Squirrel Proof Bird feeder

Bird feeder Home Depot -I wondered why a song sparrow left feeder the other day and stayed on the ground. Watched it for a while from a window. It went down sideways.
I checked it was dead. Today same thing.
I discovered their feed ports got sharp metal that appears to scrape their heads when they pull out or fly away quickly.
I just finished cutting back and filing metal leaves and removed 2 leaves completely.
Supper time now for finches sparrows chickadees and several other kinds.
All good now.

Here’s what I just did for my retractable tonneau cover on my F150. Quite often people think the springs in the canister are stretched or wore out. Safety tip about keeping your house from burning down- if you use your dryer often you should probably clean your ducts like right now- I don’t use it much so I clean the ducting every 2 years.

What I do to save the tray after washing-also I use tinfoil in the dish of tray that’s why this is in great shape for years. Home deliveries occasionally for restaurants keep the foil lasagna tray that fits perfect in this tray and reuse

A nice little cedar garden gate project- mitre and table saw, a drill and you’re in business! It’s 34x62, wide enough for lawnmower. Thanks Adam DIY, gonna buy that Dewalt cutting beast he uses in his gate build!

This is a quick fix to getting your BBQ ready for the next cook- it got pretty caked in the tub and grill so I spent 5 minutes to prep-did a baking soda/vinegar to loosen the tub crud, scraped out with wooden paint mixer, took my wire cup brush on my mini grinder to both sides of the grill, and made that sucker ready for chicken-also used some wrinnkled up aluminum foil to clean the burner hole...

Today I unveil bagged Banana Trees successfully, frost coulda killed them but I gave them a winterizing security I will use again come next winter. First frost was November 2014 something when I did the winterization situation to avoid any nauseation or frustration. My ground insulation at the base was the banana leaves and lots of maple leaves. Banana tree people may find this helpful
