The Good, The Bad and The Ugly (Opening Credits)
Think that people see all these actors and actresses is scripted and a paid working job
Fantastic acting. Great laughs again. I cannot decide what womble Brian reminds me of. 🤣
Emily should have told interferring Deirdre. Look if you think Arnold is so wonderful why don't you have Him. Because that's what I'd say if she was my Mate
I'm heading through to December - not sure I can stomach a Tilsley wedding.
I'd always envisioned Hilda having an affair and eloping with Eddie.
Jean Alexander's performance as Hilda here is beautiful. She's subtly changed as a character. No longer quite the nagging and gossiping shrew that she was. She's had the stuffing knocked out of her by Stan's death and seems to have somehow aged slightly and become more reflective. Her old life is gone and now she knows she needs to find another. There are still some flashes of the old Hilda though.
Does anyone know the reason that the actor who played Audrey was away
Eddie looks like he hasn't washed his clothes since the year dot ... I'm surprised Annie Walker didn't exclude him.
Tiresome, condescending workman making fun of Mavis ... men's casual attitude to women back then.
How did it take 3 years for this to classic to appear on my feed. What fabulous writing that was SO underestimated in its day. It's fair to say CS is still on the TV today. But it's full of lurid storylines that have no relation to the outstanding observational script of its era. Listening in to what people say amongst themselves today wouldn't be permitted.
Gail makes me sick n all
I thought Gordon was maggies ,son
Love Terry and kevin and ahe sold kevin 13 coronation st
It was great until shouty Kevin Webster 's arrival,
Omg ..kens Scottish daughter is horrendous...that voice and dreadful acting drives me MAD
Emily's a Magnate for Wrong'ns!!! wouldn't slash on Her if she was on fire.. what a f Freak!
Ol' Bet was a petty tart 😅. No wonder men almost always treated her poorly
God Mike is a smarmy git
So politically uncorrect twas MARVELLOUS
TWIGGY! Hilda singing a TREAT if one is deaf
Aye up Bert!
More like the late 50s. Took until the late 80s early 90s before things changed
Gail does to me what nails being dragged down a blackboard does. Drives me nuts
Bett looks beautiful on her wedding
I was very impressed with the way that Mike handled Ken in the Rovers. He never allowed the earlier punch to intimidate him, but instead spoke his mind right to his face! That took courage. It would have been easy to take the cowardly way and remain silent, but instead Mike made the most of the opportunity and said what needed to be said, which rightly included reminding Ken what a lousy father he is!
Ken is so wrong to be carrying on like this. The most important day of his daughter's life should be way more important than his petty quarrels with Mike. He wants to try growing up a bit and accept the fact that he cannot control the uncontrollable. Susan is old enough to make her own decisions and is quite at liberty to choose the man she wants to marry. That does not need to meet with anyone else's approval, not even her father's! Very well said though by Peter towards the end there. Ken needed telling!
Been watching this playlist for the past two weeks because I can't stand hearing about the 2024 election a minute longer 😡. I've never been so relaxed. Thanks very much ❤. Having said that, the guy from Pennsylvania visiting Hilda changed his accent three times in 2 lines
Fred must be a right clown if he thinks susie is interested in him
Thank you from Australia 🇦🇺
Ken Barlow 🤢
Liz has a very nice apt and furniture
Joseph and his hair of many colors... 🤣🤣🤣🤣
Betty is the only one who treats eddie with any respect
Im guessimg a pound was worth a lot of money inthem day's
Everyone needs a Bet Lynch in their life
Since I have started watching these older episode's, I can't stand Rita. I used to like her, but now she is nothing but a self centered cow. Spiteful money grabbing cow.
Blimey, after so many years of classic characters, 1985 did bring in so many forgettable, dull characters.
So Peter & Suzan had really strong Scottish accents, and now they're gone??
When I was at catholic school I was in the nativity scene and all the kids were teasing me. The nun said “Denise, you hold your head up your playing a very important role, being the donkey you share your hay with baby Jesus “ 🤣 Gail saying about Nicky reminded me ❤
Start of twitter
Anne Kirkbride what an amazing actress bless her heart ❤️
Crykes Were copped!! Fredrick. 😅
I’ve seen wounds better dressed than Fred, lol, that really made me laugh
Loved Hilda and Stan.
Much better characters back then
Thank you from Australia 🇦🇺 As much as I complain about the script writers I still love this show
Elsie: "its not my place to tell..." _...after telling ivy (the _*_WORST_*_ person to tell)_
Not a big fan of Ray but I do feel sorry for him the way they treat him
It's unusual seeing Mike and Ken as friends. Who would have forcieved the rivalry and bitterness that was to come between them over Derdre
The ogdens should have had there own spin of show
