Let me know if there's any important side quests I missed! 00:45 - Faction Quest (Level 17) 01:47 - Mount Quest (Level 20) 02:24 - Give a Dog a Bone (Level 23) 03:12 - Story of the Stones (Level 32) 04:05 - Grizzly Neighbors (Level 29) 04:54 - Archdeacon Azamela (Level 43) 06:34 - Silver Crows Satchel (Level 60)
There's a side quest involving housing items at around level 15ish. It appears as a main story icon but it ends up giving you a free chest for your home. That's worth doing just for the additional storage.
The most important side quests are the brimstone ones that reward Writ of Adventure, which you need to upgrade your heartrune to legendary. They usually cost 1000 gold and 20.000 faction tokens at faction vendors, but a bunch of Brimstone quests reward these.
If it’s on your way do every side quest you can. The territory standing will increase your storage and $$. In the beta low level side quests gave 11to15 gold. So it adds up.
I thought faction opened when you got to a certain part of the MSQ. It seemed to open for me when I finished the Monarch Bluffs portion and I was tasked to go find the old man. Another important bonus for joining a faction is the faction vendor will sell you gear that is almost certainly a huge upgrade over what you have at that point. It only takes like the first 3 missions and you should have enough coin. Gathering tools too.
Worth doing if you're a fishing enjoyer - it can get you a free legendary fishing pole! I just know fishing is a big "hit or miss" with most people haha!
It's probably not efficient but I like to do all 3 factions starter quest strings until the point they are all at the selection point, then pick one to join and continue.
Apparently it’s super efficient they’ll way you did. Whenever you decide to faction flip you can just sign up, as opposed to having to having to run a lvl 17 quest for sake of doing the unlock stuff.
Completed 'pirates will pirate' but where the hell is Taslav Gurkin? EDIT: I found him. I looked it all up online. It would be nice though if you atleast gave the location of each npc.
I’m sure you’ll still end up automatically getting flagged, but haven’t tested it! Technically even if I’m not “flagged” and I walk into it, I still auto get flagged, and factions don’t have any role in the new PvP zone. Great question though - could be interesting!
You don’t need to join a faction. There is enough xp just in the msq to get you to 65. So if you don’t like pvp, the constant harassment to join pvp or want to wait and see what faction is on top in a few weeks it’s ok to ignore joining a faction.
Yeah I would take this guys advice. I went green but the server is predominantly purple owning most territories and yellow. I think we lost our only territory the other day and in faction chat they all were talking about how trash green is to each other 😂😂😂
A ported PC game that spent 3 years milking their customers with microtransactions, while delivering poor updates filled with bugs and delays. Has now abandoned these players for a much more lucrative option, milking console kids from their milk money. Good luck manifesting a playable end game without latency, desync and aim-lock. That's not filled with bots and off shore buying and selling. Also, good luck getting into a war where only a low percentage of people ever get to experience. Enjoy paying those high taxes and the controlled crafting, while feeding that small percentage even more of your gold. So much that the gold distribution actually works against the community and the game's end game.
The game is releasing to console tomorrow, and ALL console players will automatically have the ability to unlock mounts. There is a very small amount of the community (returning PC players who never bought angry earth expansion) that won't be able to even get the "New World: Aeternum" expansion. If you are one of these people, and you plan on playing, it's worth paying for the expansion. All specific details can be found on nwdb.com if you want to take a deeper look - the goal of this video is a quick overview and heads up, not step-by-step on how to do each ;)
@@hoeyd ok so the whole repackaging of the game is not meant to draw back previous players on pc then ? and have to pay another amount of money to not be 'useless'

@tienee4927 how the hell did you play new world without the expansion? Clearly you stopped playing way before the expansion, because if you did play the game as most people did, you would have came back for the expansion, but you didn't. So stop complaining. The fact that you're complaining about mounts...yeah, you're way out of the loop and it's no one's fault but your own.

Ooo super good to know - thanks for sharing!
If you hover over it it says "skill progression" not msq

Good add!
where is the music quest for the flute?
All I’ve found is lots of “Go there, find something and bring it back “ quests
When you complete the fishing skill quest chain you get a super nice item level 600 fishing pole.
Very true. Good add, I missed that one!
Can you have 3 satchels with extra pockets on them and they add stack to gether
Yes

I agree but they are very repetitive so just dont feel like you are obligated to do them all

Ayyyyy congrats man :)
The first season quest also gives you a purple satchel.

It unlocks once you hit a certain level, you probably happened to hit that level when you got to that quest
Could you please show the locations for these quests a little better???
Exact locations of these can be found right on NWDB if more info is needed. Next time I do one of these I’ll include a map!
Notice the dog quest is listed second. You know what's really important in MMOs :)
True endgame is transmog and decorating houses!

are you going to do a gold dubloon farm for low levels too? :)
You kinda need to be high level, OR really good at dodging ;) any chest in cutlass keys will give you doubloons.
The heart rune sidequest
Definitely an important one!

Does the extra xp for pvp flagging count for the gathering/crafting skills aswell?
Yes, you also get a luck bonus for higher chance on rare drops
what would happen if somebody manages to lvl up to 65 without joining a faction and walks into the cursed mist?
