In these kind of numbers, I would rather prefer melee over resistance. I think that dps power will drastically make a difference in those situations (typically for scenarios like in the first round)

Did you just ignored Forgetfullness (?) spell from the lvl 3 order magic in your second round? It's just pure OP, ok, it wouldn't work on that catapult :D But it might've been a gamechanger.
