do you think that he will eventually play?
@@HUNT919TruthSports yes he will get action in the slot offensively. Otherwise he is special team starter.
He wants to be a coach I heard his dad is the wr coach
Yes his dad is there and yes he wants to be a coach. But do you think that he will play at CU?
@ nah but I don’t see him leaving unless he wanna ball out for his sr year and going back to Jackson st rq
He a baller on the low
Yes and you and I know that. This is why I want him to play!
You should have just listened to your coach...
@@wandasmith5243 What do you mean bro?
Also, he laid somebody out on kickoff team this year. Looked like 250lb linebacker hit that kid... 😤. 🤯
He was also the first player to record a tackle for CU their 1st year at TCU on the kick off.
I messaged him last year because I believe the something you do. It might not be until his senior year or graduate year that his body really matures, and he forces himself on the field. He'll be fine, though, he's got the right mindset and attitude. Looking forward to seeing him get on a practice squad and get into the league that way. #maybedrafted
@@QuietlyLegendary Yes so we both agree on his potential if and when given the chance. But I don’t see league in his future. Tho I could be wrong. U never know.
I don’t think he will make the league he just doesn’t have that type of talent. I mean Weaver was the best receiver we had in 2023 and he can’t even make it on the field for the cardinals.
@@HUNT919TruthSports Only time will tell.
Kaleb is a good hands player. Did you see that hit he put on Oklahoma State on kick-off. He can play just need the opportunity.
@@cmotown1 Yes I agree with you. I said that in the video. I made a segment on him last year.
He said he want to be a general manger for the NFL, when he graduate
@@ariesbanes Ok that’s makes sense then. He’s just there to enjoy the ride while playing the game that he loves.
He’s a bum like his dad lol
Kaleb got good hands, just have to beat out the competition.
@@anthonybarksdale350 But it’s some good ass competition lol.
If he didn't redshirt in 2024 I hope he redshirts in 2025 and then graduate Colorado early so he can transfer to maybe Colorado State or Georgia State type of school to play his final two years of eligibility
@@The-Man-Right-Chea Bro I was thinking that he could transfer to Jackson State. They just won the national championship for HBCU.
He gone be a coach he’s gaining all the knowledge in the background!
@@DanDefine Excellent point!! And your probably right.
😂😂😂
A coach 😂, you need a helmet
Facts
I was hoping that he redshirted last year because he was hurt half the year. I know he played some but I hope he didn't play more than 4 games to reserve a year because I could see him getting meaningful snaps his redshirt junior and senior season
@@The-Man-Right-Chea Yes I see what u see. And that’s why I created this segment. Because I don’t see football in his future while at CU.
Dylan basically got used...tbh
Why do you say that he got used?? He could have easily stayed at Notre Dame.
