Making the move from CU to SDSU for a scholarship is a classic case of being penny wise but pound foolish. In this offensive scheme, Mikey would have really stood out, particularly as a reliable option for short yardage conversions or touchdowns. The scholarship money might seem substantial, but it pales in comparison to the recognition he could have gained by remaining at CU.

He made the right move by leaving because he received a scholarship, and CUs current offense does not use the Y TE or the H Back. Harrison caught more balls at SDSU this year than all the Buffs TEs combined. All TEs combined caught less than 10 passes and were targeted less than 10 times all year. CUs offense is not TE friendly, and they run 11 & 12 personnel less than 5% of all their offensive formations and only caught 2% of passes on offense. TEs at CU get most of their playing time on FG Extra Pt and special teams than they do on offense. FACTS. Harrison's issue is his weight and blocking capabilities. He is only 220 at best. A TE/H Back's primary mission is blocking/sealing the edge first. He caught a lot of balls because of Sean Lewis. Although an excellent receiver, He became a liability in the run game and in pass pro.
@@coachj5995 You broke this down so beautifully. And you are right on all accounts. And The running backs are treated the same as the tight ends to be honest. And I knew that they were not happy with his blocking. Great comment.
@@HUNT919TruthSports Agreed 100% I am a Coach Prime fan and support the Buffs. CU must find ways to integrate the TEs, RBs, and 2nd & 3rd team WRs into the rotation as an active part of the offense. Otherwise, they are wasted positions in the offensive gameplan, and you end up with tons of talent on the bench not being developed. I was always told that a 1st team starter is only as good as a 2nd or 3rd team player once fatigue sets in. its vital to get backups in the game at strategic times in the game. It keeps the defense guessing because they may have not scouted them. Not having active TEs in the run and passing game make the offense too predictable. Especially in short yardage situations. Good teams use their TEs a lot and in multiple formations and situations. Lastly, CU needs to do a better job "feeding the hot hand" when it comes to RBs. Micah and Agustave would get hot at times and seem to be in the zone and would get pulled or the run play calls ceased. When i played we would run the same run play back-to-back until they stopped it if our RB was hot! Just my observations. I hope they turn it loose in the bowl game! Keep up the good content! I love what yall do!

Truth. You gone get lost in the transfer portal or die in it. Sitting on the couch.
@@EHKTVE YES LORD see you know exactly what I am talking about in my segments! Well said bro.
Casualty of not understanding the business he was having success needed to keep digging he would of gotten it! Look at Charlie
I understand what your saying. But maybe he tried waiting and he was scared to wait on a "maybe"
you can't compare his receptions to how much receptions the top TE get...how many receptions did CUs TE get? I bet Mikey got more than all of them lol Also, as much as I like him, I don't see him going to the NFL, so get your scholarship and education imo
It wasn't necessarily a comparison. But it was a way of showing how much he was not being used at his position. And the CU tight ends were not being used this year either. Listen we are Michael fans bro, We are not against him lol, This is why a segment was done on him.
He left for a scholarship so he played the short game instead of long game. CU desperately needed a TE & he could've mage his mark for NFL draft & NFL money if that was his goal to get to the NFL.
I don't know about the draft and the NFL. but they definitely could have used him at Colorado. I believe that instead of holding that ball as long he as holding it that Michael could have been that outlet that he needed.
Players transfer all the time from school to school thanks to the portal. If we're going to having an honest discussion let's look at all transfers, not only transfers from Colorado Buffs.
@@marie6885 I am going to do a segment on the players going into the portal soon. But I’m only 1 guy. I have been working on it. And a lot of what I say I attribute it to players as a whole. But with the buffs getting so much attention. You can send the message by using them as an example. Believe I think of these things when I’m working on segments. But I do feel you.
Prime time can’t win he’s held accountable for everything even things he has no control over smh
@@Waldon612 We are just speaking on facts that’s all. And the head coach has control over a lot of things. No one is downing Prime. We are just speaking on what Michael said that happened that’s all.
Terrible decision: He should've stayed put
But what about the free education?? What would you tell your kid to do??
He ruined having a shot at the league!
I don't know about that. Who said that he was a prospect anyways. And he still has 1 year left.
Yeah he should a stayed at Colorado. He goofy.
I agree! He definitely would have helped them this season. I was surprised that he left and I was surprised as to why he left when I found out.
How does it make sense football wise if Colorado threw 8 passes to tight ends this season? 🤷🏾♂️ There’s a reason tight ends bolted from Boulder. Leaving was a smart decision.
It's almost the same as to why the running backs left Colorado. And some may leave again this year.
Tell what other team in FBS would have a solid TE that scored 5TDs the previous season, isnt a troublemaker and still wouldnt offer that guy a scholarship the next season...Coach Prime is an unloyal Clown coach, Ive never seen a coach disrespect College football players in so many ways, not giving scholarships to productive players, not giving Practice tape to outgoing players he forced out, verbally abusing former players on Twitter, creating an atmosphere of Nepotism this Coach is the biggest fraud in college football history...Hes the worst example for young men Coach Prime is one of those PHONY CELEBRITY Christians, hes a Television pastor....Hes an egomaniac, and a hateful man
I respect your opinion and I have heard other say things similar to what you are saying. And I cant say that I fully agree nore fully disagree. Do I think that Michael deserves that scholarship over someone like Charlie? Absolutely I do. Michael was more productive and actually helped CU win games and he also helped with Shedeurs passing yards.
he wasn't loyal
Scholarship MORE important.
This is a business
@@kp6042 You have to explain why you feel that way bro. I disagree. But I want to hear your side.
@@mteokay1246 I agree
Coach Prime isn't loyal, he also doesn't understand good football...Hes been disloyal and hurtful to many players especially the ones he has exiled from the program....Hes shown lots of Nepotism, he's created a victim mentality around his team, an arrogant selfish group that lacks accountability....Honestly, he's been a terrible leader of young men...Awful....
Colorado fans are so wierd 😂
They are passionate bro that's all.
Travis Hunter is a liability on defense, he is scared to tackle running backs or any ball carrier breaking into the clear....Look at him on tape this season its pitiful
It's ridiculous how much yall love to lie....🤡
@@analyticalinsight I can’t say that bro. He’s in on a lot of tackles and he has ran down some guys and prevented some touchdowns. He hustles. He doesn’t try to be the hottest that Shilo is tho lol.
@thrashmatrix101inc6 Nobody is lying, I work in an NFL scouting department and I personally was assigned to the Big 12....Hunter has some awful tape on defense...Sure he has made some nice interceptions on defense, and he's got good ball skills, but still gets beat in coverage, but once someone has the ball via hand-off, screen pass, dump to the flat or crosser, Hunter is nowhere to be found, yea he might chase someone down but when he has to step up and tackle in the open field or break down on aball carrier, it doesn't happen, he makes sure to get blocked and never gets off any blocks...Its honestly embarrassing some of the tape he's got...Look at the Kansas game, Texas tech game, Baylor game, K State game, North Dakota state game, Nebraska game & Cincinatti game....Tape don't lie...No way I would take him in top 10 of the draft...You cannot play that way in the NFL
@@analyticalinsight😂😂😂
@@analyticalinsight Honestly, tell me how many receivers caught balls on him in 12 games? I think he got beat on a TD once? No one threw to him.
