Heroes of Might and Magic IV is a turn-based strategy game developed by Gus Smedstad through New World Computing and published by the 3DO Company for Microsoft Windows-based personal computers in 2002. A Macintosh port was subsequently developed by Contraband Entertainment and released by the 3DO Company. The fourth installment of the popular Heroes of Might and Magic franchise, it is the sequel to Heroes of Might and Magic III, and was the last to be developed by New World Computing. - Ігри
Look how they massacred my boy.
0 because of the nerf😂😂
How is the -7 weekly grow supposed to be balanced? It wasn't a particularly strong unit before anyway. Besideds, in this video the unit often doesn't use the wait command when it could utilize it for being able to strike first in the next combat round as it is faster than the enemy unit.
From one of the better units in its tier to total garbage...Poor girls
The weakest link in Equilibris mode!
Why would they nerf them so much
Because Sprites are one of the strongest tier one units. They have really high movement and speed as well. They are good at going around grabbing materials on world map and due to their high speed Sprites can abuse the wait command against almost anything with their no-counter passive. In a player's hand a single Sprite could easily kill 100 earth elementals due to their speed/movement difference. Sprites simply wait, attack the enemy without counterattack, then the next turn starts and due to their high speed they start the turn so they can fly away to safe distance.
@@Tomisan021 that means harpies must have gotten nerfed as well, damn
@@SPexHoS2137 Lolno
@@Tomisan021 Weekly growth doesn't affect their ability to grab things on the world map, you need only a few for that. And the strike without retaliation and flying back trick only works when you're fighting against a single enemy stack, and only against slow walking enemies.
I think this is a mistake mods often make, they see some edge cases where something is overpowered, and to prevent those rare occurrences from happening they nerf that something, but forget to take into account how this nerf will also affect all the regular gameplay.

1.) Weekly growth doesn't affect world map: true, that was just a side mention of how versatile Sprites are.
2.) The no retaliation+fly back only works on slower/walking enemies: This is the key part. If this condition is met (and not just against tier1, but even higher tier enemies!) Sprites can kill any number of enemies WITHOUT SUFFERING ANY losses. Compared to any other tier 1 units all of them start to suffer losses from enemy retaliations. On the long term you lose any other tier 1 unit quantities, but not Sprites.
In my opinion the intent was that since Sprites don't generate as much casualties as other tier 1 units, their "casualties"' became the reduced number in their growth. It means in the long term you may lose 5-6 wolves, 5-10 bandits after a fight and Sprites "lose" 6 units with their less growth making them more equal in quantity after multiple turns.
they seriously nerfed her growth too much
I don't understand why, this units not even strong
You cannot get worse than that... right? Huh...
Bruh, I never realized they suck so much
I always replaced wolves for something else, better replaces these useless pixies now
edit:
nvm, realized that it's a mod
