    lol, I was going to point out that you're being unusually concise in this video, right before you started criticizing yourself; it's a lot easier to build your presentation than your body, and you're working both well so far. I'm here to see how the Mediterranean girl is doing, not for a post-grad lecture, you're good just sharing what's on your mind. And speaking as someone who enjoys making his self-image a watercolor via wardrobe, I highly recommend figuring out which shades you are at all times, more colors, more expression, more of everything.. 🎨❤

    My morning routine as an Amazon employee with 10 hour shifts is starting work 40 minutes after getting out of bed, coffee two hours later, food another two hours after that; you ride that initial up--and-at-'em impulse to go hard the first couple of hours and then coast downhill the rest of the day, otherwise you'll burn out with hours to go. The concept of having a moment in a work morning to so much as assess myself is bizarrely foreign, if I had extra time in the morning I would just use it to sleep in longer. Are you a coffee person? Do you relate to any of this?

    • @sia_and_her_journal
      @sia_and_her_journal 27 днів тому

      Yeah, it's not feasible for everyone. Unless you make it a commitment to get up even earlier than when you're working, which might already be super early for some people, so that doesn't help lol. It's shift work that makes it a big challenge, imo. I definitely wasn't doing morning routines when I was doing diff shifts every other day, so 100% can relate. Maybe try a night one? 😄 I'm not a coffee person, but I'm drinking coffee atm.

    The whole concept of templates doesn't really work at this point, western culture has become so tentative and transitory that you have name-famous software engineers who get fired by email. In the US we've decided to change one of the two Presidential candidates four months before the election, long after the primaries and debates. I would argue that adaptation is now as important as critical thinking, because the conclusion you correctly came to yesterday may not apply today.. 📆❤

    • @sia_and_her_journal
      @sia_and_her_journal 29 днів тому

      @socalwill9876 yes precisely, the whole point here is to adapt to the new way of doing life. But first, you need to determine what you need to be doing differently (that works for you) in the first place!

  • @socalwill9876
    @socalwill9876 29 днів тому

    It's stochastic ; if you make two wheels out of stone and roll them together long enough, each eventually wears until they contact one another smoothly and perfectly - the same is true of you and your approach to the day, let each gradually hone and refine the other until it's a seamless experience 📆❤

    Conflicting beliefs can create confusion, and in that state, our belief systems can control us. This can lead to a false sense of integrity. When we take control of our beliefs and our responses, we can ask ourselves crucial questions: Where did this belief come from? How old was I when I adopted it? Who influenced me? I agree, truth is essential. Everything is built on some foundation of truth. However, truth can be complex, with layers of lies built on top of truths, and vice versa. Sometimes, when I feel mentally tangled, I simply step back from agreeing or disagreeing. This allows me to clear my head and approach the situation with a more open mind not puckered up. My thoughts on your thoughts.. I don't even know where I was going with this.
