Nice review! I agree with a majority of your comments. This Cavs summer league team doesn’t look like the. The Coaches have any strategy to their play. Additionally, the Cavs’ team doesn’t appear to be as talented as last summer. This squad seems to have just have been thrown the ball and told “play ball!” All of the players who were playing on the summer squad last season appeared to be getting groomed for the varsity but this season it seems like the club has already decided that none of them are worthy of being elevated. Where is Isiah Mobley, Sam Merrill, and Jerome? They showed promise but needed to be in need of a little more exposure. And what about more playing time for DJ Burns? I suspect that he is not in Cavs plans although he can bring more muscle to their roster.
