Do you recon a mixture of diesel and gas would be a good way to fuel my moped? Gas is getting expensive.

How is you're throttle linkage connected? Can you post a couple pictures? I got my son a carb kit and running into some issues

So at what point in the video did you actually start running it on diesel ? In case you didn't already know, there's a few differences between kerosine and diesel

How did you find that throttle linkage..? I have the carb but don’t have the Goped linkage to go with it..!

can it start without a battery or cdi? i mean diesel ignites by compression not spark?

to run on kero you need a hot box to vapourise it usually started on petrol until the hot box was sufficiently heated petrol a switched off and keo switched on ,many old cars from the 20s and 30s could do this as well as tractors .usually it was power kero used NOT the usual household one ,but again it must start on petrol

Love your videos. I just got a Goped Geosport. It was mostly in a box. I put it together and even rode it some. I was hoping you had a video on installing handlebar clutch. I have no idea how it connects to engine. Any help or advice would be awesome.

old vid I know. I wouldn't "ignore the arrow" on the piston unless it has a zero offset pin. Which I would put money on that it has an offset. especially if you see an arrow. The whole rings catching the port thing sounds like BS and ignores the whole reason for engineering the offset in the first place. It has something to di with the geometry and that the piston "stops" at TDC and BDC. Sure it probably runs, but you're not doing the thing any favors.

Just pucked up.a bine stock bigfoot. Eanting to do a sport build, nothing too crazy. First time owner but not new to 2 strokes. Also, the bars are loose/sloppy a bit. How do i fix this?

You should never have to hammer anything to an engine together… you’ve lost it.

So on the transaxle you swap the top pulley with the V belt not the pulley with the cog belt?

I bet if you replaced the spark plug with a glowplug to get it started, you could convert a small 2 stroke to diesel. Run the glow plug long enough for the engine to warm up enough then it will run on residual heat.

Cut the metering spring is something I hadn't heard of. I bent the metal piece holding the needle so that it opened sooner. It helped to add more fuel but it wasn't easy to tune accurately. It was often too rich on low and mid throttle. Does cutting the spring shorter have the same negative effects?

I have some questions. You seem to be the guy who may have the answers lol I'm working on my red goped sport, I believe it's a Gen2... Anyway I have a cy27 engine I put on it but I can't run the stock exhaust, it doesn't fit the sport.. also would the ada clutch kit benefit me? Cause it seems to me it makes it slower by the videos I've seen but not sure.

1:30 & 2:00 You can probably save your frame from cuts! Instead of a gusit, you cud probably put a door hinge & save your current clutch, with a Chinese one & make it extra compact w/the new hinge :D I'm just spit balling tho & seeing what sticks!
